Powerisrequiredfromaregulatedsupply(provided)orother12voltsDC,10% DCsource.Thenoiseonthesupplyneedstobebelow100mVpp.
Notethatmanyportablebatterysystemsandallautomobilesthathave a12voltnominalsupplywilloftenbefoundtohavehighvoltagespikesandbeas highas18voltswhenchargingorfullycharged.

Theinputcircuitofthemonitornormallyterminatestheincomingcablein75,but theseBNCsjackareauto-terminating.Whentwocablesareconnected,theinternal terminationisswitchedout,lettingthefinaldestinationequipmentprovidetheend termination.ThisarrangementisalsospeciallyofferedfortheY/C(S-Video)jacks.
