GROUNDINGORPOLARIZATION--Thisvideomonitor
maybeequippedwithapolarizedalternating-currentline
plug(aplughavingonebladewiderthantheother).This
plugwillfitintothepoweroutletonlyoneway.Thisisasafety
feature.Ifyouareunabletoinserttheplugfullyintothe
outlet,tryreversingtheplug.Iftheplugshouldstillfailtofit,
contactyourelectriciantoreplaceyourobsoleteoutlet.Do
notdefeatthesafetypurposeofthepolarizedplug.

AlternateWarnings-Thisvideomonitorisequippedwitha

system.Thiswillpreventdamagetothevideoproductdueto

extensioncordsasthiscanresultinariskoffireorelectric

INSTALLATION

LCDmonitorsmaybemountedinanypositionororientation.Considerationsfor
mountingincluderegardforhowthemonitorisgoingtobeused,routingof
connectingcords,andlocationsawayfromheatsources(includingdirectsunshine
ontheblackcase).
Mountinghardpointsinclude10-32and-20threadedinserts(seebacksideof
monitorphoto).Coolingisnotrequired,butsomeairflowaroundthecasewillallow
thesmallamountofheattobedissipated.
Powerisrequiredfromaregulatedsupply(provided)orother12voltsDC,10%
DCsource.Thenoiseonthesupplyneedstobebelow100mVpp.

Notethatmanyportablebatterysystemsandallautomobilesthathave
a12voltnominalsupplywilloftenbefoundtohavehighvoltagespikesandbeas
highas18voltswhenchargingorfullycharged.
