SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Important Safety Instructions

Please read this section on important safety instructions before replacing
the projector lens.
To prevent accidents during lens replacement and ensure product safety after
replacing the lens, be sure to follow the safety instructions described herein.

Incorrect usage could result in fire, an injury or

NOTE

Take care of the lens.

When transporting the LCD projector, be sure to remove the lens.

Otherwise it could result in damage.
When transporting the lens, protect the lens by attaching the lens cap.
Do not touch the lens to prevent fog or dirt of the lens that cause

deterioration of display quality.

Do not touch the lens directly with your hands or fi ngers.

This can dirty the lens and cause deterioration in image quality.

The lens is a precision optical device. Carefully handle the lens

without subjecting it to shocks or vibrations.

When resting the lens on a surface, place the lens face down on a soft

cloth.

Cleaning

Use commercially available lens tissue to clean the lens (used to clean

cameras, eyeglasses, etc.).
Excepting for lens, use a soft cloth to clean. When excessively soiled

dilute a neutral detergent in water, wet and wring out the soft cloth.
Do not use detergents or chemicals other than those noted above (e.g.

benzene or thinners).

OPERATIONS

Project an image as described in the LCD Projector user's manual, and

adjust the size and focus of the projected image.
See the Projection Distance table in this user's manual for information

on optional lens projection distances.

CAUTION

The distance of projection may not allow focusing on the peripheral

area of the screen. Adjust the focus to keep the center and the

peripheral area of the screen balanced.
This specifi cations are subject to change without notice.
The zoom lens may cause some distortion of the image on the screen

depending on the zoom position.
Distortion may appear on screen if the keystone correction (trapezoidal

distortion correction) is overly adjusted.
Keystone correction (trapezoidal distortion correction) may be limited

with some lenses.
To maintain a certain level of image quality, depending on the lens

model, the adjustable range of the focus and zoom is limited. As a

result, the area around the upper or lower limit of the dialog in the

projected image is not displayed in maximum zoom, but this is not a

malfunction.

Important Operation Instructions

Warning

Before replacing the projector lens, be sure to read

projector for use with this lens.

To ensure safe operations and the continued safety of this
product, be sure to follow all of the safety instructions written in
this manual and the operation manual of the LCD projector.

Do not place the lens in a location subject to direct

sunlight or other strong lighting or near heat-radiating
equipment.

This can cause a fi re due to the properties of the lens. It can
also cause injury or damage to the lens.

Do not subject the lens to shocks.

This can cause injury or damage to the lens.

Be sure to unplug the LCD projector before replacing

■

the lens.

The inside of the LCD projector has areas of high voltage which
can cause electrical shock.

Do not touch the fan of the LCD projector during

Before replacing the lens, be sure to turn off and

unplug the LCD projector, and allow at least 45
minutes for the projector to fully cool.

Replacing the Lens

The lens should be replaced by authorized service personnel.
Refer to the Replacement Manual for the replacement.

Reinigung

Verwenden Sie im Fachhandel erhältliche Objektivtücher (wie sie zur

Reinigung von Kameras, Brillen usw. verwendet werden), um das Objektiv
zu reinigen.

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung der anderen Teile ein weiches Tuch. Bei

starker Verschmutzung verdünnen Sie ein neutrales Reinigungsmittel in
Wasser, befeuchten Sie das weiche Tuch, und wringen Sie es dann aus.

Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel oder Chemikalien außer den oben

angeführten (vermeiden Sie Benzol und Verdünnungsmittel).

BEDIENUNGSSCHRITTE

Projizieren Sie ein Bild, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung des LCD-Projektors beschrieben,

und stellen Sie Größe und Fokus des projizierten Bildes ein.

Siehe die Projektionsentfernungstabelle in dieser Bedienungsanleitung für Informationen

zur Projektionsentfernung des optionalen Objektivs.

VORSICHT

Unter Umständen ermöglicht die Projektionsentfernung die Fokussierung auf die

Randstellen des Bildschirms nicht. Stellen Sie den Fokus ein, um ein ausgewogenes Bild

zwischen der Mitte und den Randstellen des Bildes zu erhalten.
Änderungen der technischen Daten ohne vorherige Ankündigung vorbehalten.
Das Zoomobjektiv kann in Abhängigkeit von der Zoomposition zu einer Verzerrung des

Bildes auf dem Bildschirm führen.
Falls die Trapezentzerrung zu stark ist, kann das Bild auf dem Bildschirm verzerrt sein.
Bei einigen Objektiven kann die Trapezentzerrung begrenzt sein.
Damit je nach Objektivmodell die Bildqualität nicht unter einen gewissen Grad abfallen

kann, ist der Einstellbereich für Fokus und Zoom begrenzt. Als Ergebnis ist der obere

bzw. untere Rand des Dialogs im projizierten Bild bei Maximalzoom nicht zu sehen, was

jedoch keine Störung darstellt.

Wichtige Anleitungen für den Betrieb

Warnung

■ Bevor Sie das Projektorobjektiv austauschen, sollten Sie diese
Bedienungsanleitung und die Bedienungsanleitung des LCD­Projektors, mit dem dieses Objektiv verwendet werden soll,
aufmerksam durchlesen.

Um den sicheren Betrieb und die fortgesetzte Sicherheit dieses Produkts zu
gewährleisten, sollten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise in dieser Bedienungsanleitung
und in der des LCD-Projektors befolgen.

■ Platzieren Sie das Objektiv nicht an einem Ort, wo es direktem

Sonnenlicht oder anderem starken Licht ausgesetzt ist, bzw.
in der Nähe von Wärmequellen.

Anderenfalls besteht Brandgefahr infolge der Eigenschaften des Objektivs.
Außerdem besteht auch die Gefahr von Körperverletzungen oder einer
Beschädigung des Objektivs.

■ Schützen Sie das Objektiv vor Stößen.

■ Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker des LCD-Projektors ab, bevor Sie

das Objektiv austauschen.

Das Innere des LCD-Projektors weist Hochspannungsbereich auf, die zu
Stromschlag führen können.

■ Berühren Sie nicht das Gebläse des LCD-Projektors während
des Betriebs.

Anderenfalls besteht Verletzungsgefahr.

bzw. stoßen Sie sie nicht an.

optische Einstellung gestört werden, so dass eine erneute Einstellung erforderlich
wird.

■ Achten Sie beim Austauschen des Objektivs darauf, die

Anschlussstecker oder –drähte im LCD-Projektor nicht zu
beschädigen.

Anderenfalls kann das Gerät beschädigt werden. Ziehen Sie nicht an den
Anschlusssteckern oder –drähten, und achten Sie darauf, dass sie sich nicht in
den Leiterplatten oder dem Gehäuse verfangen.

■ Nachdem Sie das Objektiv ausgetauscht haben, können Teile

davon oder der Lüftungsschlitz (nur bei den Modellen FL-601
und SL-602) aus dem LCD-Projektor herausragen.

Falls Sie den LCD-Projektor in seinem ursprünglichen Verpackungskarton
befördern, kann er beschädigt werden.

Austauschen des Objektivs

Das Objektiv sollte von autorisiertem Kundendienstpersonal ausgetauscht werden.
Bitte beziehen Sie sich auf die Austauschanleitung für Hinweise zum Austauschen des
Objektivs.

■レンズの取扱いに注意してください

・液晶プロジェクタを輸送する場合は、必ずレンズを取り外してく

ださい。故障の原因となります。

・レンズを輸送する場合は、レンズキャップを取り付け、レンズ部

を保護してください。
・硬いもので擦ったり、磨いたりしないください。
・レンズに直接手を触れないでください。レンズがくもったり汚れ

たりすると、画像品質に悪い影響を及ぼします。
・

レンズは精密光学機器です。衝撃や振動を与えないよう、取扱

には充分注意をお願いいたします。
・

レンズを置く時は、前面部を下にして、柔らかい布の上に置い

てください。

■お手入れについて

・レンズのお手入れは市販のレンズクリーニングペーパー（カメラ

やメガネの清掃に使用するもの）で行ってください。
・その他の部分はガーゼなどの柔らかい布で軽く拭いてください。

汚れがひどい場合は、水または水で薄めた中性洗剤に浸した柔ら

かい布を良く絞って、軽く拭いてください。
・ベンジンやシンナーなどの溶剤、研磨剤など上記以外の洗剤や薬

品などはご使用にならないでください。

使用方法

・液晶プロジェクタの取扱説明書に従って画像を投写し、投写サイ

ズやフォーカスを調整してください。

・オプション投写レンズの投写距離については、本説明書の投写距

離表をご参照ください。

・投写サイズによっては画像の周辺部分が中心と比べてフォーカス

のバランスが取りにくい場合があります。中心と周辺部分のバラ

ンスが合うようにフォーカスを調整してください。
・各仕様は、改良のため、予告なく変更することがあります。
・ズームレンズは、ズーム位置によって、画面に多少の歪みを生じ

ることがあります。
・キーストン補正量（台形歪み補正量）が大きい場合、画面に歪み

が生じる場合があります。
・レンズによっては、キーストン補正量（台形歪み補正量）が制限

される場合があります。
・フォーカスやズームの調整機能は、一定の表示品質を維持するた

め、レンズの型式によって調整範囲に制限を設けています。この

ため、投写画面に表示されるダイアログの上限または下限付近で

は、最大まで表示されませんが故障ではありません。

取付け作業上のご注意

警告

■取付け作業の前に、本書および本品を取付ける液晶

プロジェクタの取扱説明書をよくお読みください。

作業の安全と製品の安全維持のため、本書や液晶プロジェクタ
の取扱説明書に記載されている注意事項を必ずお守りください。

■日光や照明光が直接あたるところ、熱器具のそばな

どには置かないでください。

レンズの特性上、火災の原因となります。また故障や損傷
の原因となることがあります。

■衝撃を与えないでください。

けがや故障の原因となります。

■

取付け作業の際は、必ず電源プラグを抜いてください。

液晶プロジェクタの内部には高電圧の部分があり、感電の
原因となります。

■液晶プロジェクタのファンには、回転中に手を触れ

ないでください。

けがの原因となります。

■レンズ交換の前には、必ず電源をオフにして電源コー

ドを抜き、45 分以上待ってセット本体を充分冷まし
てください。

高温状態での取扱いは火傷の原因となります。

■取付け作業の際、本体内部へホコリが入らないよう

にご注意ください。

内部にホコリがたまった状態で使用し続けると火災、感電
の原因となることがあります。

■液晶プロジェクタを天吊り設置している場合は、天吊

り設置状態でレンズ交換をおこなわないでください。

けがや故障の原因となります。

注意

■

取付け作業の際、液晶プロジェクタの液晶パネルや偏光板
には、手を触れたり衝撃を与えたりしないでください。

故障の原因となることがあります。また、光学調整にず
れが生じて再調整が必要となります。

■取付け作業の際、液晶プロジェクタのコネクタや線
材を傷めないようにご注意ください。

故障の原因となることがあります。コネクタや線材を無理に引っ
ぱったり、基板やケースに挟んだりしないようにご注意ください。

交換方法

本製品の交換作業は、サービス対応となっております。交換作
業の際は、別紙の交換マニュアルを参照してください。
