TV SET-UP
2. After connecting all your Audio / Video equipment to the TV, plug the power cord on the plug side of the power cable into the wall receptacle and on the receptacle side into the “AC IN” connector on the back of the TV. Make sure that power cable is securely inserted on both ends. Check if a red or blue light lights up on the front panel of the TV. If there is, you can now proceed with turning on and setting-up the TV. If no light has turned on, locate the power button on the back of the TV and make sure it’s pressed. NOTE that this switch is not easy to locate on the back panel. It can be found to the right of the “AC IN” connector as indicated in the figure below:
3. After turning on the TV by pressing either the POWER button on the right side of the TV or on the remote control, please take the following steps to have the TV memorize all the available TV stations in your area (only if you plan on watching TV channels without going through a cable box or satellite receiver):
1. Press the MENU button on the remote control once
2. Press the ► directional button repeatedly to move to the SEARCH menu screen
3. Press the ▼ directional button repeatedly until the AUTO SEARCH feature is highlighted in
orange colour.
4. Press the ► directional button once to activate the AUTO SEARCH function. Now the TV will
search for all available cable TV channels in your area and memorize them. Make sure not to press any other buttons during this process so the TV can complete the scanning process. Once the scanning process is completed, the TV will stop at the first available channel. Now you can skip to any available TV channel by pressing the CH ▲or CH ▼ on the TV or the numerical and CH ▲or CH ▼ buttons on the remote control (when trying to view cable TV channels, make sure that you are in TUNER mode by pressing the SOURCE button repeatedly until a channel number appears in the top right corner of the TV screen.

5. DO NOT USE THIS APPARATUS NEAR WATER
Do not use the product near water. For example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, and the like.
6. CLEAN ONLY WITH DRY CLOTH
Unplug the TV from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
7. DO NOT BLOCK ANY VENTILATION OPENINGS
Slots and openings in the cabinet back or bottom are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the TV and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat resource. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacture's instructions have been adhere to.
8. DO NOT INSTALL NEAR ANY HEAT SOURCES
This product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or other products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE POLARIZED OR GROUNDING-TYPE PLUG
A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding- type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. PROTECT THE POWER CORD FROM BEING WALKED ON OR PINCHED PARTICULARLY AT PLUGS, CONVENIENCE RECEPTACLES, AND THE POINT WHERE THEY EXIT FROM THE APPARATUS.

12. USE ONLY WITH CART, STAND, TRIPOD, BRACKET, OR TABLE SPECIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER, OR SOLD WITH THE APPARATUS. WHEN A CART IS USED, USE CAUTION WHEN MOVING THE CART/APPARATUS COMBINATION TO AVOID INJURY FROM TIP-OVER.
Do not place this TV on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket ,or table. The TV may fall, causing serious injury to someone, and serious damage to the appliance. An TV and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
13. UNPLUG THIS APPARATUS DURING LIGHTNING STORMS OR WHEN UNUSED FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
For added Protection for this TV receiver during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long period of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the TV due to lightning and power line surges.
14. REFER ALL SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. SERVICING IS REQUIRED WHEN THE APPARATUS HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN ANY WAY, SUCH AS POWER-SUPPLY CORD OR PLUG IS DAMAGED, LIQUID HAS BEEN SPILLED OR OBJECTS HAVE FALLEN INTO THE APPARATUS, THE APPARATUS HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO RAIN OR MOISTURE, DOES NOT OPERATE NORMALLY, OR HAS BEEN DROPPED.

POWER SOURCE
This TV should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your appliance dealer or local power company . For TVs intended to operate from battery power, or other sources, refer to the operating instructions.
16. POWER CORD PROTECTION
Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.
17. OUTDOOR ANTENNA GROUNDING
If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the TV, be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded

to provide some protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges. Section 810 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA NO.70,provides information with respect to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit , size of grounding conductors, location of antenna discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode.(Fig.A)
18. LIGHTNING

19. POWER LINES
An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines, or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. When installing an outside atenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.
20. OVERLOADING
Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
21. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY
Never push objects of any kind into this TV through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind into the TV.
22. SERVICING
Do not attempt to service this TV yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
23. REPLACEMENT PARTS
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician uses replacement parts specified by the manufacturer that have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, injury to persons or other hazards.
24. SAFETY CHECK
Upon completion of any service or repairs to this TV, ask the service technician to perform routine safety checks to determine that the TV is in proper operating condition.

Brief Product Overview
1.Connection
Connect the antenna lead or CATV cable or external equipment (such as Antenna, Cable TV, VCD, DVD, VCR, Set top box, etc.) to the corresponding terminals or interface on the TV rear (please refer to the owner s manual of the equipment to be connected as well) and confirm that the signal source is available and works normally.

Open the back battery cover on the remote control and insert 2 x 'AAA' size batteries, noting the correct polarities marked inside the battery compartment . Next close the battery cover.

3.Switching on/off
1)Connect the TV to power outlet. Switch the power switch located on the back of the TV on (See page 6, item 21 for location), if the power indicator is red, it means the TV is off now. You need to press the
POWER switch on the TV or the POWER button on the remote control to turn on the TV, and the power
indicator will light up in blue.
2)Press the power switch or thePOWER button on the remote control again to turn off the TV.
4.Signal source selection
Press the number [1-9] button or CH+ orCH- button to select TV input; press the SOURCE button to select TV, Video, S-Video,VGA,Component..
5.Air/Cable selection
In order to access this setting, you need to be in the Antenna (TV) source mode(press SOURCE button repeatedly). You can select the signal receiving method according to the following steps:
1) Press the MENU button to enter the main menu.
2) Press the button to select the item Search and press the

button to enterSearch menu.
3) Press the button to select the item Tuning Mode.
4) Press the button to change the item among Air,Cable .

5)Press OK button to confirm your selection. Press OK again to exit from the menu.
6.Channel search
In order to access this setting, you need to be in the Antenna (TV) source mode (press SOURCE button repeatedly).
1) Press the MENU button to enter the main menu.
2) Press the button to select the item Search, and press the button to enter Search menu.
3) Press the button to select the item Auto Search.
4) Press the button to start auto searching for all available channels.

5)Once all the available channels have been memorized, you are now able to use the numerical buttons or channel + / - buttons to watch the channel number you desire.
