5. DO NOT USE THIS APPARATUS NEAR WATER
Do not use the product near water. For example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, and the like.
6. CLEAN ONLY WITH DRY CLOTH
Unplug the TV from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
7. DO NOT BLOCK ANY VENTILATION OPENINGS
Slots and openings in the cabinet back or bottom are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the TV and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat resource. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacture's instructions have been adhere to.
8. DO NOT INSTALL NEAR ANY HEAT SOURCES This product should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves, or other products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. DO NOT DEFEAT THE SAFETY PURPOSE OF THE POLARIZED OR GROUNDING-TYPE PLUG
A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding- type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. PROTECT THE POWER CORD FROM BEING WALKED ON OR PINCHED PARTICULARLY AT PLUGS, CONVENIENCE RECEPTACLES, AND THE POINT WHERE THEY EXIT FROM THE APPARATUS.
11. ONLY USE ATTACHMENTS/ACCESSORIES SPECIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURE.

12. USE ONLY WITH CART, STAND, TRIPOD, BRACKET, OR TABLE SPECIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER, OR SOLD WITH THE APPARATUS. WHEN A CART IS USED, USE CAUTION WHEN MOVING THE CART/APPARATUS COMBINATION TO AVOID INJURY FROM TIP-OVER. Do not place this TV on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket ,or table. The TV may
fall, causing serious injury to someone, and serious damage to the appliance. An TV and cart combination should be moved with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the product and cart combination to overturn.
13. UNPLUG THIS APPARATUS DURING LIGHTNING STORMS OR WHEN UNUSED FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
For added Protection for this TV receiver during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long period of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the TV due to lightning and power line surges.
14. REFER ALL SERVICING TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PERSONNEL. SERVICING IS REQUIRED WHEN THE APPARATUS HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN ANY WAY, SUCH AS POWER-SUPPLY CORD OR PLUG IS DAMAGED, LIQUID HAS BEEN SPILLED OR OBJECTS HAVE FALLEN INTO THE APPARATUS, THE APPARATUS HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO RAIN OR MOISTURE, DOES NOT OPERATE NORMALLY, OR HAS BEEN DROPPED.

POWER SOURCE
This TV should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your appliance dealer or local power company . For TVs intended to operate from battery power, or other sources, refer to the operating instructions.
16. POWER CORD PROTECTION
Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.
17. OUTDOOR ANTENNA GROUNDING
If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the TV, be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded

to provide some protection against voltage surges and built-up static charges. Section 810 of the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA NO.70,provides information with respect to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit , size of grounding conductors, location of antenna discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode.(Fig.A)

a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the TV due to lightning and power line surges.
19. POWER LINES An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines, or other electric light or power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. When installing an outside atenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.
20. OVERLOADING
Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock.
21. OBJECT AND LIQUID ENTRY
Never push objects of any kind into this TV through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind into the TV.
22. SERVICING
Do not attempt to service this TV yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
23. REPLACEMENT PARTS When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician uses replacement parts specified by the manufacturer that have the same characteristics as the original part. Unauthorized substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, injury to persons or other hazards.
24. SAFETY CHECK Upon completion of any service or repairs to this TV, ask the service technician to perform routine safety checks to determine that the TV is in proper operating condition.

Brief Operating Instructions
1. Connection
Connect the antenna lead or CATV cable or external equipments ( such as Antenna, Cable TV ,VCD,DVD, VTR,Set top box,etc .) to the corresponding terminals or interface on the TV rear ( please refer to the owner s manual of the equipment to be connected as well ) and confirm that the signal source is avaliable and works normally.

2. The remote control
Open the battery cover of the remote control and install two AA size batteries and then close the battery cover .

3.Switching on/off
1) Connect the TV to power outlet. The power indicator will glow in red color. Press the power switch or the POWER button on the remote control to turn on the TV.
2) Press the power switch or the POWER button on the remote control to turn off the TV.
4.Signal source selection
Press the TV/AV button to select TV or AV mode.
5.Air/Cable selection
You can select the signal receiving method according to the following steps:
1) Press the MENU button repeatedly until the PRESET menu appears as shown in the right .
2) Press the CH+ or CH- button to select the item Antenna.

3) Press the VOL+ or VOL- to change the item between Air and Cable.

6.Channel search
1) Press the MENU button repeatedly until the PRESET menu appears as shown in the right.

3) Press the VOL+ or VOL- to start to auto-search programs.
7.Picture adjustment
1) Press the MENU button, and the PICTURE menu appears as shown in the right.
2) Press the CH+ or CH- to select the item you want to adjust.
3) Press the VOL+ or VOL- to adjust the level .
8.Sound adjustment
1) Press the MENU button repeatedly until AUDIO menu appears as shown right .

9.Timer setting
1) Press the MENU button repeatedly until the CLOCK menu appears as shown in the right.
2) Press the CH+ or CH- to select the item you want to set.
3) Press VOL+ to set hour and press VOL- to set minute.

Learning about your new TV
You can operate your TV by using the buttons on the front panel or the remote control. All the terminals on the front and the back panel provide the connections you will need to connect other equipment to your TV.

Note: The above figures are for reference only, please refer to the actual units to determine their appearance.
Caution: The TV power plug has one prong wider than the other and will fit only one way into a standard electrical outlet(120VAC,60Hz).If the plug does not fit into the outlet, try turning it around. If the plug still does not fit, the outlet is probably non-standard and must be replaced by a qualified electrician. Do not tamper with the plug or try to force it into a non-standard outlet.
Selecting a location for the TV
1) Place the TV on the floor or on a sturdy platform in a location where light does not directly hit the screen.
2) Place the TV far enough from the walls to allow proper ventilation. Inadequate ventilation may cause overheating, which may damage the TV.
Connecting your TV
If you haven't connected electronic equipment before, or you have been frustrated in the past, you may wish to read this section.(Cables are not supplied.)
Caution: Do not plug the TV in until you have finished connecting all of your equipment.
