Installing your new appliance

Before using the appliance for the first time, you should be informed of the following tips.

Ventilation of appliance

In order to improve efficiency of the cooling system and save energy, it is

necessary to maintain good ventilation around the appliance for the dissipation

of head. For this reason, sufficient clear space should be available around the wine cooler.
Installation Requirement: It is advisable for there to be at least 1/2” clearance at the back,
1/4”at top and 1/4” at sides. The installation should allow the unit to be pulled forward for

NOTE:

A typical 750 ml bottle of wine weighs 3 to 3.5 pounds. The wine cooler, when fully loaded

could potentially weigh up to 300 pounds.

To minimize vibration and noise, the cooler should be leveled by adjusting the legs. It's

recommended to use a carpenter's level, measuring levelness at the top of the product from

both side to side, and front to back.

Installation Clearance Requirements

When installing the wine cooler under a counter,follow the recommended spacing

dimensions shown.

•To ensure proper service access and ventilation, allow at least 1/2” clearance at the back,
1/4”at top and 1/4” at sides. The installation should allow the unit to be pulled forward for

servicing, if necessary.

•The wine cooler should be installed on a firm and level surface that will be able to support

the entire weight of a fully loaded unit. It is important for the wine cooler to be level in order

to work properly.If needed, you can adjust the height of the wine cooler by rotating the feet.

See the “Leveling the Wine cooler” section.

NOTE: This unit is front breathing.

Do not block the front air vent. Blockage of the vent will result in high operating temperatures

and system failure.

Reversing The Door Swing

Follow the instructions below to reverse the door swing.

To reverse the door from right swing to left swing:

1.Open the door and remove two screws in the right bottom

hinge.

2.Remove the door from the cabinet slowly.Place the door

Leveling The Wine Cooler

It is important for the wine cooler to be leveled in order to

work properly. It can be raised or lowered by rotating the

plastic sheaths around each of the feet on the bottom of

the machine. If you find that the surface is not level, rotate

the feet until the wine cooler becomes level. You may

need to make several adjustments to level it.

We recommend using a carpenter’s level to check the

Handle installation

Open the door and carefully pull out the door gasket

only at

area where the handle is to be installed.

You will be able to see two screws inside the door.

Align the handle with the screws and tighten using a Phillips

head screwdriver until the handle is flush against the door

frame.

CAUTION:Do not over-tighten the screws as this may cause

damage to the handle or to the stainless steel door.

Carefully press the door gasket into its original position.

Operation

Before plugging in you cooler for the first time remove all packaging, clean the cooler with a

soft rag and a mixture of lukewarm water and baking soda(2 tablespoons baking soda in 1

quart of water works well). Wipe dry with soft cloth.

Note: Let stand upright for at least 4 hours before plugging in, to avoid potential damage to

the compressor.

Setting the temperature

Setting the temperature

Use the / buttons to set the desired temperature of the appliance. Each time the /

buttons are pressed, the temperature will increase / decrease by 1°F(or 1°C).

The temperature can be set between 39°F to 64°F(4 deg C to18 deg C).

Setting Temperature Memory Function

If the power failure happens, the set temperature will be saved by the unit. Once the power is

back on, the unit will resume cooling at the same set temperature.

“Close Door”Reminder Function

If the door is not fully closed, there will be warning alarm after 2 minutes. Press the light

button“ ”, the warning alarm will be suspended for 5 minutes.

Then the warning alarm continues again and won't stop until the door is closed.

Defrosting

Note that under most temperature settings, the unit will automatically defrost under most

ambient conditions. However, on colder settings, some frost may build up. Additionally, the

more humid the ambient conditions, the more frost may build up. Keep the door closed as

much as possible and avoid opening the door unless necessary to minimize frost build-up.

It is not advisable to scrape off ice and frost with sharp tools or wooden bars, so as not to

damage the appliance.

Using your appliance

To prevent damaging the door gasket, make sure to open the door enough to clear the racks when

pulling them out. For easy access to the bottles, fully extend the racks all the way out.

To remove the shelves from the rail, pull each shelf approximately 1/3 out. Use a long flat screwdriver

to press down the left plastic notch as show in Figure A and at the same time lift the right plastic notch

as show in Figure B. The proceed to remove the shelf slowly.

To prevent damaging the door or gasket , make sure to open the door enough to clear the racks when

pulling them out.

To handle the bottles, it is necessary to extend the rack at least 1/3. The sides of the racks are

equipped with protective stoppers which prevent bottles from falling from the shelves.

When removing / inserting the shelves from / into the rails, lift one side of the shelf as shown in the

picture below and pull the shelf out towards you, or push it in when inserting it, until one side is

securely seated on the rail.

Note:

There are two glass shelves which are specifically designed for your beverage storage need.
These glass shelves need to be placed and secured on the top of wooden shelves before storing
the beverage on top it.

If you experience a problem with your appliance or are concerned that the appliance is not

functioning correctly, you can carry out some easy checks before calling for service, please

This Warranty, provided by Hisense U.S.A. Corporation (hereinafter “Hisense”) covers

America, Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands only, excluding any third party

provided accessories and/or add-on’s purchased separately;

This warranty shall apply solely when this Product is purchased, stored, transported,

handled, operated and maintained according to the Hisense provided instructions

attached to or furnished with the Product. Hisense will, in its sole determination, repair or

refund units deemed defective solely for materials or workmanship, at Hisense’s discretion,

for a limited warranty period of:

8.Damages caused by services performed by owner, service companies not authorized by
Hisense in writing, the use of parts other than genuine Hisense parts, or parts obtained from
entities other than Hisense authorized service companies.

Obligations for service and parts under this warranty must be performed by Hisense or a

Antes de enchufar la cava por primera vez, quite todo el empaque, limpie la cava con un
paño suave y una mezcla agua tibia y bicarbonato de sodio (2 cucharadas de bicarbonato
de sodio en 1 litro de agua funciona bien). Seque con un paño suave.
Nota: Déjela en posición vertical por al menos 4 horas antes de enchufarla para evitar
posibles daños en el compresor.

Para evitar que se dañe la puerta o el sello, asegúrese de abrir lo suficiente la puerta para sacar
los estantes.
Para agarrar las botellas, se necesita extender el estante al menos 1/3. Los laterales de los
estantes están equipados con frenos protectores que evitan que las botellas se caigan de los

Lave el sello con detergente suave y agua tibia.

Enjuague y seque completamente después de
la limpieza. Utilice un paño suave y una mezcla
de agua tibia y bicarbonato de sodio (2
cucharadas de bicarbonato de sodio en 1 litro
de agua funciona bien). Después de la limpieza,
seque con un paño suave.

Solución de problemas

Si experimenta algún problema en su aparato o si está preocupado de que el aparato no
está funcionando correctamente, puede llevar a cabo algunas comprobaciones antes de
solicitar el servicio, por favor véase más abajo.

Los sonidos siguientes son bastante normales:

•Ruidos de funcionamiento del compresor.

•Sonido gluglú similar a la ebullición del agua.

•Ruido de clic antes del inicio del compresor.

Otros ruidos anormales se deben a las siguientes razones y pueden
que necesite revisar y tomar las acciones:
El gabinete no está nivelado.
La espalda del aparato toca la pared.
Las botellas o contenedores se caen o ruedan.

Es normal oír frecuentemente el sonido del motor, el cual necesitará
funcionar más bajo las circunstancias siguientes:

•El ajuste de la temperatura es más bajo que la necesaria.

•Gran cantidad de alimentos cálidos han sido almacenados

recientemente en el aparato.

•La temperatura fuera del aparato es demasiado alta.

•Las puertas se mantienenabiertas durante un período demasiado largo

o de manera demasiado frecuente.

•Después de la instalación del aparato o si ha sido apagado durante un
largo tiempo.

Verifique que las salidas de aire no estén bloqueadas y asegúrese de que
las botellas estén colocadas dentro del electrodoméstico para permitir
suficiente ventilación. Asegúrese de que la puerta esté completamente
cerrada. Para quitar la escarcha, vea el capítulo de descongelación.

Es posible que haya dejado abiertas las puertas durante un período
demasiado largo o de manera demasiado frecuente; o las puertas se
mantiene abiertas por

Eliminación del electrodoméstico

Está prohibido desechar el electrodoméstico como desperdicios domésticos.

Materiales de empaque

El material de empaque con el símbolo de reciclaje es reciclable. Elimine el material en el
contenedor de deshechos adecuado para reciclarlo.

Garantía

SERVICIO DE GARANTÍA DEL FABRICANTE EN EL HOGAR LIMITADA DE DOS
AÑOS

Esta Garantía, brindada por Hisense U.S.A. Corporation (en adelante "Hisense") cubre al
refrigerador estándar (en adelante "Producto") en Estados Unidos de América, Puerto Rico,
Guam y las Islas Vírgenes de EE.UU., excluyendo cualquier accesorios y/o complementos de
terceros comprados por separado.
Esta garantía se aplica solamente cuando el Producto se compra, se almacena, se transporta,
se maneja, funciona y se mantiene según las instrucciones adjuntas o proporcionadas con el
Producto brindadas por Hisense. Hisense, a su exclusivo criterio, reparará o dará un
reembolso considerando los defectos únicamente por materiales o mano de obra, a criterio de
Hisense, para el período limitado de la garantía de:

Dos años por Piezas y Mano de Obra del Producto desde la fecha de compra (se
requiere el recibo de la compra) sólo para el comprador original; y

Cinco (5) años por Piezas del compresor* desde la fecha de compra (se requiere prueba de la
compra), solo para el comprador original.

(*Todas las otras piezas están excluidas de esta garantía; la mano de obra no está incluida)

La Garantía no cubre el uso comercial y/o alquiler del Producto.

QUÉ NO ESTÁ CUBIERTO:

1. Piezas que no sean de Hisense, incluidos cualquier accesorio y/o complementos de terceros;

2. Llamadas de servicio de reparación para corregir la instalación del Producto, instrucciones en
cómo utilizar el Producto, reemplazos de fusiles en el hogar o restablecimiento de los
disyuntores, reemplazos o corrección el cableado en el hogar.

Llamadas de servicio relacionadas al uso que no sea normal al uso doméstico de una familia.

4. Daños de cualquier clase que resulten de accidentes, alteraciones, mal uso, abuso,
incendios, inundaciones, causas de fuerza mayor, instalación inadecuada, instalación que no
sigua con los códigos eléctricos y de tubería, o productos/accesorios no aprobados por Hisense.

5. Servicio fuera de Estados Unidos, las Islas Vírgenes, Guam y Puerto Rico.

6. Servicio o soporte para unidades que fueron modificadas sin autorización hechas al Producto.

7. Pérdida de alimentos o bebidas debido a cualquier falla en el sistema de enfriamiento sellado.
Llamadas de servicio para reparar o reemplazar bombillas, filtros de aire, filtros de agua, otros
consumibles, perillas, manijas u otras piezas estéticas.

8. Daños causados por servicios realizados por el propietario, compañías de servicios no
autorizadas por Hisense, uso de partes que no sean genuinas de Hisense, o partes obtenidas
por entidades que no sean empresas de servicio autorizadas por Hisense.

Las obligaciones por el servicio y las piezas bajo la garantía deben ser realizadas por Hisense
o una empresa de servicios autorizada por Hisense. Las fallas en el Producto o
especificaciones descriptas o ilustradas están sujeto de cambio sin aviso.

EXCLUSIÓN DE GARANTÍAS: LIMITACIÓN DE RECURSOS

Exclusiones y limitaciones:Esta garantía cubre los defectos de fábrica en los materiales y la

mano de obra encontrado en el uso normal, no comercial del Producto, y no cubre los daños en
la instrucción del consumidor, entrega, instalación, configuración, ajustes y estética o daños
debido a causas naturales, accidentes, mal uso, abuso, negligencia, uso comercial o
modificaciones de cualquier parte del Producto. Esta garantía aplica sólo al consumidor original
y no cubre los Productos usados vendidos a consumidores en condiciones de "TAL COMO
ESTÁ" o "CON PROBLEMAS" ni consumibles (ej.: fusibles, pilas, bombillas, etc.). Esta garantía
no es válida si el número de serie aplicado por fábrica se altera o se quita del Producto. Daños
ocurridos a cualquier Producto devuelto para el servicio debido a: riesgo ambiental, embalaje
inadecuado o no seguro; el envío por el comprador original queda excluido de esta Garantía.
Esta garantía es válida sólo en Estados Unidos, las Islas Vírgenes de EE.UU., Guam y Puerto
Rico y sólo aplica a los Productos comprados y con servicio en estas regiones. La garantía será
anulada si la unidad se intenta reparar por el consumidor o cualquier tercero que NO esté
autorizado por Hisense.

NO HAY GARANTÍAS EXPRESAS QUE NO SEAN AQUELLAS MENCIONADAS
EXPRESAMENTE ARRIBA, Y NO HAY GARANTÍAS, YA SEA EXPRESA O IMPLÍCITA,
INCLUYENDO, PERO NO LIMITADA, A CUALQUIER GARANTÍA IMPLÍCITA DE
COMERCIALIZACIÓN O IDONEIDAD PARA UN PROPÓSITO PARTICULAR, SE APLICARÁ
DESPUÉS DEL PERÍODO DE GARANTÍA MENCIONADO ARRIBA, Y NINGUNA OTRA
GARANTÍA EXPRESA O GARANTÍA OTORGADA POR CUALQUIER PERSONA,
EMPRESA O ENTIDAD CON RESPECTO AL PRODUCTO DEBE SER OBLIGATORIA EN
HISENSE. ESTA GARANTÍA ES ÚNICA Y EXCLUSIVA CON RESPECTO AL PRODUCTO Y
HISENSE ES EL ÚNICO PRESTADOR DE GARANTÍA PARA EL PRODUCTO. LAS
REPARACIONES O DEVOLUCIONES, A CRITERIO EXCLUSIVO DE HISENSE, SON LA
EXCLUSIVA COMPENSACIÓN DEL CONSUMIDOR. HISENSE NO SE RESPONSABILIZA
POR LOS DAÑOS ACCIDENTALES O AQUELLOS CAUSADOS POR EL USO, MAL USO O
INCAPACIDAD PARA USAR EL PRODUCTO. NO OBSTANTE A LO ANTERIOR, ANTE
HISENSE, LA RECUPERACIÓN NO EXCEDERÁ EL PRECIO DE LA COMPRA DEL
