固定用穴
RS-232C コネクタ
1 接続する測定器の電源コードをコンセントから抜く。
2 ブランクパネルの 2 つの固定ネジ（M3 × 6 mm) を外す。
3 ブランクパネルを取り外す。
4 インタフェースの向きと、基板面に触らないことに注意して、
奥までしっかりと差し込む。
5 取り外した 2 つの固定ネジ（M3 × 6 mm) を、インタフェース
固定用穴にプラスドライバでしっかり締める。
6 RS-232C ケーブルを接続する
RS-232C コネクタに、RS-232C ケーブルを接続します。
推奨ケーブル：9637 RS-232C ケーブル
7 コンピュータと通信する。
通信については測定器の取扱説明書を参照してください。
インタフェースを取り外すとき：
電源コードをコンセントから抜き、上記の逆の手順でインタフェースを
取り外します。

ただくためにも、取扱説明書はていねいに扱い、いつもお手元に置いてご使用

概要
Z3001 RS-232C インタフェースは、測定器に装着することにより、測定器
の機能を RS-232C でコントロールすることができます。

本器がお手元に届きましたら、輸送中において異常または破損がないか点検し
てからご使用ください。万一、破損あるいは仕様どおり動作しない場合は、お
買上店（代理店）か最寄りの営業所にご連絡ください。
使用前の確認
• 使用前には、保存や輸送による故障がないか、点検と動作確認をしてから使
用してください。故障を確認した場合は、お買上店（代理店）か最寄りの営
業所にご連絡ください。
保守・サ－ビス
• 本器の汚れをとるときは、柔らかい布に水か中性洗剤を少量含ませて、軽く
拭いてください。ベンジン、アルコール、アセトン、エーテル、ケトン、シ
ンナー、ガソリン系を含む洗剤は絶対に使用しないでください。変形、変色
することがあります。
• 故障と思われるときは、お買上店（代理店）か最寄りの営業所にご連絡くだ
さい。修理に出される際は、輸送中に破損しないように梱包し、故障内容も
書き添えてください。輸送中の破損については保証しかねます。
• 本器の確度維持あるいは確認には、定期的な校正が必要です。

この取扱説明書には本器を安全に操作し、安全な状態に保つのに要する情報や
注意事項が記載されています。本器を使用する前に次の安全に関する事項をよ

この機器は IEC 61010 安全規格に従って、設計され、試験し、安
全な状態で出荷されています。測定方法を間違えると人身事故や機
器の故障につながる可能性があります。また、本器をこの取扱説明
書の記載以外の方法で使用した場合は、本器が備えている安全確保
のための機能が損なわれる可能性があります。取扱説明書を熟読し、
十分に内容を理解してから操作してください。万一事故があっても、
弊社製品が原因である場合以外は責任を負いかねます。

本器を安全にご使用いただくために、また機能を十二分にご活用いただくため
に、次の注意事項をお守りください。
本器の設置について

• 改造、分解、修理はしないでください。火災や感電事故、けがの
原因になります。
• 感電事故を避けるためインタフェースは、接続機器の電源を切り、
すべての接続コードと電源コードを外してから、取り付けまたは
取り外しをしてください。
• インタフェースのコネクタの脱着時は、各機器の電源を切ってく
ださい。感電事故の原因になります。
• ネジ留めを確実にしないと、仕様を満足しなかったり、故障の原
因になります。
• コネクタの接続を確実にしないと仕様を満足しなかったり、故障
の原因になります。
• 本器は防滴構造となっていません。コネクタ部に水滴が付着する
と、故障の原因になりますので、注意してください。
• 不安定な台の上や傾いた場所に置かないでください。落ちたり、
倒れたりした場合、けがや本器の故障の原因になります。
• 本器の損傷を防ぐため、運搬および取り扱いの際は振動、衝撃を
避けてください。特に、落下などによる衝撃に注意してください。
• インタフェースを差し込むときは、板金部分を持って差し込んで
ください。基板を直接触ると静電気の影響で故障する恐れがあり
ます。( 静電気対策用のリストストラップを使用して差し込むこと
を推奨します）

Holes used to secure the interface in place
RS-232C connector
1 Unplug the target instrument’s power cord from the wall outlet.
2 Remove the two fixing screws from the blank panel (M3×6
mm).
3 Remove the blank panel.
4 Taking care to align the interface properly and to avoid
touching the surface of the circuit board, insert it firmly as
far as it will go.
5 Tighten the two fixing screws (M3×6 mm) through the holes
provided for securing the interface in place with a Phillips
head screwdriver.
6 Connecting the RS-232C Cable.
Connect the RS-232C cable to the RS-232C connector.
Recommended cable: 9637 RS-232C Cable
7 Use a PC to communicate with the instrument.

When removing the interface:
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and perform the
above procedure in reverse to remove the interface.

By equipping a measuring instrument with the Z3001 RS-232C
Interface, you can control instrument functionality via an RS232C connection.
Inspection and Maintenance
Inspection
When you receive the device, inspect it carefully to ensure that
no damage occurred during shipping. If damage is evident, or if
it fails to operate according to the specifications, contact your
dealer or Hioki representative.
Preliminary Checks
• Before using the device for the first time, verify that it operates normally to ensure that no damage occurred during storage or shipping. If you find any damage, contact your dealer
or Hioki representative.
Maintenance and Service
• To clean the device, wipe it gently with a soft cloth moistened
with water or mild detergent. Never use solvents such as
benzene, alcohol, acetone, ether, ketones, thinners or gasoline, as they can deform and discolor the case.

• Do not attempt to modify, disassemble or repair the
device; as fire, electric shock and injury could result.
• To avoid electric shock accident, before removing or
replacing an input module, confirm that the instrument
is turned off and that the power cord and connection
cables are disconnected.
• Always turn both devices OFF when connecting and
disconnecting an interface connector. Otherwise, an
electric shock accident may occur.
• The mounting screws must be firmly tightened or the
input module may not perform to specifications, or
may even fail.
• Failure to fasten the connectors properly may result is
sub-specification performance or damage to the
equipment.
• This device is not drip-proof. Water droplets on the grip or
connector may result in malfunctions.
• Do not slant the device or place it on top of an uneven surface. Dropping or knocking down the device can cause injury
or damage to the device.
• To avoid damage to the device, protect it from physical shock
when transporting and handling. Be especially careful to
avoid physical shock from dropping.
• When inserting in the interface, hold the metal plate. Directly
touching the board may cause static electricity and lead to
damage of the instrument. (Using the wrist strap for preventing static electricity when inserting is recommended
