SS9000
1. 仕様の動作環境を満たしていることを確認し、付属のCD-Rを CD-
ROM ドライブに入れます。
2. [\USB\PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller.exe] を実行します。画
面の手順に従ってインストールしてください。
3. SS7012 本体の電源を入れ、SS7012 とコンピュータを付属の
USB ケーブルで接続してください。USB ポートに COM ポート
が自動的に割り当てられます。
4. 通信コマンドなどに関する情報は CD-ROM に含まれている通信
仕様書をご確認ください。また、サンプルプログラムは弊社ホー
ムページからダウンロードできます (http://www.hioki.co.jp/)。
1. デバイスマネージャを開きます。
･ Windows Vista の場合
[ コントロールパネル]-[ システムとメンテナンス]-[ システム ][ デバイスマネージャ ]
･ Windows 2000/XP/7/8 の場合

2. " ポート (COM と LPT)" の項の "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm
Port(COMX)" の "X" が COM ポート番号です。

このたびは、HIOKI SS9000 通信パッケージをご選定いただき、誠
にありがとうございます。この製品を十分にご活用いただき、末長く
ご使用いただくためにも、取扱説明書はていねいに扱い、いつもお手
元に置いてご使用ください。
登録商標について

点検
本器がお手元に届きましたら、輸送中において異常または破損がない
か点検してからご使用ください。特に付属品、およびケーブルに注意
してください。万一、破損あるいは仕様どおり動作しない場合は、お
買上店（代理店）か最寄りの営業所にご連絡ください。
概要
本製品に付属のケーブルと USB ドライバを使用することで、コン
ピュータと SS7012 のシリアル通信を行うことができます。

ご使用にあたっての注意
ご使用の前に下記事項をご確認ください。
･ 本製品 は日置電機株式会社の著作物です。
･ SS7012 とシリアル通信をする目的以外で本製品を一部または全
部を複製、複写、改変することは法律で禁じられております。
･ 本製品は改良のため予告なく変更、バージョンアップすることがあ
ります。
･ 本製品を引用し書籍を刊行する場合、弊社による事前の承諾が必要
です。
また、「HIOKI」の商標の使用はできません。
･ 弊社はいかなる場合においても、お客様が本製品を使用した運用結

CD-R の取り扱いについて
･ ディスクに指紋などの汚れを付けないようにするため、また印刷が
かすれないようにするため、お取り扱いの際は必ずディスクの縁を
持つようにしてください。
･ ディスクの記録面には決して手を触れないようにしてください。ま
た堅いものの上に直接置かないようにしてください。
･ ディスクのレーベル表示が消える可能性がありますので、ディスク
を揮発性アルコールや水にぬらさないようにしてください。
･ ディスクのレーベル面に文字を記入するときは、先がフェルトの油
性ペンをご使用ください。ディスクを傷つけ記録内容を破損する危
険性がありますので、ボールペンやその他の先の堅いペンは使用し
ないでください。また粘着性ラベルも使用しないでください。
･ ディスクがゆがんだり記録内容が破損する危険性がありますので、
直射日光や高温多湿の環境にディスクをさらさないでください。
･ ディスクのシミやホコリ、指紋などを取り除く場合には、柔らかくて
乾いた布または CD クリーナーをお使いください。常に内側から外側
に向けてぬぐうようにし、決して輪を描くようには拭かないでくださ
い。また、研磨剤や溶剤系クリーナーは使用しないでください。
･ この CD-R のご使用にあたってのコンピュータシステム上のトラブ
ル、および製品の購入に際してのトラブルについて、弊社は一切の
責任を負いません。
USB ポートに割り当てられる COM ポート番号は使用されるコン
ピュータによって変わります。以下の方法で割り当てられたCOMポー
ト番号を確認してください。

Warranty
Warranty malfunctions occurring under conditions of normal use in conformity
with the Instruction Manual and Product Precautionary Markings will be
repaired free of charge. This warranty is valid for a period of one (1) year from
the date of purchase. Please contact the distributor from which you purchased the product for further information on warranty provisions.

To obtain maximum performance from the product, please read this manual
first, and keep it handy for future reference.

Inspection
When you receive the product, inspect it carefully to ensure that no damage
occurred during shipping. If damage is evident, or if it fails to operate according to the specifications, contact your dealer or Hioki representative.
Using the USB cable and USB driver of the SS9000 Communica tion Pa ckage
you can perform serial communication between your PC and the SS7012.
Before Using the SS9000, please read these notes carefully.
• HIOKI E.E. CORPORATION is the author of SS9000.
• Except for the purpose of performing serial communication with the
SS7012, copying, reproduction or amendment of SS9000, in whole or in
part is prohibited by law.
• For the purpose of product development, the SS9000 is subject to upgrading without notice.
• To publish material referencing the SS9000, the prior consent of Hioki is
required. The trade mark "HIOKI" may not be used.
• Hioki cannot accept any responsibility whatever for the results of a customers operation of the SS9000.
CD
• Always hold the disc by the edges, so as not to make fingerprints on the
disc or scratch the printing.
• Never touch the recorded side of the disc. Do not place the disc directly on
anything hard.
• Do not wet the disc with volatile alcohol or water, as there is a possibility of
the label printing disappearing.
• To write on the disc label surface, use a spirit-based felt pen. Do not use a
ball-point pen or hard-tipped pen, because there is a danger of scratching
the surface and corrupting the data. Do not use adhesive labels.
• Do not expose the disc directly to the sun's rays, or keep it in conditions of
high temperature or humidity, as there is a danger of warping, with consequent loss of data.
• To remove dirt, dust, or fingerprints from the disc, wipe with a dry cloth, or
use a CD cleaner. Always wipe from the inside to the outside, and do no
wipe with circular movements. Never use abrasives or solvent cleaners.
• Hioki shall not be held liable for any problems with a computer system that
arises from the use of this CD, or for any problem related to the purchase of
a Hioki product.

How to Install and Use
The different COM port number is allocated to USB port depending on the PC.
Follow the procedure shown below to confirm the allocated COM port number.
1. Ensure that your PC’s operating environment meets the above specifica-
tions and insert the CD-R that comes with the SS9000 package into the
CD-ROM drive.
2. Execute [\USB\PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller.exe]. Then follow the
installation instructions appearing on the display.
3. Turn on the power of the SS7012 and connect the SS7012 to your PC by
the USB cable that comes with the SS9000 package. A COM port is allocated to USB port automatically.
4. For the communication commands, please refer to remote operation man-
ual included on the CD-ROM. For the sample program, you can download
from our web site. (http://www.hioki.com/)
