が、より詳細な内容を詳細取扱説明書で説明しています。

• 詳細取扱説明書

PDF 形式「￥3196j_XX.pdf」（XX は版数 ) で供給されています。

• EN50160 用取扱説明書

PDF 形式「￥3196en_e_xx.pdf」(XX は版数 ) で供給されていま
す。（英語版のみ）

• Down96 用取扱説明書

PDF 形式「￥down96_manual_j_XX.pdf」 (XX は版数 ) で供給さ
れています。

すでに Adobe Acrobat reader 4.0 以降のバージョンがセットアッ
プされている場合はそのままご利用になれます。

セットアップされていない場合：

「￥ar505jpn.exe」を実行し、PDF 形式のファイルを読めるようセッ

トアップをしてください。
Adobe Acrobat reader 3.0 以前のバージョンがセットアップされ
ている場合は、一度削除してから、再度セットアップしてください。

ご使用前に

3196 には、詳細取扱説明書、EN50160 用取扱説明書、 Down96 ダ
ウンロードアプリソフト、Down96 用取扱説明書などが入った CD­R（1 枚）が添付されています。
本製品を安全にご使用いただくために、また機能を十分にご活用いた
だくためにも、下記の注意事項をお守りいただきますようお願いいた
します。

• レーベル面に指紋などの汚れを付けないようにするため、また印刷

がかすれないようにするため、お取扱いの際は必ずディスクの縁を
持つようにしてください。

• 記録面には決して手を触れないようにしてください。また、堅いも

のの上に直接置かないようにしてください。

• レーベル表示が消える可能性がありますので、ディスクを揮発性ア

ルコールや水に濡らさないようにしてください。

• レーベル面に文字を記入するときは、先がフェルトの油性ペンをご

使用ください。ディスクを傷つけ記録内容を破損する危険性があり
ますので、ボールペンやその他の先の堅いペンは使用しないでくだ
さい。また、粘着性ラベルも使用しないでください。

• ディスクがゆがんだり記録内容を破損する危険性がありますので、

直射日光や高温多湿の環境にディスクをさらさないでください。

• シミやホ

または CD クリーナーをお使いください。つねに内側から外側に向
けてぬぐうようにし、決して輪を描くようには拭かないでくださ
い。また、研磨剤や溶剤系クリーナーは使用しないでください。

• このCD-R のご使用にあたってのコンピュータシステム上のトラブ

ル、および製品の購入に際してのトラブルについて、弊社は一切の
責任を負いません。

RS-232C（モデム）を介して遠隔地よりダウンロードをするための
ソフトウェアです。
Down96 のインストール方法及び使用方法については、Down96 用
取扱説明書をご覧ください。

このプログラムの実行ファイル及びドキュメントに関する著作権は
日置電機株式会社が所有します。著作権者の許可無しに営利目的ソフ
ト、書籍へのバンドルおよび販売行為はできません。また著作権者の
許可無しに本製品に改造を加える行為もできません。

このプログラムは、フリーソフトです。使用者の責任において自由に

Before Using

The 3196 is supplied with the Quick-Start Manual and CD-R
containing the Instruction manual, Instruction Manual for
EN50160, Down96 Download Software, and Instruction Man­ual for Down96, etc. Consult the In struction Man ual when a
more detailed explanation is necessary.
In order to use this produc t safely, and to take full advantage
of its fea tures, please follow the instructions given here:

Instruction Manual, Instruction Manual for EN50160,
and Down96 Download Program' s Manual:

• Instruction Manual is supplied as a PDF file named
\3196e_XX.pdf, where "XX" is the ver sion number.

• Instruction Manual for EN50160 is sup plied as a PDF
file named \3196en_e_XX.pdf, where "XX" is the ver­sion number.

• Down96 Download Program' s Manual is supplied as
a PDF file named \down96_manual_e_XX.pdf,
where "XX" is the version number.

These manuals can be read directly if you ha ve already set
up the Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 4.0 or later to your
PC.

If this has not been set up yet to your PC:

Execute \ar505enu.exe to perform setup for reading PDF
files.

If Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 3.0 or ear lier, has been set
up to your PC, delete it first and then se t up the Adobe Acr o­bat Reader again.

The latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader can also be
downloaded from Adobe's web site.

• Always hold the disc by the edges, so as not to make
fingerprints on the label side or scratch the printing.

• Never touch the recorded side of the disc. Do not
place the disc directly on anything hard.

• Do not wet the disc with volatile alcohol or water, as
there is a possibility of the label pr inting di sappearing.

• To write on the disc label surface, use a spirit-based
felt pen. Do not use a ball-point pen or hard-tipped
pen, because there is a danger of scratching the sur­face and corrupting the data. Do not use adhesive
labels.

• Do not expose the disc directly to the sun's rays, or
keep it in conditions of high temperature or humidity,
as there is a danger of warping, with consequent loss
of data.

• To remove dirt, dust, or fingerprints from the dis c, wipe
with a dry cloth, or use a CD cleaner. Always wipe
radially from the inside to the outside, and do no wipe
with circular movements. Never use abrasives or sol­vent cleaners.

• HIOKI shall not be held liable for any problems with a
computer system that arises from the use of this CD­R, or for any problem related to the purchase of a
HIOKI product.

3. Down96 Download Program:

It is a PC application pr ogram to downlo ad data captured by
the 3196 to a PC via LAN or the RS-232C (mod em) inte rf ace
connections.
