3169,3169-01には、RS-232C取扱説明書、CSV変換ソフトなど
が入った CD-R（１枚）が添付されています。
本製品を安全にご使用いただくために、また機能を十分にご活用
いただくためにも、下記の注意事項をお守りいただきますようお
願いいたします。
• ディスクに指紋などの汚れを付けないようにするため、また印
刷がかすれないようにするため、お取り扱いの際は必ずディス
クの縁を持つようにしてください。
• ディスクの記録面には決して手を触れないようにしてくださ
い。また堅いものの上に直接置かないようにしてください。
• ディスクのレーベル表示が消える可能性がありますので、ディ
スクを揮発性アルコールや水にぬらさないようにしてくださ
い。
• ディスクのレーベル面に文字を記入するときは、先がフェルト
の油性ペンをご使用ください。ディスクを傷つけ記録内容を破
損する危険性がありますので、ボールペンやその他の先の堅い
ペンは使用しないでください。また粘着性ラベルも使用しない
でください。
• ディスクがゆがんだり記録内容が破損する危険性がありますの
で、直射日光や高温多湿の環境にディスクをさらさないでくだ
さい。
• ディスクのシミやホコリ、指紋などを取り除く場合には、柔ら
かくて乾いた布または CD クリーナーをお使いください。常に
内側から外側に向けてぬぐうようにし、決して輪を描くように
はふかないでください。また、研磨剤や溶剤系クリーナーは使
用しないでください。
• この CD-Rのご使用にあたってのコンピュータシステム上のト
ラブル、および製品の購入に際してのトラブルについて、弊社
は一切の責任を負いません。
CD-R の内容
(1) 取扱説明書の使用方法
3169,3169-01 にはクイックスタートマニュアルと詳細取扱説明
書が冊子で付属されていますが、RS-232C インタフェースに関す
る内容は、RS-232C 取扱説明書をご覧ください。
(2)RS-232C 取扱説明書について
RS-232C 取扱説明書は、PDF 形式
「￥3169RS232CJ_XX.pdf」（XX は版数）で供給されています。
Adobe Reader がインストールされていない場合 :
Adobe Reader は、アドビシステムズ社のホームページからダウ
ンロードできます。

(3) CSV 変換ソフトについて
CSV 変換ソフトは、3169,3169-01 で保存した短時間インターバ
ル測定データファイル、波形データファイルを CSV 形式（表計
算ソフトで読み込める形式）のファイルに変換するためのソフト
です。
•CSV変換ソフトは、「SETUP.EXE」というセットアッププロ
グラムを使用してセットアップします。
• このセットアッププログラムにより、必要なファイルがハード
ディスクにインストールされます。
• セットアッププログラムを実行する前に、起動しているプログ
ラムをすべて終了させてください。
セットアップ方法：
1. CD-R を CD-ROM ドライブにセットします。
2. Windowsの［スタート］−［ファイル名を指定して実行］を選
択します。
3. 「d:￥3169CONV￥JAPANESE￥setup」と入力します。
（CD-ROM ドライブが D 以外に接続されている場合は、d: の部
分をそのドライブに変えてください）
4. ［OK］をクリックすると「SETUP.EXE」が起動します。
5. 画面の指示にしたがってインストールしてください。
6. 正常にセットアップが完了すると、Windowsの
［スタート］メニューの［プログラム］に「3169CSV 変換ソフ
ト」が登録されます。
実行方法：
Windowsの［スタート］メニューから［プログラム］−［3169CSV
変換ソフト］を選択するか、直接「csvconv.exe」を実行してく
ださい。
動作環境：Windows95/98/NT4.0/2000/Me/XP

Provided with the 3169-20/21 is a CD-R containing the RS232C instruction manu al and CSV conversion s oftware. In
order to use this p roduct safely, and to take full adv antage
of its features, please follow the instructions given here:
• Always hold the disc by the edges, so as not to make
fingerprints on the disc or scratch the printing.
• Never touch the recorded s ide of the disc. Do no t place
the disc directly on anything hard.
• Do not wet the disc with volatile alcohol or water, as there
is a possibility of the label printing disappearing.
• To write on the disc label surface, use a sp irit-based felt
pen. Do not use a ball-point pen or hard-tipped pen,
because there is a danger of s cratching the surface and
corrupting the data. Do not use adhesive labels.
• Do not expose the disc directly to the s un's r ays, or keep
it in conditions of high temperature or humidity, as there is
a danger of warping, with consequent loss of data.
• To rem ove dirt, dust, or fingerprints from th e disc, wipe
with a dry cloth, or use a CD cleaner. Always wipe radially
from the inside to the outside, and do no wipe with
circular movements. Never use abrasives or solvent
cleaners.
• Hioki shall not be held liable for any problems with a
computer system that arises from the use of this CD, or
for any problem related to the purchase of a Hioki
product.
CD-R Contents
Guide to Instruction Manuals:
The 3169-20/21 comes with a quick-start manual and an
instruction manual in hard copy. For detailed information on
the RS-232C interface, please refer to the RS-232C
instruction manual.
About the RS-232C Instruction Manual:
The RS-232C instr uction manual is provid ed as a PD F file
(\3169RS232CE_XX.pdf). (XX represents the version
number.)

CSV Conversion Software
The CSV conversion software application is used to
convert short-time interval measurement data files and
waveform data files saved by the 3169-20/21 as CSV
format files (readable by spreadsheet programs).
• The CSV conversion software is installed using the
setup program
• This setup program installs all necessary files on
the hard disk.
• Close all other Windows applications before running the setup program.
Setup Procedure:
Insert the CD-R into the CD-ROM drive.

2. In the Windows "Start" menu, select "Run."
3. Typ e in d:\3169CONV\ENGLISH\setup.
(If your CD-ROM drive is assigned a letter other
than "d:," type that letter instead of "d:".)
4. Click "OK." SETUP.EXE will begin running.
5. Follow the instructions on screen to complete
installation.
6. When installation is complete, "3169 CSV
Conversion Software" will be added to the
"Programs" menu on the "Start" menu.
Startup Procedure:
In the Windows "Start" menu, select "Programs," then
"3169 CSV Conversion Software." (You can also run
csvconv.exe directly.)
