Surface Preparations
Surfaces to be coated with CC410EP must be clean and free of
surface contamination, such as dust, dirt and laitance.Surfaces
may be damp, b ut there m ust be no standing water.
Concrete surfaces may be prepared b y high pressure w ater
cleaning, wire brushing, sand or shot blasting, or acid etching. If
acid etching is chosen, the surface must be thoroughly rinsed
with clear water afterward, to remove all tr aces of m uriatic acid.
Wood surfaces may be prepared by sanding lightly to open the
grain.
Where previously applied coatings are present, in many cases
they may remain in place if desired. The coatings must be firmly
bonded, and a test patch of CC410EP must be applied to determine adhesion.Prior to application of CC410EP, the coating
must be wire brushed or scarified, then cleaned.
Mixing
Combine Part A, Part B and aggregate and mix thoroughly,
using a TE-25 and a Hilti mixing paddle.
Application
