2 Sicherheitshinweise

2.1 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

ACHTUNG! Sämtliche Anweisungen sind zu lesen. Fehler bei der

Einhaltung der nachstehend aufgeführten Anweisungen können elektrischen
Schlag, Brand und/oder schwere Verletzungen verursachen. BEWAHREN

SIE DIESE ANWEISUNGEN GUT AUF.

2.1.1 Arbeitsplatz

a) Sorgen Sie für gute Beleuchtung des Arbeitsbereichs.
b) Manipulationen oder Veränderungen am Gerät sind nicht erlaubt.
c) Das Gerät ist nicht für die Befestigung an der Wand vorgesehen.
d) Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich sauber und aufgeräumt. Unordnung

und unbeleuchtete Arbeitsbereiche können zu Unfällen führen.

e) Arbeiten Sie mit dem Gerät nicht in explosionsgefährdeter Umge-

bung, in der sich brennbare Flüssigkeiten, Gase oder Stäube be­finden. Ladegeräte können Funken erzeugen, die den Staub oder die

Dämpfe entzünden können.

f) Halten Sie Kinder und andere Personen während der Benutzung des

Ladegerätes fern.

g) Sichern Sie das C4/36DC Ladegerät immer gegen Verrutschen im

Fahrzeug.

2.1.2 Elektrische Sicherheit

a) Der Anschlussstecker des Geräts muss in die Steckdose passen.

Der Stecker darf in keiner Weise verändert werden. Unveränderte

Stecker und passende Steckdosen verringern das Risiko eines elektri­schen Schlags.

b) Vermeiden Sie Körperkontakt mit geerdeten Oberflächen, wie von

Rohren, Heizungen, Herden und Kühlschränken. Es besteht ein
erhöhtes Risiko durch elektrischen Schlag, wenn Ihr Körper geerdet ist.

c) Zweckentfremden Sie das Kabel nicht, um das Gerät zu tragen,

aufzuhängen oder um den Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.
Halten Sie das Kabel fern von Hitze, Öl, scharfen Kanten oder

sich bewegenden Geräteteilen. Beschädigte oder verwickelte Kabel
erhöhen das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlags.

d) Verwenden Sie das Ladegerät nur in trockener Umgebung. Das

Eindringen von Wasser in ein Elektrogerät erhöht das Risiko eines
elektrischen Schlags.

e) Wird bei der Arbeit das Netz- oder Verlängerungskabel beschädigt,

dürfen Sie das Kabel nicht berühren. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose. Beschädigte Anschlussleitungen und Verlänge-

rungsleitungen stellen eine Gefährdung durch elektrischen Schlag dar.

f) Betreiben Siedas Gerät nie in verschmutztem oder nassem Zustand.

An der Geräteoberfläche haftender Staub, vor allem von leitfähigen
Materialien, oder Feuchtigkeit können unter ungünstigen Bedingungen
zu elektrischem Schlag führen. Lassen Sie daher, vor allem wenn
häufig leitfähige Materialien bearbeitet werden, verschmutzte Geräte in
regelmässigen Abständen vom Hilti Service überprüfen.

g) Das Ladegerät C 4⁄36DC darf nicht mit Verlängerungskabel ver-

wendet werden. Es besteht Brandgefahr.

2.1.3 Sicherheit von Personen

a) Tragen Sie keinen Schmuck, wie Ringe oder Ketten. Der Schmuck

könnte einen Kurzschluss verusachen und zu Verbrennungen führen.

b) Sorgen Sie für einen sicheren Stand des Ladegeräts. Ein herunterfal-

lender Akku oder Ladegerät kann Sie und / oder Andere gefährden.

c) Vermeiden Sie die Berührung der Kontakte.
d) Am Ende ihrer Lebensdauer müssen die Akkus umweltgerecht und

sicher entsorgt werden.

e) Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von

Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn
sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-
Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt
werden.

f) Kinder sollten unterwiesen sein, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen

dürfen.

2.1.4 Sorgfältiger Umgang und Gebrauch von Ladegeräten

a) Laden Sie mit dem Ladegerät nur zugelassene Hilti Akkus.
b) Pflegen Sie das Gerät mit Sorgfalt. Kontrollieren Sie, ob Teile

gebrochen oder so beschädigt sind, dass die Funktion des Geräts

beeinträchtigt ist. Lassen Sie beschädigte Teile vor dem Einsatz
des Geräts reparieren.

c) Verwenden Sie Ladegeräte und dazugehörige Akkus entsprechend

diesen Anweisungen und so, wie es für diesen speziellen Gerätetyp
vorgeschrieben ist. Der Gebrauch von Ladegeräten für andere als die

vorgesehenen Anwendungen kann zu gefährlichen Situationen führen.

d) Bei Austausch der Sicherung im Zigarettenanzünderstecker verwenden

Sie ausschliesslich den verbauten Typ (5x20 mm⁄ 250 V⁄ 8A).

e) Laden Sie die Akkus nur in Ladegeräten auf, die vom Hersteller

empfohlen werden. Für ein Ladegerät, das für eine bestimmte Art von
Akkus geeignet ist, besteht Brandgefahr, wenn es mit anderen Akkus
verwendet wird.

f) Halten Sie den nicht benutzten Akku oder das Ladegerät fern

von Büroklammern, Münzen, Schlüsseln, Nägeln, Schrauben oder
anderen kleinen Metallgegenständen, die eine Überbrückung der
Akku oder Ladekontakte verursachen könnten. Ein Kurzschluss

zwischen den Akku oder Ladekontakten kann Verbrennungen oder
Feuer zur Folge haben.

g) Bei falscher Anwendung kann Flüssigkeit aus dem Akku austreten.

Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt damit. Bei zufälligem Kontakt mit
Wasser abspülen. Wenn die Flüssigkeit in die Augen kommt,
nehmen Sie zusätzlich ärztliche Hilfe in Anspruch. Austretende

Akkuflüssigkeit kann zu Hautreizungen oder Verbrennungen führen.

h) Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Akkus nicht mechanisch beschädigt

werden.

i) Beschädigte Akkus (zum Beispiel Akkus mit Rissen, gebrochenen

Teilen, verbogenen, zurückgestossenen und/oder herausgezoge­nen Kontakten) dürfen weder geladen noch weiter verwendet wer­den.

2.1.5 Service

Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät nur von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal und nur
mit OriginalErsatzteilen reparieren. Damit wird sichergestellt, dass die

Sicherheit des Geräts erhalten bleibt.

3 Beschreibung

3.1 Bestimmungsgemässe Verwendung

Das Gerät dient zum Laden der Hilti Lithium Ionen Akkus mit Nennspannung
von7,2bis36Volt.

Die Ladegeräte C 4/36-90 und C 4⁄36350 sind bestimmt für den Anschluss
an 100 bis 240 Volt Wechselspannung (je nach nationaler Ausführung)
Steckdosen.

Das Ladegerät C 4/36-DC ist bestimmt für den Anschluss an eine Zigaret­tenanzündersteckdose mit 12 bzw. 24 Volt Gleichstrom.

Folgende Akkus sind für diese Ladegeräte zugelassen: B 12/2.6 LiIon mit
seinem CA-B12 Adapter, B 14/1.6 LiIon, B 14/3.3 LiIon, B 22/1.6 LiIon,
B 22/2.6 (01) LiIon, B 22/2.6 (02) LiIon, B 22/3.3 LiIon, B 22/5.2 (01) LiIon,
B 36/3.0 LiIon, B 36/3.9 LiIon, B 36/6.0 LiIon.

Beachten Sie die nationalen Arbeitsschutzanforderungen.
Befolgen Sie auch die Sicherheits- und Bedienungshinweise des verwende-

ten Zubehörs.
Verwenden Sie, um Gefahren zu vermeiden nur zugelassene Akkus.
Benutzen Sie die Akkus nicht als Energiequelle für andere nicht spezifizierte

Verbraucher.
Das Gerät ist für den professionellen Benutzer bestimmt und darf nur von

autorisiertem, eingewiesenem Personal bedient, gewartet und instand ge­halten werden. Dieses Personal muss speziell über die auftretenden Gefah­ren unterrichtet sein. Vom Gerät und seinen Hilfsmitteln können Gefahren
ausgehen, wenn sie von unausgebildetem Personal unsachgemäss behan­delt oder nicht bestimmungsgemäss verwendet werden.

Der Betrieb darf nur mit der auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Netzspan­nung und –frequenz erfolgen.

5 Inbetriebnahme

5.1 Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur an einem geeigneten Standort

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur innerhalb trockener Umgebung.
DerStandortdesGerätssoll,sauberundkühl,aberfrostfreisein.
Während des Ladevorgangs muss das Gerät Wärme abgeben können,

deshalb müssen die Lüftungsschlitze frei sein.
Nehmen Sie dafür das Ladegerät aus dem Gerätekoffer.
Nicht in einem geschlossenen Behälter laden.

Verwenden Sie das C4/36-DC Ladegerät nur an belüfteten, schattigen,
sauberen Standorten im Fahrzeug.

5.2 Gerät einschalten

Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Steckdose.

HINWEIS

Nach Einstecken des Gerätes leuchtet die grüne Lampe.

5.3 C4/36DC Ladegerät einschalten

HINWEIS

Beim Laden der Hilti Akkus mit dem C4/36-DC Ladegerät kann die Star­terbatterie des Fahrzeugs soweit entladen werden, dass sie ihre Funktion
verliert.

HINWEIS

Je nachdem wie das Fahrzeug arbeitet, wird das Ladegerät entweder sofort
versorgt oder nachdem die Zündung eingeschaltet ist.

Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in die Zigarettenanzündersteckdose.

HINWEIS

Nach Einstecken des Gerätes leuchtet die grüne Lampe bei korrekter
Eingangsspannung dauerhaft.

6 Bedienung

6.1 Akku einsetzen und laden 3

VORSICHT
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Aussenflächen des Akkus sauber und
trocken sind bevor Sie es in das Ladegerät einsetzen. Beachten Sie die
Bedienungsanleitung des Ladegeräts.

VORSICHT

Nicht zugelassene Akkus dürfen nicht geladen werden. Es kann sonst zu
Personenschäden, Feuer, Brand und Zerstörung des Akkus und Ladegeräts
führen.

HINWEIS

Prüfen Sie vor dem Einsetzen der Akkus ins Ladegerät, dass die Kontakte
sauber und fettfrei sind.

Schieben Sie den Akku in die vorgesehene Schnittstelle.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Geometrie/Kodierung von Akku und Schnittstelle

übereinstimmen.
Nach Einrasten des Akkus im Ladegerät startet der Ladevorgang automa-

tisch!

HINWEIS

– Der Akku nimmt keinen Schaden, auch wenn es über eine lange Zeit im

Ladegerät verbleibt. In diesem Fall ist es erforderlich, dass sich das
Ladegerät im Betriebszustand befindet (grüne LED des Ladegeräts
leuchtet). Ist der Akku vollgeladen, erlischt nach einiger Zeit die
Ladezustandsanzeige. Um diese wieder aktivieren zu können, muss der
Akku vom Ladegerät genommen werden. Aus Sicherheitsgründen wird
empfohlen, nach Beendung eines Ladevorgangs den Akku aus dem
Ladegerät zu entnehmen.

– LiIonen Akkus sind zu jeder Zeit einsatzbereit, auch im teilgeladenen

Zustand. Der Ladefortschritt wird ihnen durch die LED`s angezeigt.

6.2 Akku entfernen 4

1. Drücken Sie den einen oder beide Entriegelungsknöpfe.

2. Ziehen Sie den Akku nach hinten aus dem Gerät.

6.3 Pflege der LiIonen Akkus

Vermeiden Sie das Eindringen von Feuchtigkeit.
Um die maximale Lebensdauer der Akkus zu erreichen, beenden Sie die

Entladung sobald die Akku-Leistung deutlich nachlässt.

HINWEIS

Bei weiterem Betrieb wird die Entladung automatisch beendet, bevor es zu
einer Schädigung der Zellen kommen kann.

Laden Sie die Akkus mit den zugelassenen Ladegeräten von Hilti für
LiIonen-Akkus auf.

HINWEIS

– Ein Auffrischen der Akkus wie bei NiCd- oder NiMH-Akkus ist nicht

nötig.

– Eine Unterbrechung des Ladevorgangs beeinträchtigt die Lebensdauer

der Akkus nicht.

– Der Ladevorgang kann jederzeit ohne Beeinträchtigung auf die

Lebensdauer gestartet werden. Einen Memory-Effekt wie bei NiCd­oder NiMH-Akkus gibt es nicht.

– Die Akkus werden am besten im vollständig geladenen Zustand

möglichst kühl und trocken gelagert. Die Lagerung der Akkus
bei hohen Umgebungstemperaturen (hinter Fensterscheiben) ist
ungünstig, beeinträchtigt die Lebensdauer der Akkus und erhöht die
Selbstentladerate der Zellen.

– Wird der Akku nicht mehr vollständig geladen, hat er durch Alterung

oder Überbeanspruchung an Kapazität verloren. Ein Arbeiten mit

diesem Akku ist noch möglich. Sie sollten den Akku jedoch bald durch
einen neuen ersetzen.

6.4 Anzeigeelemente am Ladegerät

6.5 Anzeigeelemente am Akku 2

6.5.1 Anzeige des Ladevorgangs

Leuchtet die grüne Lampe am Ladegerät als Dauerlicht, zeigt das Blinken
einer Lampe am Akku den Ladevorgang an.

6.5.2 Anzeige der Über / Untertemperatur

Ist der Akku zu heiss oder zu kalt wird dies durch Blinken der grüne Lampe
am Ladegerät angezeigt. Die LEDs am Akku zeigen dabei den Ladezustand
des LiIonen Akkus an.

6.5.3 Anzeige defekter Akku

Leuchtet die grüne Lampe am Ladegerät als Dauerlicht und alle Lampen
am Akku sind aus, ziehen Sie den Akku aus dem Ladegerät. Bleiben die

Lampen nach Aktivierung der Ladezustandanzeige am Akku aus, ist der
Akku defekt. Lassen Sie den Akku im Hilti Center überprüfen.

7 Pflege und Instandhaltung

VORSICHT
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.

WARNUNG
Reparaturen an elektrischen Teilen und der Austausch des Netzkabels
dürfen nur durch eine Elektrofachkraft ausgeführt werden.

7.1 Pflege des Geräts

VORSICHT
Halten Sie das Gerät, insbesondere die Griffflächen trocken, sauber und
frei von Öl und Fett. Verwenden Sie keine silikonhaltigen Pflegemittel.

Betreiben Sie das Gerät nie mit verstopften Lüftungsschlitzen! Reinigen Sie
die Lüftungsschlitze vorsichtig mit einer trockenen Bürste. Verhindern Sie
das Eindringen von Fremdkörpern in das Innere des Geräts. Reinigen Sie die
Geräteaussenseite regelmässig mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Putzlappen.
Verwenden Sie kein Sprühgerät, Dampfstrahlgerät oder fliessendes Wasser
zur Reinigung! Die elektrische Sicherheit des Geräts kann dadurch gefährdet
werden.

8Entsorgung

GEFAHR

Bei unsachgemässem Entsorgen der Ausrüstung können folgende Ereig­nisse eintreten:

Beim Verbrennen von Kunststoffteilen entstehen giftige Abgase, an denen
Personen erkranken können.

Batterien können explodieren und dabei Vergiftungen, Verbrennungen,
Verätzungen oder Umweltverschmutzung verursachen, wenn sie beschädigt
oder stark erwärmt werden.

Bei leichtfertigem Entsorgen ermöglichen Sie unberechtigten Personen, die
Ausrüstung sachwidrig zu verwenden. Dabei können Sie sich und Dritte
schwer verletzen sowie die Umwelt verschmutzen.

VORSICHT

Entsorgen Sie defekte Akkus unverzüglich. Halten Sie diese von Kindern
fern. Zerlegen Sie Akkus nicht und verbrennen Sie diese nicht.

VORSICHT

Entsorgen Sie die Akkus nach den nationalen Vorschriften oder geben Sie
ausgediente Akkus zurück an Hilti.

Hilti-Geräte sind zu einem hohen Anteil aus wiederverwertbaren Materialien
hergestellt. Voraussetzung für eine Wiederverwertung ist eine sachgemässe
Stofftrennung. In vielen Ländern ist Hilti bereits eingerichtet, Ihr Altgerät
zur Verwertung zurückzunehmen. Fragen Sie den Hilti Kundenservice oder
Ihren Verkaufsberater.

2 Safety instructions

2.1 General safety rules

WARNING! Read all instructions! Failure to follow all instructions listed
below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. SAVE THESE
INSTRUCTIONS!

2.1.1 Work area safety

a) Ensure that the workplace is well lit.
b) Modification of the machine or tampering with its parts is not

permissible.

c) The appliance is not intended for wall mounting.
d) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite

accidents.

e) Do not operate the appliance in explosive atmospheres, such as

in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Chargers can
cause sparks which may ignite dust or fumes.

f) Keep children and other persons away from the area while the

charger is in use.

g) Always secure the C4/36DC charger to prevent it sliding about in

the vehicle.

2.1.2 Electrical safety

a) The plug on the supply cord of the power tool or appliance must

match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Unmodified

plugs and matching outlets reduce risk of electric shock.

b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as

pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk
of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.

c) Do not abuse the supply cord. Never use the supply cord to carry,

pull or unplug the appliance. Keep the cord away from heat, oil,
sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase

the risk of electric shock.

d) Use the charger only in a dry environment. Water entering an electric

appliance increases the risk of electric shock.

e) Do not touch the supply cord or extension cord if they are damaged

while working. Disconnect the supply cord plug from the power
outlet. Damaged supply cords or extension cords present a risk of

electric shock.

f) Never operate the appliance when it is dirty or wet. Dust (especially

dust from conductive materials) or dampness adhering to the surface of
the appliance may, under unfavorable conditions, lead to electric shock.
Dirty or dusty appliances should thus be checked at a Hilti service
center at regular intervals, especially if used frequently for working on
conductive materials.

g) Do not use an extension cord with the C 4⁄36DC charger. This

presents a risk of fire.

2.1.3 Personal safety

a) Do not wear jewelry such as rings or chains. Jewelry could cause a

short circuit and personal injury in the form of burns.

b) Take care to ensure that the charger is standing in a steady, secure

position. A falling battery or charger may present a risk of injury to
yourself and / or others.

c) Avoid touching the contacts.
d) Batteries that have reached the end of their life must be disposed

of safely and correctly to avoid environmental pollution.

e) This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil-

dren) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given super­vision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.

f) Children must be instructed not to play with the appliance.

2.1.4 Battery charger use and care

a) Use the charger only to charge the specified Hilti batteries.
b) Maintain the appliance carefully. Check to ensure that no parts are

broken or damaged in such a way that the appliance can no longer
function correctly. If damaged, have the appliance repaired before
use.

c) Use chargers and the corresponding batteries in accordance with

these instructions and as is specified for this particular model. Use

of chargers for applications different from those intended could result in
hazardous situations.

d) When replacing the fuse in the cigarette lighter plug connector, use only

areplacementfuseofthesametypeastheoriginalfuse(5x20mm⁄
250 V⁄ 8A).

e) Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.A

f) When not in use, keep the battery and the charger away from paper

clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that
could cause a short circuit at the battery terminals or the charging
contacts. A short circuit at the battery terminals or charging contacts

could result in personal injury (burns) or fire.

g) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery,

Avoid contact with the liquid. If contact accidentally occurs, flush
with water. If the liquid comes into contact with the eyes also consult
a doctor. Liquids ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

h) Make sure that the batteries suffer no mechanical damage.
i) Do not charge or continue to use damaged batteries (e.g. batteries

with cracks, broken parts, bent or pushed-in and/or pulled-out
contacts).

2.1.5 Service

Have the appliance serviced by a qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the appliance

is maintained.

3 Description

3.1 Use of the product as directed

The appliance is designed to charge Hilti Li-ion batteries with a rated voltage
of7.2to36volts.

The C 4/36-90 and C 4⁄36350 chargers are designed to be connected to
a power outlet providing an AC voltage of 100 to 240 volts (depending on
country-specific version).

The C 4/36-DC charger is designed to be connected to a motor vehicle’s
cigarette lighter socket providing a DC voltage of 12 or 24 volts.

The following batteries are approved for use with these chargers: B 12/2.6
LiIon with the CA-B12 adapter, B 14/1.6 LiIon, B 14/3.3 LiIon, B 22/1.6
LiIon, B 22/2.6 (01) LiIon, B 22/2.6 (02) LiIon, B 22/3.3 LiIon, B 22/5.2
(01) LiIon, B 36/3.0 LiIon, B 36/3.9 LiIon, B 36/6.0 LiIon.

Observe the national health and safety requirements.
Observe the safety precautions and operating instructions for the accessor-

ies used.
To avoid risks, use only the specified batteries.
Do not use the battery as a power source for other unspecified appliances.

The appliance is designed for professional use and may be operated,
serviced and maintained only by trained, authorized personnel. This
personnel must be informed of any special hazards that may be encountered.
The appliance and its ancillary equipment may present hazards when used

5Beforeuse

5.1 Use the appliance only at a suitable location.

Use the appliance only in a dry environment.
The location at which the appliance is used should be clean and cool but

protected from frost.
The appliance must be able to emit heat while in operation. The ventilation

slots must therefore remain unobstructed.
Accordingly, remove the charger from the toolbox.
Do not operate the charger inside a closed container.

Use the C4/36DC charger only in a clean, well-ventilated area of the
vehicle where it is shaded from the sun.

5.2 Switching the appliance on

Plug the supply cord into the power outlet.

NOTE

The green LED lights after the appliance has been plugged in.

5.3 Switching on the C4/36DC charger

NOTE

When charging a Hilti battery with the C4/36-DC charger, the motor vehicle’s
starter battery may become discharged to such an extent that it no longer
functions (i.e. the vehicle won’t start).

NOTE

Depending on how the motor vehicle’s electrical system is configured, the
charger will either receive power immediately or only after the ignition is
switched on.

Plug the supply cord into the motor vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.

6 Operation

6.1 Inserting and charging the battery 3

CAUTION
Make sure that the outer surfaces of the battery are clean and dry
before inserting it in the charger. Observe the operating instructions
for the charger.

CAUTION

Do not use the charger to charge other, unspecified batteries. A risk of
personal injury or fire and irreparable damage to the battery and charger
may otherwise result.

NOTE

Before inserting the battery, check that the contacts are clean and free from
grease.

Push the battery into the interface provided.
Check that the battery and charger interfaces match (keyed fit).
Charging begins automatically after insertion of the battery in the charger.

NOTE

– The battery will suffer no damage even when left in the charger for long

periods. In this case it is necessary that the charger is operating (green
LED on the charger must be lit). When the battery is fully charged,
the charge status display will go out after some time. To reactivate
thedisplaythebatterymustfirstberemovedfromthecharger.For
safety reasons it is recommended that the battery is removed from the
charger after completion of the charging cycle.

– Liion batteries are ready for use at any time, even when only partly

charged. Charging progress is indicated by the LEDs.

6.2 Removing the battery 4

1. Press one or both release buttons.

2. Pull the battery out of the power tool to the rear.

6.3 Care of the Liion battery

Do not allow moisture to enter the device.
In order to achieve maximum battery life, stop drawing power from the

battery as soon as a significant drop in battery performance is noticed.

NOTE

If use continues, further battery discharge will be stopped automatically
before the battery cells suffer damage.

Charge the batteries with the Hilti chargers approved for use with Li-ion
batteries.

NOTE

– A conditioning charge (as is required with NiCd or NiMH batteries) is

not necessary.

– Interruption of the charging procedure has no negative effect on

battery life.

– Charging can be started at any time with no negative effect on battery

life. There is no memory effect (as with NiCd or NiMH batteries).

– For best results, batteries should be stored fully charged in a cool

dry place. Storing the battery in places subject to high ambient
temperatures (e.g. at a window) has an adverse effect on battery life
and increases the rate of self-discharge.

– If the battery no longer reaches full charge, it may have lost capacity

due to aging or overstressing. It is still possible to work with this
battery. You should, however, soon replace the battery with a new one.

6.4 LED display on the charger

6.5 LED display on the battery 2

6.5.1 Charging indicators

When the green LED on the charger lights constantly, a blinking LED on the
battery indicates that charging is taking place.

6.5.2 Indication of too high / too low temperature

If the battery is too hot or too cold, the green LED on the charger will blink to
indicate this. At the same time, the LEDs on the battery indicate the charge
status of the Liion battery.

6.5.3 Indication of a defective battery

When the green LED on the charger lights constantly and no LED on the
battery lights, the battery should be removed from the charger. If no LED
lights on the battery after activation of the charge status indicator, the
battery is defective. Have the battery tested at a Hilti center.

7 Care and maintenance

CAUTION
Disconnect the supply cord plug from the power outlet.

WARNING
Repairs to electrical parts and replacement of the supply cord may be
carried out only by trained electrical specialists.

7.1 Care of the appliance

CAUTION
Keep the appliance, especially its grip surfaces, clean and free from oil
and grease. Do not use cleaning agents which contain silicone.

Never operate the appliance when the ventilation slots are blocked. Clean
the ventilation slots carefully using a dry brush. Do not permit foreign
objects to enter the interior of the appliance. Clean the outside of the
appliance at regular intervals with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use a spray,
steam pressure cleaning equipment or running water for cleaning. This may
negatively affect the electrical safety of the appliance.

8Disposal

DANGER

Improper disposal of the equipment may have serious consequences:
The burning of plastic components generates toxic fumes which may present

a health hazard.
Batteries may explode if damaged or exposed to very high temperatures,

causing poisoning, burns, acid burns or environmental pollution.
Careless disposal may permit unauthorized and improper use of the equip-

ment. This may result in serious personal injury, injury to third parties and
pollution of the environment.

CAUTION

Dispose of defective batteries right away. Keep them out of reach of
children. Do not disassemble or incinerate the batteries.

CAUTION

Batteries that have reached the end of their life must be disposed of in
accordance with national regulations or returned to Hilti.

Most of the materials from which Hilti tools or appliances are manufactured
can be recycled. The materials must be correctly separated before they
can be recycled. In many countries, Hilti has already made arrangements
for taking back old tools and appliances for recycling. Ask Hilti customer
service or your Hilti representative for further information.

Disposal of electric tools or appliances together with household

waste is not permissible.
In observance of the European Directive on waste electrical

and electronic equipment and its implementation in accordance
with national law, electrical appliances that have reached the
end of their life must be collected separately and returned to an
environmentally compatible recycling facility.

2.1 Consignes générales de sécurité

ATTENTION ! Lire toutes les indications. Le non-respect des instructions

indiquées ci-après peut entraîner un choc électrique, un incendie et / ou

INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ.

2.1.1 Place de travail

a) Veiller à ce que l'espace de travail soit bien éclairé.
b) Toute manipulation ou modification de l'appareil est interdite.
c) L'appareil n'est pas conçu pour une fixation sur une paroi.
d) Maintenir l’espace de travail propre et rangé. Un espace de travail en

désordre ou mal éclairé augmente le risque d’accidents.

e) Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans un environnement présentant des

risques d’explosion et où se trouvent des liquides, des gaz ou
poussières inflammables. Les chargeurs génèrent des étincelles

risquant d’enflammer les poussières ou les vapeurs.

g) Toujours sécuriser le chargeur C4/36DC pour qu'il ne puisse pas

glisser dans le véhicule.

2.1.2 Sécurité relative au système électrique

a) La fiche de secteur de l’outil électroportatif doit être appropriée à

la prise de courant. Ne modifier en aucun cas la fiche. Les fiches

non modifiées et les prises de courant appropriées réduisent le risque
de choc électrique.

b)

Éviter les contacts du corps avec des surfaces mises à la terre telles
que tuyau, chauffage, four et réfrigérateur. Le risque d'électrocution

est accru si votre corps est relié à la terre

c) Ne pas utiliser le câble à d’autres fins que celles prévues, ne pas

utiliser le câble pour porter l’appareil ou pour l’accrocher ou encore
pour le débrancher de la prise de courant. Tenir le câble éloigné
de la chaleur, de l'huile, d'arêtes pointues ou de pièces mobiles de

d) Utiliser le chargeur seulement dans un environnement sec. Le risque

d'électrocution est accru si de l'eau pénètre dans l'appareil électrique.

e) Si le câble d'alimentation réseau ou de rallonge est endommagé

pendant le travail, ne pas le toucher. Débrancher la fiche de la
prise. Les cordons d'alimentation et câbles de rallonge endommagés

représentent un danger d'électrocution.

g) Le chargeur C 4⁄36DC ne doit pas être utilisé avec un câble de

rallonge. Il y a risque d'incendie.

2.1.3 Sécurité des personnes

a) Ne pas porter de bijoux tels que des bagues ou chaînes. Les bijoux

risquent de provoquer un court-circuit et d'entraîner des brûlures.

b) Veiller à la stabilité du chargeur. Toute chute de l'accu ou du chargeur

peut mettre l'opérateur et / ou des tierces personnes en danger.

Éviter de toucher les contacts.

d) Une fois arrivés au terme de leur durée de service, les accus doivent

être éliminés conformément à la réglementation en vigueur et en
toute sécurité.

e) Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants à partir de 8 ans, ainsi

que par des personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles
ou mentales limitées ou n'ayant pas suffisamment d'expérience ou
de connaissances, à condition d'être sous surveillance ou d'avoir été
instruits quant à l'utilisation en toute sécurité de l'appareil et qu'ils
comprennent les dangers potentiels qui peuvent en résulter. Veiller
à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec l'appareil. Le nettoyage et
l'entretien utilisateur ne doivent pas être effectués par des enfants
sans surveillance.

f) Avertir les enfants et veiller à ce qu'ils ne jouent pas avec l'appareil.

2.1.4 Utilisation et emploi soigneux des chargeurs

a) Charger uniquement les accus Hilti homologués à l'aide des char-

geurs.

b) Entretenir soigneusement l'appareil. Vérifier que le fonctionnement

de l'appareil ne soit pas entravé par des pièces cassées ou endom-

magées. Faire réparer les parties endommagées avant d’utiliser
l’appareil.

c) Utiliser les chargeurs et les accus correspondants conformément

aux présentes instructions et comme indiqué pour ce type d'appareil
spécifique. L’utilisation des chargeurs à d’autres fins que celles

prévues peut entraîner des situations dangereuses.

d) En cas de remplacement du fusible dans la fiche allume-cigare, utiliser

exclusivement le type respectif (5x20 mm⁄ 250 V⁄ 8A).

e) Ne charger les blocs-accus que dans des chargeurs recommandés

par le fabricant. Si un chargeur approprié à un type spécifique
d’accumulateurs est utilisé avec des blocs-accus non recommandés
pour celui-ci, il y a risque d'incendie.

f) Tenir l'accu ou le chargeur non utilisé à l’écart de tous objets

métalliques tels que les agrafes, pièces de monnaie, clés, clous, vis
ou autres, qui peuvent provoquer un pontage des contacts de l'accu
ou du chargeur ou un court-circuit. Un court-circuit entre les contacts

de l'accu ou du chargeur peut provoquer des brûlures ou un incendie.

g)

En cas d’utilisation abusive, du liquide peut sortir du bloc-accu. Évi­ter tout contact avec ce liquide. En cas de contact par inadvertance,
rincer soigneusement avec de l’eau. Au cas où le liquide rentrerait
dans les yeux, consulter en plus un médecin. Le liquide qui sort du

bloc-accu peut entraîner des irritations de la peau ou causer des brûlures.

h) Veiller à ce que les accus ne soient pas mécaniquement endomma-

gés.

i) Les accus endommagés (par exemple des accus fissurés, dont

certaines pièces sont cassées, dont les contacts sont déformés,
rentrés et / ou sortis) ne doivent plus être chargés ni utilisés.

2.1.5 Service

Ne faire réparer l'outil électroportatif que par un personnel qualifié et
seulement avec des pièces de rechange d’origine. Ceci permet d’assurer

la sécurité de l’appareil.

3 Description

3.1 Utilisation conforme à l'usage prévu

L'appareil sert à charger les accus Li-Ion Hilti de tension nominale de 7,2 à
36 volts.

Les chargeurs C 4/36-90 et C 4⁄36350 sont conçus pour être raccordés à
desprisesde100à240volts(selonlaversion nationale) de courant alternatif.

Le chargeur C 4/36-DC est conçu pour être raccordé à la prise de l'allume­cigare de 12 resp. 24 volts de courant continu.

5 Mise en service

5.1 Utiliser l’appareil uniquement dans un endroit approprié.

Utiliser l’appareil uniquement dans un environnement sec.
Le chargeur doit se trouver dans un endroit propre et frais, mais à l’abri du

gel.
Pendant le processus de charge, l'appareil doit pouvoir libérer de la chaleur,

c'est la raison pour laquelle les ouïes d'aération doivent être dégagées.
À cet effet, sortir le chargeur du coffret.
Ne pas le charger dans un récipient fermé.

Dans le véhicule, utiliser le chargeur C4/36-DC uniquement dans des
endroits bien ventilés, ombragés et propres.

5.2 Miseenmarchedel'appareil

Brancher la fiche dans la prise.

REMARQUE

Après avoir branché l'appareil, le témoin vert s'allume.

5.3 Mise en marche du chargeur C4/36DC

REMARQUE

Lors de la charge de l'accu Hilti avec le chargeur C4/36-DC, la batterie de
démarrage du véhicule peut être déchargée au point d'être inopérationnelle.

REMARQUE

Selon le mode de fonctionnement du véhicule, le chargeur est alimenté, soit
immédiatement, soit après l'allumage seulement.

Brancher la fiche d'alimentation dans la prise de l'allume-cigare.

REMARQUE

Après avoir branché l'appareil, le témoin vert s'allume en continu si la tension
d'entrée est correcte.

6 Utilisation

6.1 Insertion et charge de l'accu 3

ATTENTION
Vérifier que les surfaces extérieures de l'accu sont propres et sèches
avant de l'insérer dans le chargeur. Respecter les instructions du mode
d'emploi du chargeur.

ATTENTION

Ne pas charger d'accus non homologués. Si tel est le cas, il y a risque de
blessures corporelles, de feu, d'incendie et de détériorations de l'accu et du
chargeur.

REMARQUE

Avant d'insérer l'accu dans le chargeur, vérifier que les contacts sont
propres et exempts de graisse.

Faire glisser l'accu dans l'interface prévue à cet effet.
Veiller à ce que la forme/le codage de l'accu et du logement correspondent.
Une fois l'accu encliqueté dans le chargeur, le processus de charge démarre

automatiquement !

REMARQUE

– L'accu ne s’abîme pas, même s’il reste longtemps dans le chargeur.

Dans ce cas, il est nécessaire que le chargeur se trouve en état de
marche (LED verte du chargeur allumée). Si l'accu est complètement
chargé, l'indicateur de l'état de charge s'éteint après un certain temps.
Pour le réactiver, l'accu doit être retiré du chargeur. Pour des raisons
de sécurité, il est recommandé de sortir l'accu du chargeur une fois le
processus de charge terminé.

– Les accus LiIon sont toujours prêts à l'emploi, même lorsqu'ils sont

partiellement chargés. La progression du processus de charge est
indiquée par le biais de LEDs.

6.2 Retrait de l'accu 4

1. Appuyer sur l'un des boutons de déverrouillage ou les deux.

2. Extraire l'accu de l'appareil vers l'arrière.

6.3 Entretien des accus Liion

Éviter toute pénétration d'humidité.
Pour que les accus atteignent leur longévité maximale, terminer la décharge

dès que la puissance de l'accu diminue nettement.

REMARQUE

En cas de prolongation de l'utilisation, la décharge s'arrête automatiquement
avant que les cellules ne risquent d'être endommagées.

Charger les accus à l'aide des chargeurs homologués par Hilti pour les
accus Liion.

REMARQUE

– Contrairement aux accus NiCd ou NiMH, une recharge de régénération

des accus n'est pas nécessaire.

– Une interruption du processus de charge ne réduit pas la longévité de

l'accu.

– Le processus de charge peut à tout moment être démarré sans réduire

la longévité. Il n'y a pas d'effet mémoire comme pour les accus NiCd
ou NiMH.

– Les accus seront de préférence stockés complètement chargés et, si

possible, dans un endroit sec et frais. Le stockage des accus à des
températures élevées (derrière des vitres) est défavorable, réduit la
longévité des accus et augmente le taux d'autodécharge des éléments.

– Si l'accu n'est plus complètement chargé, c'est qu'il a perdu de sa

capacité par vieillissement ou sollicitation excessive. Il est encore
possible de travailler avec cet accu. Il faudrait néanmoins penser à le
remplacer à temps par un neuf.

6.5 Éléments d'affichage sur l'accu 2

6.5.1 Indicateur du processus de charge

Si le témoin vert sur le chargeur est allumé en continu, le clignotement d'un
témoin sur l'accu indique le processus de charge.

6.5.2 Indicateur d'une température trop élevée / insuffisante

Si l'accu est trop chaud ou trop froid, le témoin vert sur le chargeur clignote.
Les LEDs sur l'accu indiquent ainsi l'état de charge de l'accu LiIon.

6.5.3 Indication d'un accu défectueux

Si le témoin vert sur le chargeur est allumé en continu et que tous les
témoins sur l'accu sont éteints, sortir l'accu du chargeur. Si les témoins
restent éteints après activation de l'indicateur de l'état de charge sur l'accu,
l'accu est défectueux. Faire contrôler l'accu par une agence Hilti.

7 Nettoyage et entretien

ATTENTION

AVERTISSEMENT
Les réparations des pièces électriques et le remplacement du câble
d'alimentation réseau ne doivent être effectués que par un électricien
qualifié.

7.1 Maintenance de l'appareil

ATTENTION
Tenir l'appareil, en particulier les surfaces de préhension, sec, propre
et exempt d'huile et de graisse. Ne pas utiliser de nettoyants à base de
silicone.

Ne jamais faire fonctionner l'appareil si ses ouïes d'aération sont bouchées !
Les nettoyer avec précaution au moyen d'une brosse sèche. Éviter
toute pénétration de corps étrangers à l'intérieur de l'appareil. Nettoyer
régulièrement l'extérieur de l'appareil avec un chiffon légèrement humide.
Ne pas utiliser d'appareil diffuseur, d'appareil à jet de vapeur ou d'eau
courante pour le nettoyage afin de garantir sa sûreté électrique !

8 Recyclage

DANGER

En cas de recyclage incorrect de votre matériel, les risques suivants peuvent
se présenter :

la combustion de pièces en plastique risque de dégager des fumées et gaz
toxiques nocifs pour la santé.

Les piles abîmées ou fortement échauffées peuvent exploser et, de ce fait,
causer des empoisonnements ou intoxications, des brûlures (notamment
par acides), voire risquent de polluer l’environnement.

En cas de recyclage sans précautions, des personnes non autorisées
risquent d’utiliser le matériel de manière incorrecte voire de se blesser
sérieusement, d’infliger de graves blessuresàdestiercespersonnesetde
polluer l’environnement.

ATTENTION

Éliminer sans tarder les accus défectueux. Les tenir hors de portée des
enfants. Ne pas détruire les accus ni les incinérer.

Éliminer les accus conformément aux prescriptions nationales en vigueur
ou restituer les accus ayant servi à Hilti.

2.1 Indicazioni di sicurezza generali

ATTENZIONE! È assolutamente necessario leggere attentamente tutte
le istruzioni. Eventuali errori nell'adempimento delle istruzioni qui di seguito

riportate potranno causare scosse elettriche, incendi e/o lesioni gravi.

2.1.1 Area di lavoro

a) Accertarsi che l'area di lavoro sia adeguatamente illuminata.
b) Non sono consentite manipolazioni o modifiche all'attrezzo.
c) L'attrezzo non è predisposto per il fissaggio a parete.
d) Mantenerepulitaedordinatalazonadilavoro.Il disordine e le zone

di lavoro non illuminate possono essere fonte di incidenti.

e) Evitare di lavorare con lo strumento in ambienti soggetti a rischio

di esplosioni nei quali si trovino liquidi, gas o polveri infiammabili. I
caricabatteria possono produrre scintille, che possono far infiammare la
polvere o i gas.

f) Tenere lontano i bambini e le altre persone durante l'impiego del

caricabatteria.

g) Assicurare il caricabatteria C4/36DC sempre contro lo scivola-

mento all'interno del veicolo.

2.1.2 Sicurezza elettrica

a) La spina di collegamento dello strumento deve essere adatta alla

presa. Evitare assolutamente di apportare modifiche alla spina. Le

spine non modificate e le prese adatte allo scopo riducono il rischio di
scosse elettriche.

b) Evitare il contatto del corpo con superfici con messa a terra, come

tubi, radiatori, fornelli e frigoriferi. Sussiste un maggior rischio di
scosse elettriche nel momento in cui il corpo è collegato a terra.

c) Non usare il cavo per scopi diversi da quelli previsti, per trasportare

o appendere lo strumento, né per estrarre la spina dalla presa di
corrente. Mantenere il cavo al riparo da fonti di calore, dall'olio,

dagli spigoli o da parti degli attrezzi in movimento. I cavi danneggiati
o aggrovigliati aumentano il rischio di scosse elettriche.

d) Utilizzare il caricabatteria esclusivamente in ambienti asciutti. L'e-

ventuale infiltrazione di acqua in un utensile elettrico aumenta il rischio
di scosse elettriche.

e) Se durante il lavoro si danneggia il cavo di alimentazione o la

prolunga, non toccare il cavo. Estrarre la spina dalla presa. Se i
cavi di alimentazione e di prolunga sono danneggiati sussiste il pericolo
di scossa elettrica.

f) Non utilizzare l'attrezzo se è sporco o bagnato. In circostanze sfavo-

revoli, la polvere eventualmente presente sulla superficie dell'attrezzo,
soprattutto se proveniente da materiali conduttori, oppure l'umidità,
possono causare scosse elettriche. Pertanto, soprattutto se vengono
lavorati frequentemente materiali conduttori, far controllare ad intervalli
regolari gli attrezzi sporchi presso un Centro Riparazioni Hilti.

g) Il caricabatteria C 4⁄36DC non deve essere usato con cavo di

prolunga. Sussiste pericolo di incendio.

2.1.3 Sicurezza delle persone

a) Non indossare gioielli, come anelli o catenine. I gioielli potrebbero

causare un cortocircuito e provocare ustioni.

b) Assicurarsi che il caricabatteria sia posizionato in un luogo sicuro.

La caduta della batteria può rappresentare un pericolo per voi e / o per
gli altri.

c) Evitare di toccare i contatti.
d) Al termine della durata utile della batteria, è necessario smaltirla in

modo ecocompatibile e sicuro.

e) Il presente strumento può essere utilizzato da bambini con età minima

8 anni e anche da persone con limitate capacità fisiche, sensoriali o
mentali, o ancora prive di esperienza e conoscenze, purché adegua­tamente sorvegliate e istruite sull'uso sicuro dello strumento e purché
comprendano i pericoli ivi derivanti. Non lasciare giocare i bambini con
lo strumento. Pulizia e manutenzione da parte dell'utente non devono
essere eseguite da bambini senza sorveglianza.

f) Evitare di lasciare giocare i bambini con l'attrezzo.

2.1.4 Utilizzo conforme e cura dei caricabatteria

a) Caricare con il caricabatteria esclusivamente batterie autorizzate

da Hilti.

b) Effettuare accuratamente la manutenzione dello strumento. Con-

trollare l'eventuale presenza di componenti rotti o danneggiati al

parti danneggiate prima d'impiegare lo strumento.

c) Utilizzare i caricabatteria e le rispettive batterie in conformità con

le presenti istruzioni e secondo quanto previsto per questo tipo
specifico di strumento. L'impiego di caricabatteria per usi diversi da

quelli consentiti può dar luogo a situazioni pericolose.

d) Per sostituire il fusibile della presa accendisigari utilizzare esclusiva-

mente quello del tipo installato (5x20 mm⁄ 250 V⁄ 8A).

e) Caricare le batterie esclusivamente nei caricabatteria consigliati

dal produttore. Se un caricabatteria previsto per un determinato tipo
di batteria viene utilizzato con altri tipi di batterie, sussiste pericolodi
incendio.

f) Tenere la batteria non utilizzata o il caricabatteria lontani da graf-

fette, monete, chiavi, chiodi, viti o da altri oggetti di metallo di pic­cole dimensioni che potrebbero causare un collegamento tra i con­tatti della batteria o del caricabatteria. Un eventuale cortocircuito tra

i contatti della batteria o del caricabatteria potrà dare origine a ustionio
ad incendi.

g) In caso di impiego errato possono verificarsi fuoriuscite di liquido

dalla batteria. Evitare il contatto con questo liquido. In caso di
contatto casuale, sciacquare con acqua. Qualora il liquido dovesse
entrare in contatto con gli occhi, chiedere immediato consiglio
al medico. Il liquido fuoriuscito dalla batteria può causare irritazioni

cutanee o ustioni.

h) Fare attenzione a evitare danni meccanici alle batterie.
i) Le batterie danneggiate (ad esempio batterie criccate, con parti

rotte, con contatti piegati, arretrati e/o sporgenti) non devono essere
ricaricate né utilizzate.

2.1.5 Assistenza

Fare riparare l'attrezzo esclusivamente da personale specializzato
qualificato e solo impiegando pezzi di ricambio originali. In questo modo

potrà essere salvaguardata la sicurezza dell'attrezzo.

3 Descrizione

3.1 Utilizzo conforme

Lo strumento serve per ricaricare le batterie Hilti al litio con tensione nominale
compresa tra 7,2 e 36 Volt.

I caricabatteria C 4/36-90 e C 4⁄36350 sono destinati al collegamento a
preseda100a240Voltdicorrentealternata(asecondadellaversione

Il caricabatteria C 4/36-DC è destinato al collegamento alla presa accendi­sigari dell'auto da 12 o 24 Volt di corrente continua.

Per questi caricabatteria sono valide le seguenti batterie: B 12/2.6 LiIon
con adattatore CA-B12, B 14/1.6 LiIon, B 14/3.3 LiIon, B 22/1.6 LiIon,
B 22/2.6 (01) LiIon, B 22/2.6 (02) LiIon, B 22/3.3 LiIon, B 22/5.2 (01) LiIon,
B 36/3.0 LiIon, B 36/3.9 LiIon, B 36/6.0 LiIon.

5 Messa in funzione

5.1 Utilizzare il caricabatteria soltanto in un luogo adatto.

Utilizzare il caricabatteria esclusivamente in ambienti asciutti.
Il luogo di utilizzo del caricabatteria dovrà essere asciutto, pulito e fresco,

senza gelo.
Durante il processo di ricarica, il caricabatteria deve poter cedere calore,

quindi le feritoie di ventilazione devono essere libere.
Pertanto, estrarre il caricabatteria dalla sua valigetta.
Non effettuare la ricarica in un contenitore chiuso.

Utilizzare il caricabatteria C4/36-DC esclusivamente in luoghi areati, puliti e
ombreggiati all'interno del veicolo.

5.2 Accensione del caricabatteria

Inserire la spina di alimentazione nella presa.

NOTA

Dopo aver inserito la spina del caricabatteria si accende la spia verde.

5.3 Accensione del caricabatteria C4/36DC

NOTA

Durante la carica delle batterie Hilti con caricabatteria C4/36-DC, la batteria
dello starter del veicolo può scaricarsi a tale punto da perdere il funziona­mento.

NOTA

A seconda della modalità di funzionamento del veicolo, il caricabatteria
viene alimentato subito oppure dopo aver attivato l'accensione.

Inserire la spina nella presa della tensione di rete dell'accendisigari.

NOTA

Dopo aver inserito la spina del caricabatteria, la spia verde si accende fissa
indicando che la tensione d'ingresso è corretta.

6 Utilizzo

6.1 Inserimento e ricarica della batteria 3

PRUDENZA
Prima di inserire la batteria nel caricabatteria, assicurarsi che le super­fici esterne della batteria siano pulite ed asciutte. Prestare attenzione
al manuale d'istruzioni del caricabatteria.

PRUDENZA

Le batterie non omologate non possono essere caricate. In caso contrario
si possono causare danni alle persone e incendi, e si possono danneggiare
in modo irreparabile la batteria e il caricabatteria.

NOTA

Prima di inserire la batteria nel caricabatteria, verificare che i contatti siano
pulitieprividitraccedigrasso.

Inserire la batteria nell'attacco previsto.
Accertarsi che la geometria / codifica della batteria e dell'interfaccia coinci-

dano.

Dopo l'inserimento della batteria nel caricabatteria, il processo di carica si
avvia automaticamente!

NOTA

– La batteria non si danneggia in alcun modo, anche se rimane per

un lungo periodo nel caricabatteria. In questo caso è opportuno
che il caricabatteria si trovi in condizioni di funzionamento (LED
verde del caricabatteria acceso). Se la batteria è completamente
carica, l'indicatore di livello di carica si spegne dopo qualche istante.
Per attivarlo nuovamente è necessario estrarre la batteria dal
caricabatteria. Per motivi di sicurezza, si consiglia di estrarre la batteria
dal caricabatteria al termine del processo di ricarica.

– Le batterie al litio sono pronte in qualsiasi momento, anche se solo

parzialmente cariche. Il livello di carica viene visualizzato mediante i
LED.

6.2 Rimozione della batteria 4

1. Premere uno o entrambi i pulsanti di sbloccaggio.

2. Estrarre la batteria dall'attrezzo, tirandola verso il lato posteriore.

6.3 Cura delle batterie al litio

Evitare l'infiltrazione di umidità nella batteria.
Per raggiungere la durata massima delle batterie, interromperne lo scarica-

mento non appena si riscontra una sensibile diminuzione delle prestazioni
dell'attrezzo.

NOTA

Se si continua a far funzionare l'attrezzo, lo scaricamento della batteriaviene
interrotto automaticamente, prima che le celle si danneggino.

Ricaricare le batterie con il caricabatteria Hilti omologato per le batterie al
litio.

NOTA

– Per queste batterie non è necessaria la rigenerazione, che è invece

indicata per le batterie al NiCd o al NiMH.

– L'eventuale interruzione del processo di ricarica non pregiudica la

durata della batteria.

– Il processo di ricarica può essere avviato in qualunque momento,

senza pregiudicare la durata della batteria. L'effetto memoria, tipico
delle batterie al NiCd o al NiMH, non è presente in queste batterie.

– Le batterie si conservano al meglio se vengono riposte completamente

cariche in un luogo il più possibile fresco e asciutto. La conservazione
delle batterie a temperature ambiente elevate (ad esempio dietro una

finestra) è sfavorevole, pregiudica la durata delle batterie ed aumenta la
velocità di scaricamento delle celle.

– Se non è più possibile caricare completamente la batteria, significa che

la sua capacità è stata compromessa a causa dell'invecchiamento o
di sollecitazioni eccessive. Non è più possibile lavorare con questa
batteria. È necessario sostituirla al più presto con una nuova.

6.4 Elementi di visualizzazione sul caricabatteria

6.5.1 Indicazione del processo di carica

Se la spia verde sul caricabatteria si accende con luce fissa, una spia
lampeggiante sulla batteria indica il processo di carica.

6.5.2 Indicazione della temperatura troppo alta / troppo bassa

6.5.3 Indicatore batteria difettosa

Se la spia verde sul caricabatteria si accende con luce fissa e tutte le spie
della batteria sono spente, estrarre la batteria dal caricabatteria. Se lespie
restano spente dopo l'attivazione dell'indicatore del livello di carica della
batteria, la batteria è difettosa. Far controllare la batteria da un punto vendita
Hilti.

7 Cura e manutenzione

PRUDENZA
Estrarre la spina dalla presa.

ATTENZIONE
Le riparazioni relative alle parti elettriche e la sostituzione del cavo
di alimentazione devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da elettricisti
specializzati.

7.1 Cura dello strumento

PRUDENZA
L'attrezzo e in modo particolare le superfici di impugnatura devono
essere sempre asciutti, puliti e privi di olio e grasso. Non utilizzare
prodotti detergenti contenenti silicone.

Non utilizzare mai l'attrezzo se le feritoie di ventilazione sono ostruite! Pulire
con cautela le feritoie di ventilazione utilizzando una spazzola asciutta. Impe­dire che corpi estranei penetrino all'interno dell'attrezzo. Pulire regolarmente
la parte esterna dell'attrezzo con un panno leggermente umido. Per la pulizia
dell'attrezzo non utilizzare apparecchi a getto d'acqua o di vapore o acqua
corrente! La sicurezza elettrica dell'attrezzo ne può essere compromessa.

8 Smaltimento

PERICOLO

Uno smaltimento inadeguato dei componenti potrebbe comportare le se­guenti conseguenze:

Durante la combustione di parti in plastica vengono prodotti gas tossici che
possono causare problemi di salute.

Le batterie possono esplodere se sono danneggiate o notevolmente surri­scaldate e, di conseguenza, possono causare avvelenamenti, ustioni, cor­rosione o inquinamento.

Uno smaltimento sconsiderato può far sì che persone non autorizzate
utilizzino l'attrezzatura in modo improprio, provocando gravi lesioni a se
stessi oppure a terzi, e inquinando l'ambiente.

Le batterie difettose devono essere smaltite immediatamente. Tenerle fuori
dalla portata dei bambini. Non smontare né bruciare le batterie.

PRUDENZA

Smaltire le batterie secondo le vigenti norme nazionali o restituire le batterie
esauste a Hilti.

Gli strumenti e gli attrezzi Hilti sono in gran parte realizzati con materiali
riciclabili. Condizione essenziale per il riciclaggio è che i materiali vengano
accuratamente separati. In molte nazioni, Hilti si è già organizzata per
provvedere al ritiro dei vecchi strumenti / attrezzi ed al loro riciclaggio. Per

2 Indicaciones de seguridad

2.1 Instrucciones generales de seguridad

¡ATENCIÓN! Lea íntegramente estas instrucciones. En caso de no

atenerse a las instrucciones de seguridad que se describen a continuación,
podría provocarse una descarga eléctrica, incendio o lesiones graves.

GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES EN UN LUGAR SEGURO.

2.1.1 Puesto de trabajo

a) Procure que haya una buena iluminación en la zona de trabajo.
b) No está permitido efectuar manipulaciones o modificaciones en la

herramienta.

c) Laherramientanoestáprevistaparalafijaciónenpared.
d) Mantenga limpia y bien iluminada la zona de trabajo. El desorden

y una iluminación deficiente en las zonas de trabajo pueden provocar
accidentes.

e) No utilice la herramienta en un entorno con peligro de explosión,

en el que se encuentren combustibles líquidos, gases o material en
polvo. Los cargadores pueden producir chispas que pueden llegar a

inflamar los materiales en polvo o vapores.

f) Mantenga alejados a los niños y otras personas al emplear el

cargador.

g) Asegure siempre el cargador C4/36DC para evitar que resbale en

el vehículo.

2.1.2 Seguridad eléctrica

a) El enchufe del equipo debe corresponder a la toma de corriente

utilizada. No está permitido modificar el enchufe en forma alguna.

Los enchufes sin modificar adecuados a las respectivas tomas de
corriente reducen el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.

b) Evite el contacto corporal con superficies que tengan puesta a

tierra, como pueden ser tubos, calefacciones, cocinas y frigoríficos.

El riesgo a quedar expuesto a una sacudida eléctrica es mayor si su
cuerpo tiene contacto con tierra.

c) No utilice el cable de red para transportar o colgar la herramienta, ni

tire de él para sacar el enchufe de la toma de corriente. Mantenga el
cable de red alejado de fuentes de calor, aceites, esquinas cortantes
o piezas móviles de la herramienta. Loscablesdereddañadoso

enredados pueden provocar una descarga eléctrica.

d) Utilice el cargador únicamente en un entorno seco. Existe el peligro

de recibir una descarga eléctrica si penetran ciertos líquidos en la
herramienta eléctrica.

e) Si se daña el cable de red o el alargador durante el trabajo, evite

tocarelcable. Extraigaelenchufedereddelatomadecorriente.

Los cables de conexión y los alargadores dañados suponen un peligro,
pues pueden ocasionar una descarga eléctrica.

f) No utilice nunca una herramienta sucia o mojada. El polvo adherido

a la superficie de la herramienta (sobre todo de materiales conductivos)
o la humedad pueden provocar descargas eléctricas bajo condiciones
desfavorables. Por tanto, encargue una revisión periódica de la herra­mienta sucia al Servicio Técnico de Hilti, sobre todo si se ha usado con
frecuencia para cortar materiales conductivos.

g) El cargador C 4⁄36DC no debe utilizarse con cables alargadores.

Existe riesgo de incendio.

2.1.3 Seguridad de personas

a) No utilice joyas como anillos o cadenas, yaquepodríaproducirseun

cortocircuito y causar un incendio.

b) Asegúrese de que la posición del cargador sea segura. Si se cae la

batería o el cargador, puede dañarle a usted y a otras personas.

c) Evite tocar los contactos.
d) Al finalizar su vida útil, las baterías deben desecharse de forma

adecuada y segura respetando el medio ambiente.

e) Esta herramienta pueden utilizarla niños a partir de 8 años, personas

con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales limitadas y personas
sin experiencia ni conocimientos al respecto siempre y cuando estén
supervisados, hayan sido informados acerca del uso seguro de la
herramienta y entiendan los riesgos que comporta. Los niños no deben
jugar con la herramienta. La limpieza y el mantenimiento no deben
llevarlos a cabo los niños a menos que estén supervisados.

f) Es conveniente advertir a los niños de que no deben jugar con la

herramienta.

2.1.4 Manipulación y utilización segura de los cargadores

a) El cargador debe emplearse exclusivamente para cargar baterías

Hilti autorizadas.

b) Cuide sus herramientas adecuadamente. Compruebe que no exis-

ten piezas rotas o deterioradas que puedan afectar al funciona­miento de la herramienta. Encargue la reparación de las piezas
defectuosas antes de usar la herramienta.

c) Utilice los cargadores y las baterías correspondientes de acuerdo

con estas instrucciones y de la forma indicada específicamente para
esta herramienta. El uso de cargadores para aplicaciones distintas a

las previstas puede resultar peligroso.

d) Para sustituir el fusible del conector del encendedor de cigarrillos, utilice

exclusivamente el modelo instalado (5 x 20 mm/250 V/8 A).

e) Cargue las baterías únicamente con los cargadores recomendados

por el fabricante. Existe riesgo de incendio al intentar cargar baterías
de un tipo diferente al previsto para el cargador.

f) Cuando no utilice la batería o el cargador, guárdelos separados de

clips, monedas, llaves, clavos, tornillos o demás objetos metálicos
que pudieran puentear sus contactos de batería o de cargador. El

cortocircuito de los contactos de la batería o del cargador puede causar
quemaduras o incendios.

g) La utilización inadecuada de la batería puede provocar fugas de

líquido. Evite el contacto con este líquido. En caso de contacto
accidental, enjuague el área afectada con abundante agua. En
caso de contacto con los ojos, acuda también inmediatamente a
un médico. El líquido de la batería puede irritar la piel o producir

quemaduras.

h) Tenga cuidado de que las baterías no se dañen mecánicamente.
i) Las baterías dañadas (p. ej., baterías con grietas, piezas rotas o

3 Descripción

3.1 Uso conforme a las prescripciones

La herramienta sirve para cargar baterías de Ion-Litio Hilti con una tensión
nominal de 7,2 a 36 V.

Los cargadores C 4/36-90 y C 4⁄36350 son adecuados para su conexión a
tomas de corriente alterna de entre 100 y 240 V (según la variante de cada
país).

El cargador C 4/36-DC es adecuado para su conexión a una toma para
encendedor de cigarrillos de 12 o 24 V CC.

Las siguientes baterías son compatibles con este cargador: B 12/2.6 LiIon
con su adaptador CA-B12, B 14/1.6 LiIon, B 14/3.3 LiIon, B 22/1.6 LiIon,
B 22/2.6 (01) LiIon, B 22/2.6 (02) LiIon, B 22/3.3 LiIon, B 22/5.2 (01) LiIon,

Esta herramienta ha sido diseñada para el usuario profesional y sólo

debe ser manejada, conservada y reparada por personal autorizado y
adecuadamente formado. Este personal debe estar especialmente instruido
en lo referente a los riesgos de uso. La herramienta y sus medios auxiliares
pueden suponer un riesgo si se manipulan indebidamente o si no se emplean
conforme al uso previsto por parte de personal no especializado.

Sólo debe funcionar con la frecuencia y tensión de alimentación especificada

5.1 Utilización de la herramienta solo en una ubicación apropiada.

Utilice el cargador únicamente en un entorno seco.
La ubicación de la herramienta debe estar limpia y fresca, pero protegida

de las heladas.
Durante el proceso de carga la herramienta debe poder desprender calor,

por esta razón es necesario que las rejillas de ventilación estén libres.
Extraiga el cargador del maletín de la herramienta.
No cargue la herramienta en un recipiente cerrado.

Utilice el cargador C4/36-DC únicamente en lugares del vehículo que
estén ventilados, limpios y a la sombra.

5.2 Conexióndelaherramienta

Inserte el enchufe de la herramienta en la toma de corriente.

INDICACIÓN

Después de insertar la herramienta se enciende el diodo verde.

5.3 Encendido del cargador C4/36DC

INDICACIÓN

Mientras se cargan las baterías Hilti con el cargador C4/36-DC, la batería
de arranque del vehículo puede descargarse hasta el punto de quedar
inoperativa.

INDICACIÓN

Dependiendo del funcionamiento del vehículo, el cargador puede recibir
alimentación de inmediato o bien activarse tras el encendido del vehículo.

6Manejo

6.1 Colocaciónycargadelabatería3

PRECAUCIÓN
Compruebe que la superficie exterior de la batería está limpia y seca
antes de colocarla en el cargador. Observe el manual de instrucciones
del cargador.

PRECAUCIÓN

No cargue baterías no autorizadas. En caso contrario, podrían producirse
daños personales, daños irreparables o incendiarse la batería y el cargador.

INDICACIÓN

Antes de insertar la batería en el cargador, compruebe que los contactos
están limpios y libres de aceites.

Introduzca la batería en la ranura de inserción prevista para tal fin.
Asegúrese de que la geometría/codificación de la batería coincida con la

ranura de inserción.
Una vez que haya encajado la batería en el cargador, el proceso de carga

se inicia automáticamente.

INDICACIÓN

– La batería no se daña aunque permanezca durante un periodo

prolongado en el cargador. En este caso es necesario que el cargador
se encuentre en estado de funcionamiento (LED verde del cargador
encendido). Si la batería está totalmente cargada, después de un
tiempo se apaga el indicador del estado de carga. Para volver a
activarlo se debe extraer la batería del cargador. Por motivos de
seguridad, se recomienda retirar la batería del cargador una vez
finalizado el proceso de carga.

– Las baterías de Ion-Litio están listas para funcionar en cualquier

momento, incluso con un estado de carga parcial. El progreso de
cargaseindicapormediodelosLED.

6.2 Extracción de la batería 4

1. Pulse uno o ambos botones de desbloqueo.

2. Extraiga la batería de la herramienta tirando hacia atrás.

6.3 Cuidado de las baterías de Ion-Litio

Evite la penetración de líquidos.
Para alcanzar la máxima vida útil de las baterías, cárguelas en cuanto

empiece a disminuir claramente su rendimiento.

INDICACIÓN

Si continúa utilizando la herramienta, la descarga finaliza automáticamente
antes de que puedan producirse daños en las células.

Cargue las baterías con cargadores Hilti autorizados para baterías de Ion­Litio.

INDICACIÓN

– Con estas baterías no es necesaria su regeneración, como sucede con

las de NiCd o NiMH.

– Una interrupción del proceso de carga no reduce la vida útil de la

batería.

– El proceso de carga puede reiniciarse en cualquier momento sin que

disminuya la vida útil. No tienen efecto memoria como ocurre con las
baterías de NiCd o NiMH.

– Las baterías deben guardarse en un estado de carga completa, a ser

posible en un lugar fresco y seco. No se recomienda guardar la batería
a una temperatura ambiente alta (detrás de un cristal), ya que reduce
su vida útil y propicia la descarga automática de las celdas.

– Si la batería se carga de forma incompleta, esto es debido a una

reducción de la capacidad originada por el paso del tiempo o el uso

excesivo. La herramienta puede seguir funcionando con esta batería.
No obstante, debe reemplazarse por una nueva cada cierto tiempo.

6.4 Indicadores del cargador

6.5 Elementos de indicación de la batería 2

6.5.1 Indicador del proceso de carga

Si el diodo verde del cargador se enciende con una luz continua, un diodo
de la batería indica el proceso de carga con una luz parpadeante.

6.5.2 Indicador de sobre/subtemperatura

Si el diodo verde del cargador parpadea, la batería está demasiado caliente
o fría. Los LED de la batería indican el estado de carga de la batería de Ion­Litio.

6.5.3 Indicación de batería defectuosa

Si el diodo verde del cargador se enciende con una luz continua y todos
los diodos de la batería están apagados, retire la batería del cargador. Si
los diodos continúan apagados después de activar el indicador del estado
de carga de la batería, entonces la batería está defectuosa. Encargue la
comprobación de la batería al centro de reparación de Hilti.

7 Cuidado y mantenimiento

PRECAUCIÓN
Extraiga el enchufe de red de la toma de corriente.

ADVERTENCIA
Las reparaciones de la parte eléctrica y el cambio del cable de red solo
puede llevarlos a cabo un electricista especializado.

7.1 Cuidado de la herramienta

PRECAUCIÓN
Mantenga la herramienta seca, limpia y libre de aceite y grasa, en
especial las superficies de la empuñadura. No utilice productos de
limpieza que contengan silicona.

No utilice nunca la herramienta si esta tiene obstruidas las ranuras de
ventilación. Limpie cuidadosamente las rejillas de ventilación con un cepillo
seco. Evite que se introduzcan cuerpos extraños en el interior de la
herramienta. Limpie regularmente el exterior de la herramienta con un paño
ligeramente humedecido. No utilice pulverizadores, aparatos de chorro de
vapor o agua corriente para la limpieza, ya que podría mermar la seguridad
eléctrica de la herramienta.

8 Reciclaje

PELIGRO

Una eliminación no conforme a lo prescrito del equipamiento puede tener
las siguientes consecuencias:

si se queman las piezas de plástico se generan gases tóxicos que pueden
afectar a las personas;

si las pilas están dañadas o se calientan en exceso pueden explotar y
ocasionar intoxicaciones, incendios, causticaciones o contaminación del
medio ambiente;

si se realiza una evacuación imprudente, el equipo podría caer en manos
de personas no autorizadas que lo utilizarían de forma inadecuada. Como

ambiente se vería perjudicado.

Deseche inmediatamente las baterías defectuosas. Manténgalas alejadas
de los niños. No desmonte ni queme las baterías.

PRECAUCIÓN

Deseche las baterías respetando las disposiciones de su país o devuelva
las baterías usadas a Hilti.

Las herramientas Hilti están fabricadas en su mayor parte con materiales
reutilizables. La condición para dicha reutilización es una separación de
materiales adecuada. En muchos países, Hilti ya dispone de un servicio de
recogida de la herramienta usada. Póngase en contacto con el Servicio de
Atención al Cliente de Hilti o con su asesor de ventas.

Solo para países de la Unión Europea.
No desechar las herramientas eléctricas junto con los desper-

dicios domésticos.

2 Normas de segurança

2.1 Normas gerais de segurança

ATENÇÃO:! Leia todas as instruções. O desrespeito pelas instruções a

seguir enunciadas pode resultar em choque eléctrico, incêndio e/ou lesões
graves. GUARDE BEM ESTAS INSTRUÇÕES.

2.1.1 Local de trabalho

a) Assegure-se de que o local está bem iluminado.
b) Não é permitida a modificação ou manipulação da ferramenta.
c) O aparelho não está preparado para a fixação à parede.
d) Mantenha o seu local de trabalho limpo e arrumado. Desordem e

fraca iluminação podem ser causa de acidentes.

e) Não opere com o aparelho em ambientes explosivos ou na proxi-

midade de líquidos, gases ou pós inflamáveis. Carregadores podem
produzir faíscas que podem provocar a ignição de pó e vapores.

f) *Mantenha crianças e terceiros afastados durante a utilização do

carregador.

g) Fixe sempre o carregador C4/36DC para que não escorregue no

veículo.

2.1.2 Segurança eléctrica

a) A ficha do aparelho deve servir na tomada. A ficha não deve ser

modificadademodoalgum. Fichas originais (não modificadas) e

tomadas adequadas reduzem o risco de choque eléctrico.

b) Evite o contacto físico com superfícies ligadas à terra, tais como,

por exemplo, canos, radiadores, fogões e frigoríficos. Existe um
risco elevado de choque eléctrico se o corpo estiver com ligação à terra.

c) Não use o cabo para transportar, arrastar ou desligar o aparelho

da tomada. Mantenha o cabo afastado de calor, óleo, arestas
vivas ou partes em movimento da ferramenta. Cabos danificados ou

emaranhados aumentam o risco de choque eléctrico.

d) Utilize o carregador apenas em ambiente seco. A infiltração de água

no aparelho aumenta o risco de choque eléctrico.

e) Se danificar o cabo enquanto trabalha, não lhe toque e desligue o

aparelho imediatamente. Retire a ficha de rede da tomada. Linhas
de conexão e extensões danificadas representam um risco de choque
eléctrico.

f) Nunca utilize o carregador se este estiver sujo ou molhado. Humi-

dade ou sujidade na superfície do aparelho dificultam o seu manuseio e
podem, sob condições desfavoráveis, causar choques eléctricos. Deste
modo, se trabalha materiais condutores com frequência, recomenda­mos que mande verificar periodicamente o seu aparelho por um Centro
de Assistência Técnica Hilti.

g) O carregador C 4⁄36DC não deve ser utilizado com cabo de

extensão. Existe risco de incêndio.

2.1.3 Segurança física

a) Não use jóias, tais como anéis ou cordões. As jóias poderiam

provocar um curto-circuito e causar queimadura.

b) Providencie uma posição firme do carregador. Uma bateria ou um

carregador mal encaixado pode causar acidentes.

c) Evite tocar nos contactos da bateria.
d) As baterias devem ser recicladas de forma ecológica e segura no

fim da sua vida útil.

e) Este aparelho pode ser utilizado por crianças com 8 anos ou mais de

idade e por pessoas com capacidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais
reduzidas ou com pouca experiência e conhecimento, se tiverem sido
supervisionadas ou instruídas quanto à utilização segura do aparelho
e perceberem os perigos daí resultantes. Crianças não devem brincar
com o aparelho. A limpeza e manutenção pelo utilizador não devem
ser realizadas por crianças sem supervisão.

f) Deve ensinar-se às crianças que não podem brincar com o aparelho.

2.1.4 Utilização e manutenção de carregadores

a) Carregue apenas baterias Hilti aprovadas com o carregador.
b) Trate do aparelho com cuidado. Verifique se há peças quebradas ou

danificadas, que possam influenciar o funcionamento do aparelho.
Peças danificadas devem ser reparadas antes da utilização do
aparelho.

c) Utilize carregadores e respectivas baterias de acordo com estas

instruções e da forma prevista para este tipo especial de aparelho.

A utilização de carregadores para outros fins além dos previstos, pode
ocasionar situações de perigo.

d) Em caso de substituição do fusível na tomada de isqueiro utilize apenas

o tipo instalado (5x20 mm⁄ 250 V⁄ 8A).

e) Apenas deverá carregar as baterias em carregadores recomenda-

dos pelo fabricante. Num carregador adequado para um determinado
tipo de baterias, existe perigo de incêndio se for utilizado para outras
baterias.

f) Quando a bateria ou o carregador não estiver em uso, mantenha-o

afastado de clipes, moedas, chaves, pregos, parafusos ou outros
pequenos objectos metálicos que possam ligar em ponte os contac­tos da bateria ou do carregador. Um curto-circuito entre os contactos

da bateria ou do carregador pode causar queimaduras ou incêndio.

g) Utilizações inadequadas podem provocar o derrame do líquido da

bateria. Evite o contacto com este líquido. No caso de contacto
acidental, enxagúe imediatamente com água. Se o líquido entrar
em contacto com os olhos, procure auxílio médico. O líquido que

escorre da bateria pode provocar irritações ou queimaduras da pele.

h) Certifique-se de que as baterias não são danificadas mecanica-

mente.

i) Baterias danificadas (por exemplo, com fissuras, peças partidas,

contactos dobrados, empurrados para trás e/ou puxados para fora)
não podem ser carregadas nem continuar a ser utilizadas.

2.1.5 Reparação

A sua ferramenta eléctrica só deve ser reparada por pessoal qualifi­cado e só devem ser utilizadas peças sobressalentes originais. Isto

assegurará que a segurança do aparelho se mantenha.

3 Descrição

3.1 Utilização correcta

O carregador destina-se a carregar baterias Hilti de iões de lítio com uma
tensão nominal de 7,2 a 36 V.

Os carregadores C 4/36-90 e C 4/36350 estão concebidos para serem
ligados a tomadas com tensão alterna de 100 V a 240 V (consoante a
versão nacional).

O carregador C 4/36-DC está concebido para ser ligado a uma tomada de
isqueiro com 12 V ou 24 V de corrente contínua.

As seguintes baterias estão aprovadas para estes carregadores: B 12/2.6

5 Antes de iniciar a utilização

5.1 Utilize o carregador somente em local próprio

Utilize o aparelho apenas dentro de ambiente seco.
Utilize o aparelho em local limpo e fresco, onde não haja perigo de geada.
O carregador dissipa calor durante o processo de carregamento; por isso,

as saídas de ar devem estar desobstruídas.
Retire o carregador da respectiva mala.
Não utilize o carregador no interior de um contentor.

Utilize o carregador C4/36-DC somente em locais arejados, com sombra e
limpos no veículo.

5.2 Ligar o carregador

Ligue o aparelho à corrente.

NOTA

A luz verde acende-se depois de se ligar o carregador à corrente.

5.3 Ligar o carregador C4/36-DC

NOTA

Ao carregar as baterias Hilti com o carregador C4/36-DC, a bateria de
arranque do veículo pode ficar tão descarregada ao ponto de perder a sua
função.

O carregador é alimentado imediatamente ou depois de a ignição estar
ligada, consoante a maneira de funcionar do veículo.

Em caso de tensão de entrada correcta, a luz verde acende-se depois de
se ligar o aparelho à corrente.

6 Utilização

6.1 Colocar e carregar a bateria 3

CUIDADO
Certifique-se de que as superfícies exteriores da bateria estão limpas
e secas antes de a colocar no carregador. Leia o manual de instruções
do carregador.

CUIDADO

Baterias não aprovadas não podem ser carregadas. Caso contrário,
pode causar danos pessoais, fogo, incêndio e destruição da bateria e do
carregador.

NOTA

Antes de colocar as baterias no carregador, verifique se os contactos estão
limpos e isentos de gordura.

Empurre a bateria na interface prevista.
Preste atenção para que a geometria/codificação da bateria coincida com

adoacumulador.
O processo de carregamento inicia-se automaticamente assim que a bateria

tenha sido inserida no carregador!

NOTA

– A bateria não se danifica, mesmo que permaneça durante um longo

período no carregador. Neste caso, é necessário que o carregador se
encontre em estado de funcionamento (o LED verde do carregador
acende). Quando a bateria estiver totalmente carregada, a indicação
do estado de carga apaga-se passado algum tempo. Para a poder
activar de novo, é necessário retirar a bateria do carregador. Por
motivos de segurança recomenda-se retirar a bateria do carregador
depois de terminado o processo de carregamento.

– As baterias de iões de lítio estão operacionais em qualquer momento,

mesmo parcialmente carregadas. O progresso de carregamento é-lhe
indicado pelos LED.

6.2 Retirar a bateria 4

1. Pressione um ou ambos os botões de destravamento.

2. Retire a bateria da ferramenta, puxando-a para trás.

6.3 Conservação das baterias de iões de lítio

Eviteaentradadehumidade.
Para conseguir a vida útil máxima das baterias, desligue a ferramenta logo

que seja notada uma quebra no desempenho da bateria.

NOTA

Se se mantiver o funcionamento, este será automaticamente parado antes
que a descarga possa danificar as células.

Carregue as baterias com os carregadores aprovados pela Hilti para baterias
de iões de lítio.

NOTA

– Não é necessário efectuar um condicionamento das baterias, como

acontece nas baterias NiCd ou NiMH.

– Uma interrupção do processo de carregamento não condiciona a vida

útil das baterias.

– O carregamento pode ser iniciado a qualquer momento, sem

condicionar a vida útil. Não existe um efeito de memória como nas
baterias NiCd ou NiMH.

– A melhor forma de guardar as baterias é completamente carregadas

em local fresco e seco. Deixar as baterias expostas a temperaturas
ambienteselevadas(portrásdeumvidro)éinadequado,condicionaa
suavidaútileaumentaoritmodedescargaespontâneadascélulas.

– Se a bateria não voltar a carregar completamente, poderá ter perdido

capacidade devido a envelhecimento ou sobrecarga. Ainda é possível
trabalhar com esta bateria. No entanto, deverá ser brevemente
substituída por uma nova.

6.5 Elementos de indicação na bateria 2

6.5.1 Indicação do processo de carregamento

Se a luz verde no carregador estiver permanentemente acesa, o piscar de
uma luz na bateria indica o processo de carregamento.

6.5.2 Indicação da temperatura excessiva/insuficiente

Se a bateria estiver demasiado quente ou demasiado fria, a lâmpada verde
no carregador pisca. Os LED na bateria indicam o estado de carga da
bateria de iões Li.

6.5.3 Indicação de bateria com defeito

Se a luz verde no carregador estiver permanentemente acesa e todas as
luzes na bateria estiverem apagadas, retire a bateria do carregador. Se as
luzes permanecerem apagadas após activação da indicação do estado de

carga na bateria, a bateria está danificada. Nesse caso, mande verificar a
bateria no Centro Hilti.

7 Conservação e manutenção

CUIDADO
Retire a ficha de rede da tomada.

AVISO
As reparações na parte eléctrica e a substituição do cabo de rede
apenas podem ser executadas por um electricista especializado.

7.1 Manutenção da ferramenta

CUIDADO
Mantenha a ferramenta, particularmente as superfícies do punho, seca,
limpa e isenta de óleos e massas. Não utilize produtos de limpeza que
contenham silicone.

As saídas de ar devem estar sempre limpas e desobstruídas! Limpe as
saídas de ar cuidadosamente com uma escova seca. Evite a penetração de
corpos estranhos no interior da ferramenta. Limpe regularmente o exterior
da ferramenta com um pano ligeiramente húmido. Não utilize qualquer
pulverizador, aparelho de jacto de vaporouáguacorrenteparalimpara
ferramenta! A segurança eléctrica da ferramenta pode ficar comprometida.

8 Reciclagem

PERIGO

Podem surgir os seguintes problemas se não proceder à correcta reciclagem
do carregador:

a combustão de componentes plásticos pode gerar fumos tóxicos que
representam um perigo para a saúde.

Se danificadas ou expostas a temperaturas muito elevadas, as baterias
podem explodir, originando queimaduras por ácido, intoxicação e poluição
ambiental.

Uma reciclagem incorrecta (ou ausência desta) permite que pessoas não
autorizadas/habilitadas utilizem o equipamento para fins diferentes daqueles
para os quais foi concebido. Consequentemente, podem ferir-se a si
próprios ou a terceiros, ou causar poluição ambiental.

CUIDADO

Recicle imediatamente as baterias avariadas. Mantenha-as afastadas do
alcance das crianças. Não desmantele nem incinere as baterias.

CUIDADO

A reciclagem das baterias deve ser feita de acordo com os regulamentos
nacionais/locais em vigor. A Hilti recebe baterias usadas para reciclagem.

As ferramentas Hilti são, em grande parte, fabricadas com materiais
recicláveis. Um pré-requisito para a reciclagem é que esses materiais sejam
devidamente separados. A Hilti já iniciou em muitos países a recolha do seu
carregador usado para fins de reaproveitamento. Para mais informações
dirija-se ao Serviço de Clientes Hilti local ou ao vendedor.

Não deite ferramentas eléctricas no lixo doméstico!
De acordo com a directiva europeia relativa aos resíduos de

2 Veiligheidsinstructies

2.1 Algemene veiligheidsinstructies

LET OP! Lees alle voorschriften. Wanneer de volgende voorschriften niet

in acht worden genomen, kan dit een elektrische schok, brand of ernstig
letsel tot gevolg hebben. BEWAAR DEZE VOORSCHRIFTEN GOED.

2.1.1 Werkruimte

a) Zorg voor een goede verlichting van het werkgebied.
b) Aanpassingen of veranderingen aan het apparaat zijn niet toege-

staan.

c) Het apparaat is niet bedoeld voor bevestiging aan de wand.
d) Houd u werkgebied schoon en opgeruimd. Een rommelig of onverlicht

werkgebied kan tot ongevallen leiden.

e) Werk niet met het apparaat in een explosieve omgeving waarin

zich brandbare vloeistoffen, gassen of stof bevinden. Acculaders
veroorzaken vonken die het stof of de dampen tot ontsteking kunnen
brengen.

f) Houd kinderen en andere personen tijdens het gebruik van de

acculader uit de buurt.

g) De C4/36DC acculader altijd tegen wegglijden in het voertuig

beveiligen.

2.1.2 Elektrische veiligheid

a) De aansluitstekker van het gereedschap moet in het stopcontact

passen. De stekker mag in geen geval worden veranderd. Onveran-

derde stekkers en passende stopcontacten beperken het risico van een
elektrische schok.

b) Voorkom aanraking van het lichaam met geaarde oppervlakken,

bijvoorbeeld van buizen, verwarmingen, fornuizen en koelkasten.

Er bestaat een verhoogd risico van een elektrische schok wanneer uw
lichaam geaard is.

c) Gebruik het snoer niet voor een verkeerd doel, om het gereedschap

te dragen of op te hangen of om de stekker uit het stopcontact
te trekken. Houd het snoer uit de buurt van hitte, olie, scherpe
randen en bewegende gereedschapsdelen. Beschadigdeofindewar

geraakte kabels vergroten het risico van een elektrische schok.

d) De acculader alleen in droge omgevingen gebruiken. Het binnen-

dringen van water in het elektrische gereedschap vergroot het risico van
een elektrische schok.

e) Wordt het voedings- of verlengsnoer tijdens de werkzaamheden

beschadigd, dan mag u dit niet aanraken. Trek de stekker uit het

stopcontact. Beschadigde voedings- en verlengsnoeren houden het
risico van een elektrische schok in.

f) Gebruik het apparaat nooit in vuile of natte toestand. Vocht of

stofdatzichaanhetoppervlakvanhetapparaathecht,metname
van geleidend materiaal, kan onder ongunstige omstandigheden tot een
elektrische schok leiden. Laat daarom verontreinigde apparaten, met
name wanneer er vaak geleidend materiaal wordt bewerkt, regelmatig
controleren door de Hilti-service.

g) De acculader C 4⁄36DC mag niet met een verlengsnoer worden

gebruikt. Er bestaat brandgevaar.

2.1.3 Veiligheid van personen

a) Draag geen sieraden, zoals ringen of kettingen. De sieraden kunnen

een korstsluiting veroorzaken en leiden tot verbrandingen.

b) Zorg ervoor dat de acculader op een veilige manier is geplaatst. Een

vallende accu of acculader kan u en/of anderen in gevaar brengen.

c) Raak de contacten niet aan.
d) Wanneer de levensduur verstreken is, dienen de accu's op een

milieuvriendelijke en veilige wijze te worden afgevoerd.

e) Dit apparaat kan door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar en bovendien door personen

met lichamelijke, sensorische of mentale beperkingen of een gebrek aan
ervaring en kennis worden gebruikt, als deze onder toezicht of met
betrekking tot het veilige gebruik van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en
de hieruit resulterende gevaren begrijpen. Kinderen mogen niet met het
apparaat spelen. Reiniging en onderhoud mogen niet door kinderen
zonder toezicht worden uitgevoerd.

f) Kinderen moeten duidelijk worden gemaakt dat het apparaat geen

speelgoed is.

2.1.4 Gebruik en onderhoud van acculaders

a) Laad alleen goedgekeurde Hilti accu's met de acculader.
b) Ga zorgvuldig met het gereedschap om. Controleer of er onderde-

len gebroken of zo beschadigd zijn, dat dit nadelig is voor het func­tioneren van het gereedschap. Laat beschadigde delen repareren
voordat u het gereedschap gebruikt.

c) Gebruik de acculaders en daarbij behorende accu's volgens deze

voorschriften en zó als het voor dit speciale apparaattype is voor­geschreven. Het gebruik van acculaders voor andere dan de voorziene

toepassingen kan tot gevaarlijke situaties leiden.

d) Als de zekering in de stekker van de sigarettenaansteker wordt vervan-

gen, uitsluitend het gemonteerde type gebruiken (5x20 mm/ 250 V/8A).

e) Laad accu's alleen op in acculaders die door de fabrikant worden

geadviseerd. Voor een acculader die voor een bepaald type accu­pack geschikt is, bestaat het risico van brand wanneer deze met andere
accu's wordt gebruikt.

f) Houd de gebruikte accu of acculader uit de buurt van paperclips,

munten, sleutels, spijkers, schroeven of andere kleine metalen
voorwerpen, die een kortsluiting van de accu- of laadcontacten
zouden kunnen veroorzaken. Een kortsluiting tussen de accu- of

laadcontacten kan leiden tot brand of verbrandingen.

g) Bij een verkeerd gebruik kan er vloeistof uit de accu komen.

Voorkom contact. Spoel bij onvoorzien contact met water af.
Wanneer de vloeistof in de ogen komt, dient u bovendien een
arts te raadplegen. Gelekte accuvloeistof kan tot huidirritaties en

verbrandingen leiden.

h) Zorg ervoor dat de accu's niet mechanisch worden beschadigd.
i) Beschadigde accu's (bijvoorbeeld accu's met scheuren, gebroken

onderdelen, verbogen, ingedrukte en/of uitgetrokken contacten)
mogen niet geladen en ook niet meer worden gebruikt.

2.1.5 Service

Laat het gereedschap alleen repareren door gekwalificeerd en vakkun­dig personeel en alleen met originele vervangingsonderdelen. Daarmee

wordt gewaarborgd dat de veiligheid van het gereedschap in stand blijft.

3 Beschrijving

3.1 Gebruik volgens de voorschriften

Het apparaat is bestemd voor het laden van Hilti Lithium Ion accu's met een
nominale spanning van 7,2 tot 36 volt.

De acculaders C 4/36-90 en C 4⁄36350 zijn bedoeld voor aansluiting op
contactdozen met 100 tot 240 V wisselspanning (afhankelijk van de nationale
uitvoering).

De acculader C 4/36-DC is bedoeld voor aansluiting op een 12 of 24 V
gelijkstroom sigarettenaanstekeraansluiting.

De volgende accu zijn goedgekeurd voor deze acculaders: B 12/2.6 LiIon
met bijbehorende CA-B12 adapter, B 14/1.6 LiIon, B 14/3.3 LiIon, B 22/1.6
LiIon, B 22/2.6 (01) LiIon, B 22/2.6 (02) LiIon, B 22/3.3 LiIon, B 22/5.2
(01) LiIon, B 36/3.0 LiIon, B 36/3.9 LiIon, B 36/6.0 LiIon.

Gebruik om gevaren te vermijden uitsluitend goedgekeurde accu's.
Gebruik de accu niet als energiebron voor andere niet-gespecificeerde

verbruikers.
Het apparaat is bestemd voor de professionele gebruiker en mag alleen door

geautoriseerd, onderricht personeel bediend, onderhouden en gerepareerd
worden. Dit personeel moet speciaal op de hoogte zijn gesteld van de
gevaren die zich kunnen voordoen. Het apparaat en de bijbehorende
hulpmiddelen kunnen gevaar opleveren als ze door ongeschoolde personen
op ondeskundige wijze of niet volgens de voorschriften worden gebruikt.

Het apparaat mag uitsluitend worden gebruikt met de netspanning en ­frequentie die op het typeplaatje staan aangegeven.

5 Inbedrijfneming

5.1 Gebruik het apparaat alleen op een geschikte plaats

Het apparaat alleen in droge omgevingen gebruiken.
De plaats waar het apparaat wordt gebruikt, dient droog en koel maar

vorstvrij te zijn.
Tijdens het laden moet het apparaat warmte kunnen afgeven, daarom dienen

de ventilatiesleuven vrij te zijn.
Neem de acculader hiervoor uit de koffer.
Niet laden in een afgesloten omhulling.

De C4/36-DC acculader alleen op geventileerde, schaduwrijke en schone
plaatsen in het voertuig gebruiken.

5.2 Apparaat inschakelen

Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

AANWIJZING

Nadat de stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact is gestoken, brandt
het groene lampje.

5.3 C4/36DC acculader inschakelen

AANWIJZING

Bij het opladen van de Hilti accu's met de C4/36-DC acculader kan de
startaccu van het voertuig zo ver worden ontladen, dat deze niet meer werkt.

AANWIJZING

Afhankelijk van de werking van het voertuig wordt de acculader direct
verzorgd of nadat het contact is ingeschakeld.

Steek de stekker in de sigarettenaanstekeraansluiting.

AANWIJZING

Nadat de stekker van het apparaat is aangesloten, brandt het groene lampje
bij een correcte ingangsspanning continu.

6 Bediening

6.1 Accu aanbrengen en opladen 3

ATTENTIE
Zorg ervoor dat de buitenzijde van de accu schoon en droog is voordat

ATTENTIE

Niet-goedgekeurde accu's mogen niet worden opgeladen. Dit kan persoon­lijk letsel, vuur, brand en vernietiging van de accu en de acculader tot gevolg
hebben.

AANWIJZING

Controleer voor het plaatsen van de accu in de acculader of de contacten
schoon en vetvrij zijn.

Schuifdeaccuindedaarvoorbestemde aansluiting.
Let erop dat de geometrie/codering van de accu in overeenstemming is met

de aansluiting.
Na het vergrendelen van de accu in de acculader start het laden automatisch!

AANWIJZING

– De accu ondervindt geen schade, ook niet wanneer hij gedurende

lange tijd in de acculader blijft. In dit geval dient de acculader zich
in bedrijfstoestand te bevinden (groene LED van de acculader
brandt). Als de accu volledig is opgeladen, dooft na enige tijd de
laadtoestandindicatie. Om deze weer te kunnen activeren, moet de
accu van de acculader worden genomen. Uit veiligheidsoverwegingen
wordt aanbevolen om de accu uit de acculader te nemen nadat het
laden is beëindigd.

– Liion accu's zijn altijd gebruiksklaar, ook wanneer ze ten dele zijn

opgeladen. De voortgang van het laden wordt op het apparaat
aangegeven via de LED's.

6.2 Accu verwijderen 4

1. Druk een of beide ontgrendelingsknoppen in.

2. Trek de accu naar achteren uit het apparaat.

6.3 Onderhoud van de Liion accu's

Voorkom dat er vocht binnendringt.
Om ervoor te zorgen dat de accu's de maximale levensduur bereiken, dient

u deze niet meer te ontladen zodra het vermogen duidelijk vermindert.

AANWIJZING

Gebruikt u het apparaat nog langer, dan wordt het ontladen automatisch
beëindigd voordat er cellen kunnen worden beschadigd.

Laad de accu's op met de goedgekeurde acculaders van Hilti voor Liion
accu's.

AANWIJZING

– Het is niet nodig om de accu's een opfrislading te geven, zoals bij

NiCd- of NiMH-accu's.

– Wanneer het laden wordt onderbroken, beïnvloedt dit de levensduur

van de accu's niet.

– Het laden kan op ieder moment worden gestart zonder dat de

levensduur wordt beïnvloed. Er is geen sprake van een memory-effect,
zoals bij NiCd- of NiMH-accu's.

– Deaccu'skunnenhetbestvollediggeladenenzokoelendroog

mogelijk worden bewaard. Het is ongunstig om de accu's te bewaren
bij hoge omgevingstemperaturen (achter ruiten). Hierdoor wordt de
levensduur van de accu's en het zelfontladingspercentage van de
cellen beïnvloed.

– Wordt de accu niet meer volledig geladen, dan is de capaciteit door

veroudering of overbelasting verminderd. Het is nog mogelijk met deze
accu te werken. De accu moet echter zo snel mogelijk door een nieuw
exemplaar worden vervangen.

6.4 Indicatie-elementen op de acculader

6.5 Indicatie-elementen op de accu 2

6.5.1 Indicatie van de voortgang van het laden

Brandt het groene lampje van de acculader ononderbroken, dan geeft het
knipperen van een lampje op de accu de voortgang van het laden aan.

6.5.2 Aanduiding van de boven / ondertemperatuur

Als de accu te warm of te koud is, wordt dat aangegeven door het knipperen
van het groene lampje van de acculader. De LED's op de accu geven daarbij
de laadtoestand van de Liion accu aan.

6.5.3 Aanduiding defecte accu

Brandt het groene lampje op de acculader continu en zijn alle lampjes op
de accu uit, dan trekt u de accu uit de acculader. Blijven de lampjes na

activering van de laadtoestandindicatie op de accu uit, dan is de accu
defect. Laat de accu in het Hilti Centre controleren.

7 Verzorging en onderhoud

ATTENTIE
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.

WAARSCHUWING
Reparaties aan elektrische onderdelen en vervanging van het netsnoer
mogen alleen door een elektrotechnicus worden uitgevoerd.

7.1 Verzorging van het apparaat

ATTENTIE
Het apparaat, in het bijzonder de greepgedeelten, schoon en vrij van olie
en vet houden. Gebruik geen siliconenhoudende reinigingsmiddelen.

Gebruik het apparaat nooit met verstopte ventilatiesleuven! Reinig de
ventilatiesleuven voorzichtig met een droge borstel. Voorkom dat vuildeeltjes
in het apparaat kunnen binnendringen. Reinig de buitenkant van het
apparaat regelmatig met een licht bevochtigde poetsdoek. Gebruik geen
sproeiapparaat, stoomstraalapparaat of stromend water voor het reinigen!
De elektrische veiligheid van het apparaat kan daardoor in gevaar komen.

8 Afval voor hergebruik recyclen

GEVAAR

Wanneer de uitrusting op ondeskundige wijze wordt afgevoerd, kunnen zich
de volgende situaties voordoen:

Bij het verbranden van kunststofonderdelen ontstaan giftige verbrandings­gassen, waardoor er personen ziek kunnen worden.

Batterijenkunnenontploffenendaarbij,wanneerzebeschadigdofsterk
verwarmd worden, vergiftigingen, brandwonden (door brandend zuur) of
milieuvervuiling veroorzaken.

Wanneer het apparaat niet zorgvuldig wordt afgevoerd, bestaat de kans
datonbevoegdepersonendeuitrustingopondeskundigewijzegebruiken.
Hierbij kunt u zichzelf en derden ernstig letsel toebrengen en het milieu
vervuilen.

ATTENTIE

Voer defecte accu's onmiddellijk op een verantwoorde wijze af. Houd deze
uit de buurt van kinderen. Haal de accu's niet uit elkaar en verbrand ze niet.

ATTENTIE

Voer de accu's volgens de nationale voorschriften af of geef verbruikte
accu's terug aan Hilti.

Hilti-apparaten zijn voor een groot deel vervaardigd uit materiaal dat kan
worden gerecycled. Voor hergebruik is een juiste materiaalscheiding nood­zakelijk. In veel landen is Hilti er al op ingesteld om uw oude apparaat voor
recycling terug te nemen. Vraag hierover informatie bij de klantenservice
van Hilti of bij uw verkoopadviseur.

2 Υποδείξεις για την ασφάλεια

2.1 Γενικές υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ! Διαβάστε όλες τις οδηγίες. Η μη τήρηση των παρακάτω

αναφερόμενων οδηγιών μπορεί να προκαλέσει ηλεκτροπληξία, πυρκαγιά
και/ή σοβαρούς τραυματισμούς. ΦΥΛΑΞΤΕ ΚΑΛΑ ΑΥΤΕΣ ΤΙΣ ΟΔΗΓΙΕΣ.

2.1.1 Χώρος εργασίας

a) Φροντίστε για καλό φωτισμό της περιοχής εργασίας.
b) Δεν επιτρέπονται οι παραποιήσεις ή οι μετατροπές στο εργαλείο.
c) Η συσκευή δεν προβλέπεται για στερέωση σε τοίχο.
d) Διατηρείτε το χώρο εργασίας σας καθαρό και τακτοποιημένο. Η

αταξία στο χώρο εργασίας και οι μη φωτισμένες περιοχές μπορεί να
οδηγήσουν σε ατυχήματα.

e) Μην εργάζεστε με τη συσκευή σε περιβάλλον επικίνδυνο για εκρή-

ξεις, στο οποίο υπάρχουν εύφλεκτα υγρά, αέρια ή σκόνη. Από τους
φορτιστές μπορεί να δημιουργηθούν σπινθήρες, οι οποίοι μπορεί να
αναφλέξουν τη σκόνη ή τις αναθυμιάσεις.

f) Κατά τη χρήση του φορτιστή κρατάτε μακριά τα παιδιά και άλλα

πρόσωπα.

g) Ασφαλίζετε πάντα τον φορτιστή C4/36DC από ολίσθηση στο

όχημα.

2.1.2 Ηλεκτρική ασφάλεια

a) Το φις σύνδεσης της συσκευής πρέπει να ταιριάζει στην πρίζα. Δεν

επιτρέπεται σε καμία περίπτωση η μετατροπή του φις. Τα φις που

δεν έχουν υποστεί μετατροπές και οι κατάλληλες πρίζες μειώνουν τον
κίνδυνο ηλεκτροπληξίας.

b) Αποφεύγετε την επαφή του σώματος με γειωμένες επιφάνειες,

όπως σωλήνες, καλοριφέρ, ηλεκτρικές κουζίνες και ψυγεία. Υπάρ­χει αυξημένος κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας, όταν το σώμα σας είναι γειω­μένο.

c) Μη χρησιμοποιείτε το καλώδιο για να μεταφέρετε ή να αναρτήσετε

τη συσκευή ή για να τραβήξετε το φις από την πρίζα. Κρατάτε
το καλώδιο μακριά από υψηλές θερμοκρασίες, λάδια, αιχμηρές

ακμές ή περιστρεφόμενα μέρη της συσκευής. Τα ελαττωματικά ή τα
περιστραμμένα καλώδια αυξάνουν τον κίνδυνο ηλεκτροπληξίας.

d) Χρησιμοποιείτε τον φορτιστή μόνο σε στεγνό περιβάλλον. Ηει-

σχώρηση νερού σε μια ηλεκτρική συσκευή αυξάνει τον κίνδυνο ηλεκτρο­πληξίας.

e) Εάν κατά την εργασία υποστεί ζημιά το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας ή

η μπαλαντέζα, δεν επιτρέπεται να ακουμπήσετε το καλώδιο.
Αποσυνδέστε το φις από την πρίζα. Εάν τα καλώδια σύνδεσης και

προέκτασης έχουν υποστεί ζημιά αποτελούν κίνδυνο για ηλεκτροπληξία.

f) Ποτέ μη χρησιμοποιείτε το εργαλείο όταν είναι λερωμένο ή βρεγ-

μένο. Η σκόνη, ιδίως αγώγιμων υλικών, ή η υγρασία που πιθανόν να
υπάρχει στην επιφάνεια της συσκευής ενδέχεται να οδηγήσουν υπό δυ­σμενείς συνθήκες σε ηλεκτροπληξία. Για αυτόν το λόγο αναθέτετε στο
σέρβιςτηςHiltiναελέγχειτακτικάταλερωμέναεργαλεία,ιδίωςεάν
κόβετε συχνά αγώγιμα υλικά.

g) Ο φορτιστής C 4⁄36DC δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιείται με

καλώδιο προέκτασης. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος πυρκαγιάς.

2.1.3 Ασφάλεια προσώπων

a) Μη φοράτε κοσμήματα, όπως δαχτυλίδια ή αλυσίδες. Τα κοσμήματα

μπορεί να προκαλέσουν βραχυκύκλωμα και εγκαύματα.

b) Φροντίστε ώστε ο φορτιστής να έχει καλή ευστάθεια. Μια επανα-

φορτιζόμενη μπαταρία ή ένας φορτιστής που έχει πέσει κάτω μπορεί να
θέσει σε κίνδυνο εσάς και άλλους.

c) Αποφύγετε να ακουμπάτε τις επαφές.
d) Όταν παρέλθει η διάρκεια ζωής τους πρέπει να διαθέσετε τις

μπαταρίες στα απορρίμματα με τρόποφιλικόπροςτοπεριβάλλον
και με ασφάλεια.

e) Αυτή η συσκευή μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί από παιδιά άνω των 8 ετών

καθώς και από άτομα με μειωμένες φυσικές, αισθητικές ή πνευματικές
ικανότητες ή με έλλειψη πείρας και γνώσης, εφόσον επιβλέπονται ή
έχουν ενημερωθεί σχετικά με την ασφαλή χρήση της συσκευής και
κατανοούν τους κινδύνους που απορρέουν από την χρήση. Τα παιδιά
δεν επιτρέπεται να παίζουν με τη συσκευή. Ο καθαρισμός και η
συντήρηση χρήστη δεν επιτρέπεται να διενεργείται από παιδιά χωρίς
επίβλεψη.

f) Θα πρέπει να έχετε μάθει στα παιδιά, ότι δεν επιτρέπεται να

παίζουν με τη συσκευή.

2.1.4 Επιμελής χειρισμός και χρήση φορτιστών

a) Φορτίζετε με τον φορτιστή μόνο εγκεκριμένες επαναφορτιζόμενες

μπαταρίες της Hilti.

b) Φροντίζετε σχολαστικά τη συσκευή. Ελέγχετε εάν έχουν σπάσει

κάποια εξαρτήματα ή έχουν υποστεί ζημιά επηρεάζοντας έτσι αρ­νητικά τη λειτουργία της συσκευής. Δώστε τα χαλασμένα εξαρτή­ματα για επισκευή πριν χρησιμοποιήσετε ξανά τη συσκευή.

c) Χρησιμοποιείτε τις συσκευές και τις επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες

σύμφωνα με τις παρούσες οδηγίες και έτσι όπως προβλέπεται για
τον εκάστοτε τύπο συσκευής. Η χρήση φορτιστών για εφαρμογές

διαφορετικές από τις προβλεπόμενες μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε επικίνδυνες
καταστάσεις.

d) Σε περίπτωση αντικατάστασης της ασφάλειας στον αναπτήρα χρησι-

μοποιήστε αποκλειστικά και μόνο τον τοποθετημένο τύπο (5x20 mm⁄
250 V⁄ 8A).

e) Φορτίζετε τις μπαταρίες μόνο με φορτιστές που προτείνονται από

τον κατασκευαστή. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος πυρκαγιάς σε φορτιστές που
είναι κατάλληλοι για ένα συγκεκριμένο είδος μπαταριών, όταν χρησιμο­ποιούνται με άλλες μπαταρίες.

f) Κρατήστε τις μπαταρίες που δε χρησιμοποιείτε ή το φορτιστή μα-

κριά από συνδετήρες, κέρματα, κλειδιά, καρφιά, βίδες και άλλα
μεταλλικά μικροαντικείμενα, που θα μπορούσαν να προκαλέσουν
γεφύρωση των μπαταριών ή των επαφών φόρτισης. Ένα βραχυκύ-

κλωμα μεταξύ των επαφών της μπαταρίας ή των επαφών φόρτισης μπο­ρεί να έχει ως συνέπεια εγκαύματα ή πυρκαγιά.

g) Σε περίπτωση λανθασμένης χρήσης μπορούν να διαρρεύσουν υγρά

από την μπαταρία. Αποφεύγετε κάθε είδους επαφή. Σε περίπτωση
ακούσιας επαφής, ξεπλύνετε με νερό. Εάν τα υγρά έρθουν σε
επαφή με τα μάτια σας, επισκεφθείτε επιπρόσθετα ένα γιατρό.

Τα υγρά της μπαταρίας ενδέχεται να προκαλέσουν ερεθισμούς ή
εγκαύματα στο δέρμα.

h) Φροντίστεώστεναμηνυποστούνμηχανικέςζημιέςοιεπαναφορτι-

ζόμενες μπαταρίες.

i) Οι επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες (για παράδειγμα μπαταρίες με

ρωγμές, σπασμένα τμήματα, λυγισμένες και/ή στραβωμένες επα­φές) δεν επιτρέπεται ούτε να φορτίζονται ούτε να εξακολουθούν
να χρησιμοποιούνται.

2.1.5 Σέρβις

Αναθέστε την επισκευή της συσκευής σας μόνο σε εκπαιδευμένο
εξειδικευμένο προσωπικό χρησιμοποιώντας μόνο γνήσια ανταλλακτικά.

Έτσι διασφαλίζεται ότι θα διατηρηθεί η ασφάλεια της συσκευής.

3Περιγραφή

3.1 Κατάλληλη χρήση

H συσκευή χρησιμεύει στη φόρτιση των επαναφορτιζόμενων μπαταριών
ιόντων λιθίου (LiIon) της Hilti με ονομαστική τάση 7,2 έως 36 Volt.

Οι φορτιστές C 4/36-90 και C 4⁄36350 προορίζονται για σύνδεση σε πρίζες
εναλλασσόμενης τάσης 100 έως 240 Volt (ανάλογα με τη χώρα).

Ο φορτιστής C 4/36-DC προορίζεται για σύνδεση σε πρίζα αναπτήρα με
συνεχές ρεύμα 12 ή 24 Volt.

Οι ακόλουθες επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες είναι εγκεκριμένες για χρήση
σε αυτούς τους φορτιστές: B 12/2.6 LiIon με τον αντάπτορά της CA­B12, B 14/1.6 LiIon, B 14/3.3 LiIon, B 22/1.6 LiIon, B 22/2.6 (01) LiIon,
B 22/2.6 (02) LiIon, B 22/3.3 LiIon, B 22/5.2 (01) LiIon, B 36/3.0 LiIon,
B 36/3.9 LiIon, B 36/6.0 LiIon.

Προσέξτε τις εθνικές απαιτήσεις προστασίας κατά την εργασία.
Ακολουθήστε επίσης τις υποδείξεις ασφαλείας και χειρισμού των αξεσουάρ

που χρησιμοποιείτε.
Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο εγκεκριμένες επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες για την

αποφυγή κινδύνων.
Μην χρησιμοποιείτε τις επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες ως πηγές ενέργειας

για καταναλωτές που δεν αναφέρονται ρητά.
Η συσκευή προορίζεται για τον επαγγελματία χρήστη και ο χειρισμός, η

συντήρηση και η επισκευή του επιτρέπεται μόνο από εξουσιοδοτημένο,
ενημερωμένο προσωπικό. Το προσωπικό αυτό πρέπει να έχει ενημερωθεί
ειδικά για τους κινδύνους που ενδέχεται να παρουσιαστούν. Από τη
συσκευή και τα βοηθητικά της μέσα ενδέχεται να προκληθούν κίνδυνοι,
όταν ο χειρισμός της γίνεται με ακατάλληλο τρόπο από μη εκπαιδευμένο
προσωπικό ή όταν δεν χρησιμοποιούνται με κατάλληλο τρόπο.

Επιτρέπεται να λειτουργεί μόνο με την ονομαστική τάση και συχνότητα
τροφοδοσίας που αναφέρεται στην πινακίδα τύπου.
