Bridge mode configuration

. Brief introduction

HLK-RM08K is a new low-cost embedded UART-ETH-WIFI module (serial port - Ethernet - Wireless

network) developed by Shenzhen Hi-Link co., Ltd

This product is an embedded module based on the universal serial interface network standard, built-in TCP /

IP protocol stack, enabling the user serial port, Ethernet, wireless network (wifi) interface between the

conversions.

Through the HLK-RM08K module, the traditional serial devices do not need to change any configuration;

data can be transmitted through the Internet network. Provide a quick solution for the user’s serial devices to

transfer data via Ethernet.

二. Bridge mode configuration at web page

1. Restore factory setting. Power on 5V/350MA, and wait for 20s. Pull down ES1 pin more then 6S after

setting up. The system will restart automatically. Then the system is on the factory mode.

2. Connect LAN of module and com port of PC by using net cable.and set the PC static IP :

192.168.16.210 .

3. Open web browser input http://192.168.16.254/wz.htm and http://192.168.16.254/ser2net.htm

(serial parameters interface).

Configure bridge mode at the router webpage interface http://192.168.16.254/wz.htm

4. Choose the bridge mode

5. Input the WIFI SSID and password of the
upper router the module added.

6. Set the module IP and router at same network segment.

7. After module restart,then it could connect the internet with LAN and WAN. And the IP got is the one

bridge upper router, it is in different network segment from module.

But if needed, it could change the module’s IP into same network segment with upper IP.

Note : In bridge mode,serial transparent transmission is working in the local network,could not transparent

transmission to extra net.
