3.0 HBA! This 4 PCIe 2.0 x4 controller card sports four independent USB 3.0 which are powered by dedicated 5Gb/s controllers and UAS technology. The RocketU 1144D is optimized for USB 3.0 storage devices and peripherals, and is well suited for a wide-range of applications including portable/removable storage, storage expansion, personal media libraries, and backup solutions.

UAS Performance Boost

RocketU HBA’s can deliver even higher levels of performance when paired with UAS capable storage devices, such as RocketStor USB 3.0 Storage Docks. The speed and efficiency advantages provided by UAS technology are ideal for multi-tasking and performance-hungry applications.

UAS (USB Attached SCSI) is a computer protocol that is used to transfer data to and from USB storage devices. UAS is dependent on the USB protocol, and utilizes the standard SCSI command set.
