Enclosure Setup
1. If using 3.5” HDDs, use the 3.5” mounting screws to connect the
HDDs to the tray in the locations shown below

2. If using 2.5” SSDs, please use the 2.5” mounting screws to connect
the SSDs to the tray in the locations shown below
3. Connect the RocketStor 6674T to the host system with the
ThunderboltTM cable, and then connect the RocketStor 6674T to
both power receptacles
4. With the power cord connected to the power source, turn on the
RocketStor 6674T using the power switch on (“I” position) on the
rear panel
Setting up the RocketStor 6674T (Mac)
1. Go to http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA_new/series-rs6674t-
download.htmto download and extract both folders from the Mac
Software Package
2. Mount and enter the RSWebGUI_Mac folder and run the
installation file
3. Mount and enter the driver folder and run the HighPointRR.pkg
installation file

4. After installation, restart your computer
5. Select the Apple logo in the top left of the screen and select
About this Mac. Then, select the System Report button.
6. Select the PCI tab on the left and double check the RocketRAID
840A SATA Controller is detected to ensure the driver is installed
Setting up the RocketStor 6674T (Windows)
1. Go to http://www.highpoint-tech.com/USA_new/series-rs6674t-
download.htmto download and extract both folders from the
Windows Software Package

2. Enter the RocketStor_Manager_Win folder and run the
HighPointRocketStor Management.exe file to install the
HighPointRocketStor Manager, which allows you to analyze the
RAID array
3. Enter the Windows driver folder and run the setup.exe
application
4. After installation, restart your computer
5. To double check the installation, first right click on the Windows
start logo and select Device Manager
6. Then, under Storage Controllers, make sure RocketRAID 840A
SATA Controller is present
