4.1 What’s in the box

4.2 Connecting the RocketStor 5411D (RS5411D)
Steps:
1) Connect the Power Adapter to the RocketStor 5411D.
2) Connect the RocketStor 5411D to the host system with the
USB 3.0 cable.
3) Power on the RS5411D with the built-in power button.
Note: The Power button of RS5411D is also used to power off the device. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power of the device.
4.3 Driver installation
1) Mac OS X and Windows 7 and later include driver support
for the RocketStor 5411D, and will automatically recognize the device.
For Windows, please make use the host system’s USB controller driver is correctly installed.
2) Driver Installation: Ethernet
The Ethernet driver is available from the RS5411D’s Resources page:

The software CD also includes a copy of the Ethernet driver.
For Mac OS X: Double click the .dmg file to install the Ethernet driver for the RS5411D. For Windows: Double click the .exe file to install the Ethernet driver for the RS5411D.
4.4 SATA Drives Installation and Ejection
The RocketStor 5411D supports 2.5” and 3.5” SATA SSD’s and hard drives devices of any performance level and capacity.
Installing a Device - Carefully align the SATA device’s gold fingers with the bay’s SATA connector. Gently push the device straight down until secure.
Remove a Device - Hold the base of the RocketStor device and gently remove the drive by pulling straight upwards.
Note: The surface temperature of some 3.5" hard disks may exceed 50 degrees C. Carefully assess the surface temperature of any hard disk before removal.
