It will take about 20~30 seconds for DC-105 to boot.
When the boot process is completed, it begins to transmit the camera video from the yellow BNC
connector in DVB-T, and the CVBS output (thru the black BNC) is also present.
A yellow LED will be on when transmitter is on.
Note:
1. Default RF channel is CH21, Frequency: 474MHz, BW:8 MHz, unless specified.
2. When initialization done, “###Camera Boot Finished###” message will be shown in the UART
debug port output; refer to more details below.
Connect to a DVB-T receiver
1. Connect the video RF output to a coaxial cable (or an antenna). A DVB-T receiver can be
either DVB-T TV, DVB-T STB or DVB-T USB receiver dongle.
2. The video output is full HD 1920x1080x30P H.264 format. Please make sure your receiver is
capable of HD decoding. (Many old DVB-T STB’s or TV’s can only decode 720x576 SD).
3. Default RF channel is CH21, Frequency:474MHz, BW:8 MHz, unless specified.

In Kbps, find details below.
Note: it’s recommended that the [Video Bitrate] should be less
than [modulation data rate] by 20% at least.
If [modulation data rate] is too low, it may cause video glitch.
The modulation data rate ( channel capacity, maximum data bit rate or throughput) varies depending on the
transmission parameters.
The maximum date bit rate can be calculated as below.
Tbandwidth = {1000,000, 2000,000, 3000,000, 4000,000, 5,000,000,6,000,000, 7,000,000,
8,000,000} in Hz for 1~8MHz
Tcode_rate = {1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8}

Easy HD Expressway!
WWW.HIDES.COM.TW 13
TConstellation = {2, 4, 6} <- QPSK = 2, 16QAM=4, 64QAM = 6
TGuardInterval = {4/5, 8/9, 16/17, 32/33}, 1/4 = 4/5, 1/8 = 8/9, 1/16 => 16/17, 1/32 => 32/33}
2K/8K mode does not matter
Maximum bit rate = 1512 / 2048 * 188 / 204 * 64 / 56 * TBandwidth * Tcode_rate * TConstellation *
TGuardInterval (bps)
= 423 / 544 * TBandwidth * Tcode_rate * TConstellation * TGuardInterval (bps)
Refer to the table shown below.
The channel data rate MUST be larger than the video encoding bit rate.
