1. Allgemeines
Die Elektroheizer der DE-Reihe sind leichte, gut transportable Warmlufterzeuger. Die
Heizleistung ist 3-stufig einstellbar, die Luftmenge nicht. Ein Anschluss von
Luftleitungen bei den Geräten DE 10 E, DE 20 und DE 30 ist nicht zulässig. Der
Elektroheizer DE 20 S und DE 20 SH ist für Schlauchbetrieb mit einem maximal 7,5 m
langem Schlauch (Durchmesser 305 mm) geeignet. Es dürfen nur die dafür
vorgesehenen Schläuche verwendet werden.
Die Elektroheizer sind geeignet zur Punktbeheizung (z.B. von Maschinen oder von
Arbeitsplätzen) und zur Beheizung von geschlossenen Räumen. Sie sind für den
waagerechten Betrieb konstruiert.
Um eine Ausblastemperatur von bis zu 115°C beim DE 20 SH zu erreichen, muss das
Gerät im Umluftbetrieb betrieben werden. Die Ansaugtemperatur darf jedoch 60°C
nicht überschreiten
Der Anschluss eines Raumthermostaten ist möglich.
Alle Geräte sind typgeprüft nach DIN VDE 0700 Teil 1 und Teil 30
EN 60 335-1
EN 60 335-2-30
und tragen ein CE-Zeichen.

Inbetriebnahme
1. Für den Betrieb mit Raumthermostat muss die am Buchseneinsatz des Gerätes
befestigte Kappe entfernt werden. Nun kann der Thermostatstecker in die
Gerätebuchse gesteckt werden. Bei Betrieb ohne Raumthermostat muss immer die
Kappe montiert sein.
2. CEE-Stecker in die geeignete Steckdose stecken.
(Die Anschlusssteckdose muss geerdet sein)
3. Raumthermostat (Sonderzubehör) auf die gewünschte Temperatur einstellen.
4. Gewünschte Heizleistung einschalten bzw. Gerät einschalten (DE 10E).

4. Aufstellrichtlinien
1. Aufstellort
Die Geräte dürfen nicht an Orten betrieben werden, an denen zündfähige Gas-, Luftoder Staub-Luft-Gemische auftreten (z.B. Tankstellen, Lackierereien usw.) und auch
nicht dort, wo sie brennbare Kleinteile ansaugen, die an der Heizspirale entzündet und
glühend ausgeblasen werden können (z.B. Stroh, Papier, Sägespäne usw.).
Die Geräte DE 10 E, DE 20 und DE 30 dürfen nicht an Luftkanäle oder -schläuche
angeschlossen werden. Die Geräte DE 20 S und DE 20 SH sind für Schlauchbetrieb
mit maximal einem 7,5 m langen Schlauch (305 mm Durchmesser) geeignet. Es ist
darauf zu achten, dass der Schlauch möglichst gerade und ohne Knicke verlegt wird.
Bei unsachgemäßem Verlegen des Schlauches überhitzt das Gerät und der
Sicherheitstemperaturbegrenzer schaltet das Gerät ab.
2. Aufstellung
Elektroheizer dürfen nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Badewannen, Duschen,
Waschbecken oder Schwimmbecken betrieben werden.
3. Sicherheitsabstände zu brennbaren Teilen:
Seitlich: 0,60 m Ausblasseite: 2,00 m
Ansaugseite: 0,20 m Nach oben: 2,00 m
Die Elektroheizer dürfen nicht mit Textilien bedeckt werden!
Fußboden und Decke müssen feuerhemmend sein. Ansaug- und Ausblasstutzen
dürfen nicht verengt werden.
4. Bei Verwendung auf dem Bau müssen die Sicherheitsrichtlinien der Bau-
Berufsgenossenschaften eingehalten werden.
5. Bei Verwendung in der Landwirtschaft gelten die Vorschriften der
landwirtschaftlichen
Berufsgenossenschaften und Sachversicherer.
6. Gesetzliche Vorschriften: folgende Vorschriften sind bei Aufstellung und
Inbetriebnahme zu beachten:
Arbeitsstättenverordnung §§ 5 und 14
Arbeitsstättenrichtlinie ASR 5
Unfallverhütungsvorschriften VBG 43
erhältlich bei: Deutsches Informationszentrum für technische Regeln (DITR) im

7. Das Gerät darf nicht unter Wandsteckdosen betrieben werden.

1. General
The electric heaters of the DE series are lightweight warm air generators, which are
well transportable. The heating output can be adjusted in three steps; the air flow
cannot be adjusted. The connection of air ducts is not permissible for devices DE 10 E,
DE 20 and DE 30. Electric heaters DE 20 S and DE 20 SH are suitable for the duct
operation with a maximum duct length of 7.5 m (diameter 305 mm). Only ducts
intended for that should be used.
The electric heater is suitable for point heating (e.g. machine or workspace) or heating
of closed rooms. They are designed for horizontal operation.
To get a blow out temperatur up to 115°C for the DE 20SH, you have to practice the
devices by recirculated-air operation. But the intake temperatur must not exceed 60°C.

Startup
1. For operation with room thermostat the cap attached to the socket insert of the
device must be removed. Now the thermostat plug can be plugged into the device
socket. For operation without room thermostat the cap must be always installed.
2. Plug CEE plugs into suitable socket outlets.
(The socket must be earthed.)
3. Adjust room thermostat (optional accessory) to the desired temperature.
4. Switch desired heating output or device (DE 10E) on.

4. Installation guidelines
1. Installation location
Devices must not be operated at locations, where ignitable gas, air or dust-air mixes
occur (e.g. gas stations, paint shops) and also not at locations, where they can suck in
flammable small parts, which could ignite on the heater coil and be blown out blistering
(e.g. straw, paper, sawdust).
Devices DE 10 E, DE 20 and DE 30 must not be connected to air ducts and hoses.
Electric heaters DE 20 S and DE 20 SH are suitable for the duct operation with a
maximum duct length of 7.5 m (diameter 305 mm). It should be ensured to route the
ducts as straight as possible and without any bends. In case of improper duct routing
the device overhears and the safety temperature limiter switches the device off.
2. Installation
Electric heaters must not be operated in the direct proximity to bathtubs, showers,
sinks or swimming pools.
3. Safety distance to flammable parts:
Laterally: 0.60 m Blowing out side: 2.00 m
Intake side: 0.20 m Upwards: 2.00 m
The electric heaters must not be covered with clothing!
Floor and ceiling must be fire-resistant. Intake and exhaust nozzles should not be
narrowed.
4. For operation at construction sites the safety guidelines of the Construction
Employer's Liability Insurance Association must be observed.
5. For operation in agriculture the provisions of the Agriculture Employer's Liability
Insurance Association and Property shall apply.
6. Statutory provisions: the following provisions must be observed during installation
and setup:

Accident Prevention Regulations VBG 43

7. The device must not be operated underneath wall outlets.
