IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This manual has important information for the use and safe operation of this machine. Read thoroughly and under stand all warnings before us ing.
Read all the instructions before using machine To reduce risk of injury, close s upervisi on is n ec essary when the mach ine is used near
children. Do not allow children to operate pressure washer at any time.
Know how to s top the mac hine and bleed pressu r e quic k ly. Keep operating area clear of all p er s ons. Follow th e m aintenance in str uct ions specified in the manual. Operate th is unit in a well ventilated area. Wear protec tive eye wear & c lothing when op er ating.
Do not operate the mac hine when fatigued or under th e influence of alc ohol or d rug s . Do not overreach or stand on unstable supp ort. Keep good footing and balanc e at all times . To prev ent f ir e hazard, do not us e with or n ear inflam m ables such as gasoline, grain dus t,
sol ven ts and thinner s . Do not sp r ay flammable liquids.
Never add gasolin e to a hot eng ine as th is c an r es ult in a f ir e or exp losion. Allow engine to
cool before refueling.
Never direct spray at pressure washer unit. Keep water spray away from an y elect r ic al wiring .

Change oil in pump after the first 50 hours, then every 500 h ours. Use 30W No n-Dete rgent Hydraulic oi l.

Chang e engine oil as s pecif ied by the Honda. S ee Honda owner s manual. Do Not run was her longer than 3 minutes with gun closed, as this can res ult in
damage to the seals. Heat generated by the re-circulating water can damage seals. Avoid freezing pump. Dr ain unit prior to st or age, or ru n an antif r eeze solution through pump. Ensure the pump and hoses are com pl etely bl ed of all liquid.

1.Verify that the vented YELLOW dip stick is installed in the pressure washer pump. Remove the RED shipping plug (if
present) from top of the pump and replace it with the YELLOW oil level dipstick provided. Fig. 1 Pump oil should
be visible half way up sight glass. Use 30W non-detergent hydraulic oi l.
2.Before first use, check engine and pump oil levels.
For shipping purposes, engine oil has not been added.
Befo re each use, chec k engi ne oil leve l by unscre wi ng t he oil
dipstick. Add motor oil (con sult Honda manual for correct grade) as requi red to bri ng to pro per lev el, appro ximate ly mid- way o n dipstick.
3.Check water supply volume. To operate correctly, the unit requires a water s upply 25% greater t han the units output. (i .e. Mo del APS2500 = 4 GPM (gallo ns per mi nute), o f water flow). Damage to the pump will occur if there is not enough volume. To check the water supply volume, obtain a empty 5 gallon container and record the time it takes to fill the container. It sho uld be within the required GPM, if it is not t hen you should find anoth e r water supply.
4.Connect a minimum 5/8” diameter garden hose to the water inlet or bottom connection on the pump head (Female hose connecto r). Fig. 4
5.Connect the hi gh pressure hose to t he water “O utlet”o r upper connectio n o n the pump head. (M ale quic k co nnect nipp le) as shown in Fig. 5.
6.Turn the unloader knob on top of the pump head counter clockwise to reduce the pressure prior to starting the engin e.
7.Remo ve hig h pres sure nozz le fro m quick c oupler & o pen gun. This will allow pump to be fully primed before starting engine.
8.Turn on the water supply and make sure that there is n o leaks

9.Trigger t he sp ray gun to p urge all ai r fro m the system, PRIOR to starting engine.
10.Start the engine by following this procedure:
a) - Turn the ON/OFF switch to ON. b) - Turn the GAS to ON. c) - Turn the CHOKE to FULL. d) - Push the THROTTLE lever to th e ON position. e) - Pull the STARTING cord. Gun should be held open ,with
water flowing freely while pulling starting cord.
f) - O nce the e ngi ne has sta rted, re duce t he CHOKE until it is
OFF, and o pe n t he TH ROT TLE to full ON. It i s now saf e to release trigger t o t he of f po sitio n. Use these ins tructi ons in
conjunction with instructions provided in the Honda manual.
