Welcome to the nerve center of the patient area

This is the place where nurses update charts,
physicians enter orders, and a unit secretary
records a new patient. It is a medication area,
a nourishment area, a dictation area, and a storage
area. It is the place where patients are monitored
and digital images are studied, where colleagues
consult and family and friends find help. And it
may house anywhere from two to 20 caregivers,
depending on the time of day.

This constant interplay of activities will best be
served by agile and responsive work areas.
