Materials Identication and Segregation:
Where possible, plastic components are marked with ASTM recycling codes. Use
these codes to identify material type for recycling. Non marked components should
be treated as mixed plastic. Ferrous metals can be identied using a small magnet
for recycling. Non-ferrous metals should be separated and recycled separately.

2. Pull off the frame cap.

wrench remove both side
screws from seat frame.
5. Remove seat back from
snaps from seat frame.
6. Using needle nose pliers,

clip from seat frame and set
clip aside. Repeat to remove
from other side.

frame insert up and out of
each support frame. Slide
back support frames
partially out of tilt .
screwdriver remove the
screw from frame insert.
Repeat the step to remove
the screw from other side
frame.
17. Remove frame inserts
and remove lumbar from
back support frames.

18. Remove both side seat
frames.

19. Using allen wrench
20. Remove the steel
remove the two screws from
steel weldment.
21. Using straight head
weldment.
22. Pull exible cover back
screwdriver, pry up and
remove x-mas tree clip,
securing rear tilt cover to tilt
housing. Dispose of x-mas
tree clip properly.

27. Slide arm pad to
28. Remove arm pad
outermost position and insert
straight head screwdriver
against inside of retainer
clip. Pry clip outward while
lifting up on arm pad.
29. Using ratchet and T-27
properly.

Torx bit, remove and save
screws (noted) that secure
one side of seat linkage
assembly to tilt assembly.
Repeat for opposite side of
seat linkage assembly.

31. Remove tilt tension
adjustment knob by pulling
knob from shaft by hand.
32. Insert a screwdriver
behind the tilt cover push
forward and remove the tilt
cover.
33. Using needle nose
pliers, remove & save height
adjust cable from top of
pneumatic cylinder.

34. Place pneumatic
cylinder knock out tool with
open end over end of
pneumatic cylinder. Make
sure tool rests squarely on
top rim of pneumatic
cylinder.

cylinder knock out tool

hammer to dislodge
pneumatic cylinder from tilt.

to remove caster from base.
