In order to prevent the risks of a fire, an electrical shock, burns and other injuries, it is imperative to observe basic safety measures when using electrical appliances.
Please read the following information carefully before using the appliance for the first time for your own safety and to ensure correct use.
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
WARNING - to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property:
1. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating
as indicated on the product identification plate.
2. Remove the unit from its packaging and check to make sure it is in good condition before
using.
3. Do not let children play with parts of the packing ( such as plastic bags)
4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
6. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunctions,
or is dropped or appears damaged in any way. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
7. Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn the power off. When touching the unit,
be sure your hands are dry to prevent electrical s hock .
8. Ensure the cord is fully extended before use and arrange it so that it is not in contact with
any part of the heater.
9. In use, some parts of the heater are hot. When moving, hold the heater only by the handl e
provided.
10. Do not use the heater in areas such as garages where petrol, paint or other flammable
substances are used or stored.
11. Do not use near or point the heater to furniture, animals, curtains or other inflammable
objects. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, bedding and any other combustible materials at least 1 metre from the front and sides, and from the rear of the heater.
12. Do not place the cord under carpet or cover with throw rugs or furniture. Arrange the cord
so that it cannot be tripped over.
13. Do not place the heater on bedding or on thick and long pile carpet where the openings
may be blocked.
14. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product or flexible cord
to rain, moisture or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operati on of the product.

Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool, where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.
16. Switch off and unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling
parts and before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
17. A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust and fluff entering the heater. Ensure
these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the heater, allowing it to cool and cleaning as described in the Care, Cleaning and Storage section.
18. Be sure that no other high current appliances are plugged into the same circuit with your
heater as an overload can occur .
19. Avoid the use of an extension cord as the extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of
fire.
20. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
21. Do not use outdoors. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
22. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
23. Do not place objects on the product or allow objects to obstruct the inlet or outlet openings,
or operate in close proximity to walls or curtains, etc. Do not cover the unit when in operation.
24. Do not locate the heater immediately below a socket-outlet.
25. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor
may cause personal or property hazards or injuries.
26. This product is intended for normal domestic/household use only.
27. Use this heater as described in this manu al. Any ot her us es, not rec om m end ed by the
manufacturer, may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons and may void the warranty.
28. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this
appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
LOCATION
1.
The appliance should be placed with a minimum distance of 1 metre away from flammable objects (e.g. curtains), walls or other structures!
POWER CORD
1.
Use only an approved extension cord that is suitable for the appliance rating! Do not use the extension cord coiled up. Extend it to its full length, and use the minimum length required.
2. Do not lay the cord under a carpet. Do not lay rugs, mats or similar articles on it. Position the cord so that it does not pose an obstruction or a tripping hazard.
3. Never pull the plug out of the socket at the cord!
4. Always disconnect the mains plug when the appliance is not in use. Attention! The appliance may only be used for normal domestic use and not for industrial purpose.

BEFORE USE
1. Before use, remove all packaging and inspect the appliance for any damage. If there are
appears to be any damage, please take back to place of purchase for a replacement.
2. Ensure that the heater is not located directly under a power socket and that a power socket
is available to power the appl i ance.
USING THE HEATER
POWER AND HEAT SETTINGS
0..... OFF
*..... Fan only operation
I.....LOW heat setting (1000W)
II.....HIGH heat setting (2000W)
THERMOSTAT
Set the thermostat to "max." and operate the appliance until the desired room temperature is reached. Turn the thermostat anticlockwise until the appliance switches off with an audible "click".
This set temperature will be kept almost constant by the appliance switching on and off automatically.

Please note that the appliance does not switch on unless the thermostat setting is higher than the room temperature.
OSCILLATION
Turn on and off oscillation function using the oscillation switch. UP ----- OSCILLATION OFF DOWN ----- OSCILLATION ON
TIP OVER SWITCH
Your heater is designed to automatically shut the heater off when tipped over. The unit will automatically turn on once it is returned to its normal upright pos it ion.
Do not use on thick and long pile carpets, as the heater may not work, due to the tip over switch not been activated.
SAFETY SYSTEM
In the event of abnormal overheating, a safety device shuts down the appliance
automatically. After a short cooling down phase, the appliance is ready for use again.
If you still notice the same defect as above mentioned, remove the plug from the socket
and consult your authorized dealer to your after-sales service department.
During use, do not touch or cover the air outlet. This may cause the unit to over heat, and
the safety device to operate.
MAINTENANCE
Your appliance must be switch OFF via the main power supply and unplugged before
proceeding with any cleaning work.
Clean the housing with a lightly damp cloth, a vacuum cleaner or a dusting brush. Never use flammable or abrasive cleaning agents such as benzene or spirit to clean the
appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water! Clean the air inlet and outlet regularly with a vacuum cleaner. If the appliance is not used for an extended period it must be protected against excessive
dust and dirt. Please store the heater in a dry place away from sunlight and dirt.
