QUICK START CHECKLIST
WARNING!! The instruction manual must be read completely before operating the Comanche CX. It contains specifi c warnings about safety and use of the LiPo
fl ight battery supplied with the Comanche CX. All of these warnings and safety steps must be read and understood before proceeding to the next step.
1. Plug the charger into an AC outlet.
The indicator light on the charger should illuminate solid green.
Plug the battery into the charger and the indicator light will turn red. Once the charge process is complete the indicator light will turn green again. The charging process may take up to four hours.

3. Always turn the transmitter on fi rst and
then extend the transmitter antenna.
2. Install eight (8) “AA” batteries into
the battery box. Check the polarity of each battery.
4. With the Comanche CX sitting still on
its side, plug the battery into the E-Board. The Comanche CX will need to sit still for 10 seconds so the gyro can initialize and determine center. If the Comanche CX is moved during this initialization, the gyro will not operate properly.
5. Insert the battery into the battery
compartment. Place the connector and extra wiring into the fuselage, and close the battery door.
Always step 15 feet away from the Comanche CX before operating the throttle.
A safe start is built into the Comanche CX that prevents the motor from activating unless the collective stick has been lowered to the lowest position. If the motor won’t run and turn the main blades, please make sure the collective stick is all the way down and leave it there for a couple of seconds. Then try moving the stick up slowly.
6. Transmitter Controls:
Your Comanche CX is now ready to fl y. Please refer to the fl ying instructions on page 13 in the manual before operating the model.
