Congratulations for deciding to buy our article.
Our article is made out of sturdy, high value materials and will provide you with attractive lighting. The
article consists of a stable housing with a connection cable. It can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Please read through the installation and operation instructions carefully and keep these in a
safe place for later reference.
We do not accept any liability for damage to persons or property caused by not following the
instructions, or improper use or for changes made to the product.

Before Installation:
The article may only be used outside of the packaging.
Take the parts carefully out of the packaging.
Make sure, before using the lighting system that it has not been damaged during
transportation. The lighting system may not be operated if the cable or electrical parts are
damaged. Every piece of defective safety equipment has to be replaced. Repairs may only be
done by a specialist electrician.
Keep the packaging material well away from children and household pets. Danger of
suffocation!
Be careful. The packaging contains small parts which can be swallowed by small children.
Safety and warning notice:
Commissioning is strictly forbidden if there’s damage to the lights, plug or the supply line.
Never make your own repairs to faulty parts. Repairs must be done by trained specialists.
Never let children play unattended near the lights or other electrical devices.
Never expose the lights to a direct water jet (garden hose, or high pressure cleaner, for
example) and never immerse the lights into water or other liquids!
Do not expose the light to extreme heat or exposed flames.
The entire product must not be changed or modified. Changes made to the lighting set lead to
invalidation of the guarantee (warranty).

You must make sure that the power supply has been disconnected before cleaning.
Use a dry or a slightly moist cloth for cleaning.
Never use chemicals or abrasives for cleaning. Do not use road salt in the winter.

Disposal:
Used electronic devices must be brought back to public collection points and must not be
disposed of as household waste.
Installation:
Perform all handling operations on the luminant in a state without current.
Place the article in the place of choice while observing the safety and warning notes. Make
sure that no water can collect at the location.
Make sure that there are no obstacles to trip over in the accessible area when laying the
cable.
The cable must not be buried in the ground and must be kept free from leaves and dirt if
necessary.
Check the whole system at regular intervals for tightness, functionality and possible damage.
Check the proper connections once again.
The rating plate must not be removed.
Changing the luminant:
Only use a luminant which is specified in the technical data. The use of other luminants can
lead to overheating.
The power supply has to be disconnected before changing the luminant.
The light must be allowed to cool off over a sufficient period of time if it changed immediately
after it has failed.
Start by removing the top plate and safety glass. Remove the faulty luminant. Carefully insert
the new luminant into the holder and check that it is properly seated. Do not use force or
excessive pressure.
Continue by installing the top plate with the safety glass. Make sure you have a faultless,
clean seal and sealing surface when you reassemble the components. Make sure that the
seal and the top plates are properly seated . Faulty lamp covers have to be replaced
immediately.
Reconnect the voltage supply.
