LED Panels

These operating instructions apply exclusively to these products.
They contain important instructions for commissioning and handling the LED-Panels.
Please therefore follow these operating instructions, even if you pass this product on to third
parties.
It is important for this reason that you keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
1. Introduction
Dear Customer,
Many thanks for deciding to buy our product.
You have obtained a product from the Vollmer Company and this product has been manufactured in
compliance with the state of the art technology.
The LED-Panel meets the requirements of the European and national directives currently in force.
As a user, you must follow these operating instructions to maintain the condition of the product and to
operate it safely!
2. Safety notes
Damage caused by non-compliance with these operating instructions, invalidates all warranty claims!
We undertake no liability for consequent damages!
Commissioning the LED-Panel is strictly forbidden if there is damage.
Never let children play unattended near the LED-Panel or other electrical devices.
Do not expose the LED-Panel to extreme heat or open flames.
The entire product must not be converted or modified. Changes if made to the LED-Panel shall
invalidate the warranty.
The rating plate must not be removed.
Do not stare directly at the LED light beam.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable.
When the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
3. Intended Use
The LED panel is designed for indoor use in dry and protected conditions.
This product is only intended for lighting purposes and may:
only be operated with a voltage of 12V
only be operated when it is firmly attached to a stable, level and tilt-free base.
only be operated on normal or non-inflammable surfaces.
not be exposed to strong mechanical loads or large amounts of dirt.

4. Before installation/commissioning
The LED-Panel may only be operated after removing the packaging.
Take the LED-Panel carefully out of the packaging.
Before commissioning the LED-Panel make sure that it has not been damaged in transit. The LED-
Panel must not be operated if the electrical components have been damaged. Repairs may only be
undertaken by a specialist electrician.
Keep the packaging material well away from children and household pets. Danger of suffocation!
5. Installation/Commissioning
This product may only be installed by a qualified specialist electrician.
Before the installation is done, the connection lines to the building must be disconnected from the
power supply and protected against being switch on accidently. Take the appropriate automatic circuit
breakers out of the junction box in the building.
Make sure that the foundation is suitable to support the weight of the LED-Panel, permanently and
reliably.
Hold the panel / panel housing at the desired site of installation and mark the drill holes. Use suitable
screws to fasten the LED panel. Make sure that no connections are damaged.
Do not bend the cable; make sure that the cable and the plug are free from any tractive and torsional
forces. Protect all cables and insulations from any possible damage.
Check the proper connections once again.
Switch on the circuit breakers of the junction box in the building once again.
6. Functional faults
The LED panel does not switch on
Is the switch of the LED panel on the wall turned on?
Is the transformer correctly assembled and connected?
