Installation of the external fixation light
For shipping
purposes the external fixation light is demounted
and fixed to the head rest.
Insert the base of the fixation light into the protruding plug-in on
top of the head rest. Screw on the external fixation light.
Connect the USB cable

Mounting the base plate onto the table
The sc
rew holes for mounting the base plate onto the table are
located underneath the guide rails and the friction plate (see
image to the right). Remove both guide rails and the white
friction plate.
Mount the base plate onto the table using three recessed head
screws. These screws are part of the delivery.
The screws must not protrude out of the base plate. Then,
mount the guide rails and the friction plate back again.
The image to the right shows the bottom side of the camera
base.
Before installation on the base plate, remove the protective
rubber cap at the position of the joystick.

Mounting the guide rail
Remove the gear from the guide rail.
Slide the guide rail through the base.
Screw on the gear again.

Position the head rest on the base plate so that the joystick is
located above the friction surface and the
gear rails.
Fit one of the protective covers over the gear rail at the side
and slide the base forward up to the stop.
Check if the opposite gearwheel also rests on the last tooth of
the gear rail, i.e. if both gears are parallel.
Fit the second protective cover over the gear rail.

Mount the camera head to the base using two Allen screws.

Connect the cable for right/left (R/L) detection to the camera
base.
