When servicing , observe the orig ina l lea d dress. If a short circuit is found, replace all parts which
ha ve been overhea ted or damag ed by the short circuit.
Af ter servicing , see to it tha t a ll the protective devices such a s insula tion ba rriers, insula tion pa pers
shields a re properly insta lled.
Af ter servicing , ma ke the f ollow ing lea kag e current checks to prevent the custom er f rom being
exposed to shock haza rds.

Most im porta nt thing is to list up the potentia l haza rd or risk f or the service personnel to open
the units a nd disassem ble the units. For example, w e need to describe properly how to a void the
possibility to g et electrica l shock f rom the live pow er supply or charg ed electrica l pa rts (even the
pow er is off ).

1-2-2 . Be ca ref ul to the electrica l shock
To prevent damage which mig ht result in electric shock or f ire, do not expose this TV set to
ra in or excessive m oisture. This TV must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water, and
obj ects fi lled with liquid, such as vases, must not be placed on top of or above the TV.
1-2-3. Electrosta tic discha rge (E S D)
So m e se miconductor (solid st ate) devices c an be d amaged e asily by st atic electricity.
Such co mponents co mmonly are c alled Electrost atic ally Sensitive (E S) Devices. The follo win g
techniques should be used to help reduce the incidence of com ponent damag e ca used by
electrosta tic discha rg e (ES D).

Electrostatically Sensitive (ES) Devices
S om e sem iconductor (solid-sta te) devices ca n be damag ed ea sily by sta tic electricity. S uch
com ponents comm only a re ca lled Electrosta tica lly S ensitive (ES ) Devices. Exam ples of typical
ES devices a re integ ra ted circuits a nd som e f ield-eff ect tra nsistors a nd sem iconductor "chip"
com ponents. The f ollow ing techniques should be used to help reduce the ncidence of com ponent
damag e ca used by sta tic by sta tic electricity.
1. Immedia tely bef ore ha ndling any semiconductor co
asse mbly, dr ain o ff any electrost atic ch ar ge on your body by touchin g a kno wn e arth ground.
Altern atively, obt ain and we ar a co mmerci ally av ail able disch ar gin g wrist str ap device, which
should be rem oved to prevent potentia l shock rea sons prior to a pplying pow er to the unit under
test.
2 . Af ter rem oving a n electrica l a ssem bly equipped w ith ES devices, pla
conductive surfa ce such a s a lum inum foil, to prevent electrostatic charge buildup or exposure of
the a ssem bly.

This product is manufa ctured using lea d-f ree solder a s a pa rt of a movement within the
consum er products industry a t larg e to be environm enta lly responsible. Lea d-f ree solder m ust be
used in the servicing and repairing of this product.
1-2-5. Use the g enew ing pa rts (specifi ed pa rts)
S pecia l pa rts w hich ha ve purposes of fi re reta rd a nt (resistors), hi g h-qu a lity sound (c apa citors),
low noise (resistors), etc. a re used.
When repla cing any of components, be sure to use only manufacture's specifi ed pa rts show n in
the pa rts list.

1-2-6. Saf ety check af ter repa irm ent
Confi rm tha t the screw s, pa rts a nd w iring which were removed in order to service are put in the
orig ina l positions, or w hether there a re the positions w hich a re deteriora ted a round the serviced
pla ces serviced or not. Check the insula tion betw een the a ntenna term ina l or externa l m eta l a nd
the A C cord plug bla des. And be sure the safety of that.

General Servicing Precautions
1. A lwa ys unplug the receiver AC power cord from the AC power source before:
a . Rem oving or reinsta lling any component, circuit board module or any other receiver
a ssem bly.
b. Disconnecting or reconnecting
c. Connecting a test substitute in parallel with an electrolytic capacitor in the receiver.
a ny receiver electrica l plug or other electrica l connection.
CAUTION:

2. Test high voltage only by me asurin g it with an appropri ate high voltage meter or other voltage
me asurin g device (D VM, FET VOM, etc) equipped with a suit able hi gh volt age probe.
Do not test hig h voltag e by "draw ing an arc".

be m ore tha n Mohm by using the 500V insula tion resista nce m eter.

11. If the insula tion resista nce is less tha n M ohm , the inspection repa ir should be required.
If you ha ve not the 500V insula tion resista nce m eter, use a Tester. Externa l exposure m eta l:

12 . Use only a grounded-tip soldering iron to solder or unsolder ES devices.
13. Use only a n a nti-sta tic type solder rem ova l device. Som e solder rem ova l devices not
cla ssifi ed as "anti-static" can generate electrical charges suffi cient to damag e ES devices.
14. Do not use f reon-propelled chem ica ls. These ca n g enera te electrica l charg es suff icient to
damag e ES devices.

Este procedimento a seguir somente deve ser executado quando o equipamento apresentar anormalidade em sua operação, ou quando houver um comunicado oficial para realizar tal procedimento.
Não faça a atualização se o equipamento estiver funcionando corretamente.
Leia atentamente o procedimento todo e execute a tarefa conforme descrito a seguir.
Em caso de dúvidas, solicite sempre o auxílio do suporte técnico da H-Buster.

- Um pen-drive vazio e formatado (FAT32) - mí nimo 512MB;
- Controle remoto do equipamento;
- Versã o mais recente baixada do site de serviç os.
Para obter a versã o mais recente, entre no site de serviç os da H-Buster e faç a o download conforme o
modelo do equipamento e do painel de LCD (se houver). Em caso de dú vidas, entre em contato
com o suporte té cnico.

8-2-3. Copying the firmware to USB Memory Key (copiando o programa no pen-drive):
O arquivo que está no site de serviç os está “zipado (compactado).” Para descompactá -lo, é
necessá rio ter instalado em seu computador um programa descompactador (ex.: Winzip,
WinRAR, etc.) Salve no desktop e descompacte-o no PC. Se o programa descompactador criar
uma pasta, abra a pasta e copie para o pen-drive o arquivo que está dentro da pasta (NÃ O
COPIE A PASTA TODA).
O nome do arquivo a ser copiado para o pen-drive NÃ O DEVE SER ALTERADO, CASO
CONTRÁ RIO A TV N Ã O IRÁ RECONHECER O ARQUIVO!!
8-3. Updating the firmware (Atualizando o programa):
Siga os procedimentos abaixo atentamente:
1) Com o TV funcionando, conecte o pen-drive com o prgrama gravado, na porta USB;
2) Aperte a tecla MENU do controle remoto e vá até a opção CANAL com as teclas de navegação
e aperte OK;
3) Dentro do menu CANAL, desça até a página seguinte onde aparecerá "Atualizar Software" e aperte OK;
4) Aparecerá na tela a pergunta de confirmação, confirme e aperte OK;
5) Aguarde até o final da atualização, onde o equipamento desligará e religará sozinho;
6) Entre no menu de serviços e faça a reinicialização da memória com o comando INIT EEPROM
(consulte o capítulo 7 para maiores explicações).
