INSTALACIÓN

1. Abra la tapa del compartimiento de la batería ubicado en la parte de atrás
de la unidad

2. Para activar la unidad retire el economizador de plástico de la batería

3. La pantalla digital se activará

4. Cierre la tapa de la batería.

OPERACIÓN

1. Presione [START/STOP] para iniciar el conteo progresivo. Presione [START/
STOP] para interrumpir el conteo progresivo.

2. Presione y mantenga presionado [MIN], y luego presione el botón [SEC] para
reinicializar a cero.

3. Presione el botón [SEC] para configurar el número de segundos requerido
o presione y mantenga presionado [SEC] para avanzar rápidamente hacia el
número deseado de segundos.

4. Presione el botón [MIN] para configurar el número de minutos requerido
o presione y mantenga presionado [MIN] para avanzar rápidamente hacia el
número deseado de minutos.

5. Presione [START/STOP] para iniciar el conteo regresivo.

6.Cuando el temporizador llegue a cero, sonará la alarma. Presione [START/
STOP] para detener la alarma; de lo contrario la misma sonará durante 60
segundos. Cuando se detenga la alarma, la Pantalla LCD retendrá la configu­ración anterior. Cuando se presione [START/STOP] se iniciará nuevamente el
temporizador por el mismo lapso de tiempo.

INSTALAÇÃO

2. Retirar a protecção de plástico da pilha para activar a unidade

3. O visor digital liga

4. Feche a tampa do compartimento de pilhas.

FUNCIONAMENTO

1. Premir [START/STOP] para iniciar a contagem crescente. Premir [START/STOP]
para parar a contagem crescente.

2. Premir e manter [MIN] e depois premir o botão [SEC] para reiniciar a zero.

3. Premir o botão [SEC] para definir o número de segundos pretendido, ou premir e
manter [SEC] para avançar rapidamente até ao número de segundos pretendido.

4. Premir o botão [MIN] para definir o número de minutos pretendido, ou premir e
manter [MIN] para avançar rapidamente até ao número de minutos pretendido.

5. Premir [START/STOP] para iniciar a contagem decrescente.

6. Quando o temporizador chegar ao zero, o alarme toca. Premir [START/STOP]
para parar o alarme; caso contrário, o alarme toca durante 60 segundos. Quando
o alarme pára, o visor LCD retém a definição anterior. Premindo [START/STOP], o
temporizador inicia outra vez com o mesmo incremento de tempo.

INSTALLATION

1. Open the battery cover door on the back of the unit.

2. Remove the plastic battery saver to activate unit.

3. Digital display will turn on.

4. Close battery cover.

OPERATION

1. Press [START/STOP] to start counting up. Press [START/STOP] to stop count­ing up.

2. Press the [MIN] and [SEC] button at the same time to reset to zero.

3. Press [SEC] button to set the number of seconds required or press and hold
[SEC] to advance quickly to the desired number of seconds.

4. Press [MIN] button to set the number of minutes required or press and hold
[MIN] to advance quickly to the desired number of minutes.

5. Press [START/STOP] to start counting down.

6. When the timer reaches zero, the alarm will sound. Press [START/STOP] to
stop alarm; otherwise it will sound for 60 seconds. When the alarm stops, the
LCD display retains the previous setting. Pressing the [START/STOP] will start
the timer again for the same increment of time.

Empaque y manejo de baterías

•Cuando las baterías no puedan hacer funcionar el equipo, retírelas de inmedi­ato.

•Si el equipo utiliza dos o más baterías, reemplace siempre el conjunto

completo.

•No intente recargar baterías alcalinas, ya que no son recargables.

•No maneje baterías que estén calientes o tibias.

•No caliente, incinere, triture, perfore ni mutile baterías.

•Si las baterías muestran signos de fugas, bultos, hinchazón o deformidad, use

un equipo de protección personal.

Advertencia: si el electrolito de hidróxido de potasio de una batería alcalina
entra en contacto con la piel, no intente neutralizar el electrolito con vinagre ni

ninguna otra solución ácida. La neutralización puede dejar atrapado electrolito

en la piel. Lave el área afectada de la piel con cantidades abundantes de agua.

Si el electrolito de la batería penetra en sus ojos, puede causar daños severos

y/o ceguera.

Substituição/manuseamento das pilhas

•Quando as pilhas já não tiverem carga suficiente para fazer funcionar o

equipamento, retire-as imediatamente do equipamento.

•Se o equipamento utilizar mais do que uma pilha, substitua sempre as pilhas em
conjuntos completos.

•Não tente recarregar pilhas alcalinas, porque não são recarregáveis.

•Não manuseie as pilhas quando estiverem quentes.

•Não aqueça, queime, esmague, fure nem mutile as pilhas.

•Se as pilhas tiverem sinais de derrame, estiverem inchadas ou deformadas, use

equipamento de protecção pessoal.

Atenção: Se o electrólito de uma pilha alcalina (hidróxido de potássio) entrar
em contacto com a pele, não tente neutralizar o electrólito com vinagre nem com
outras soluções ácidas. A neutralização poderá levar à retenção do electrólito
na pele. Enxagúe a pele na área afectada, utilizando muita água. Se o electrólito
da pilha entrar em contacto com os olhos, isso pode causar ferimentos graves,
incluindo cegueira.

Battery Handling/Packaging

•Remove batteries from equipment immediately after they fail to operate the

equipment.

•If equipment uses two or more batteries, always replace batteries in complete

sets.

•Do not attempt to recharge alkaline batteries, they are not rechargeable.

•Do not handle hot or warm batteries.

•Do not heat, incinerate, crush, puncture or mutilate batteries.

•Wear personal protective equipment if batteries show signs of leakage, bulg-

ing, swelling or deformity.

Warning: If potassium hydroxide electrolyte from an alkaline battery comes in
contact with the skin, do not try to neutralize the electrolyte with vinegar or any
other acidic solutions. Neutralization may trap electrolyte on the skin. Flush the
affected skin area with copious amounts of water. If the battery electrolyte gets
into your eyes, it can cause severe damage and or blindness.

FUNZIONAMENTO

1. Premere [START/STOP] per avviare il conto in avanti. Premere [START/STOP]
per fermare il conto in avanti.

2. Tenere premuto il tasto [MIN] e premere [SEC] per azzerare.

3. Premere il tasto [SEC] per impostare il numero di secondi desiderato oppure
tenere premuto [SEC] per avanzare rapidamente al numero di secondi.

4. Premere il tasto [MIN] per impostare il numero di minuti desiderato oppure
tenere premuto [MIN] per avanzare rapidamente al numero di minuti.

5. Premere [START/STOP] per avviare il conto alla rovescia.

6. Quando il timer raggiunge zero, scatta l’allarme. Premere [START/STOP] per
silenziare l’allarme, che diversamente durerà 60 secondi. Quando l’allarme si
spegne, il display LCD ripristina l’impostazione precedente. Premere [START/
STOP] per avviare di nuovo il timer per lo stesso tempo.

Manutention/emballage des piles

• Enlevez immédiatement les piles de l’équipement une fois qu’elles ne

peuvent plus le faire fonctionner.

• Si l’équipement utilise deux piles ou plus, remplacez-les toujours par

ensemble complet.

• N’essayez pas de recharger des piles alcalines, elles ne sont pas

rechargeables.

• Ne manipulez pas des piles chaudes.

• Il ne faut pas chauffer, incinérer, écraser, percer ou mutiler des piles.

• Portez une tenue de protection individuelle si les piles montrent de signes de

fuite, gonflement ou boursouflure, ou déformation quelconque.

Avertissement: Si de l’électrolyte (hydroxyde de potassium) d’une pile alcaline
entre en contact avec la peau, n’essayez pas de le neutraliser avec du vinaigre
ou de quelconques solutions acides. * Une neutralisation peut emprisonner de
l’électrolyte dans l’épiderme. Rincez la zone affectée avec de grandes quantités
d’eau. Si de l’électrolyte de pile entre en contact avec les yeux, il peut causer

des sérieux dommages allant jusqu’à la cécité.

EINLEGEN DER BATTERIE

1. Das Batteriefach auf der Geräterückseite öffnen

BETRIEB

1. Auf [START/STOP] drücken, um die Aufwärtszählung zu starten. Auf [START/

2. Auf [MIN] drücken und festhalten, dann auf [SEC] drücken, um auf Null
zurückzusetzen.

3. Auf [SEC] drücken, um die gewünschte Sekundenanzahl einzustellen oder auf
[SEC] drücken und festhalten, um schnell zur gewünschten Sekundenanzahl zu
gelangen.

4. Auf [MIN] drücken, um die gewünschte Minutenanzahl einzustellen oder auf
[MIN] drücken und festhalten, um schnell zur gewünschten Minutenanzahl zu
gelangen.

5. Auf [START/STOP] drücken, um die Abwärtszählung zu starten.

6. Wenn der Timer Null erreicht, ertönt ein Alarm. Auf [START/STOP] drücken,
um den Alarm auszuschalten, andernfalls ertönt der Alarm 60 Sekunden
lang. Wenn der Alarm beendet wird, springt die LCD-Anzeige auf die vorige
Einstellung zurück. Auf [START/STOP] drücken, um den Timer für den gleichen
Zeitraum erneut zu starten.

Umgang mit der Batterie/Verpackung

•Nehmen Sie unmittelbar, nachdem die Batterie für den Gerätebetrieb zu

schwach ist, die Batterie aus dem Gerät.

•Wenn man ein Gerät verwendet zwei oder mehr Batterien verwendet, ersetzen

Sie immer den kompletten Batteriesatz.

•Versuchen Sie Alkali-Batterien nicht wieder aufzuladen, sie sind nicht

wiederaufladbar.

•Handhaben Sie keine heißen oder warmen Batterien.

•Erhitzen, verbrennen, zerquetschen, durchstechen, zerstören oder beschädigen

Sie keine Batterien anderweitig..

•Tragen Sie eine persönliche Schutzeinrichtung, wenn Batterien Anzeichen

eines Lecks, Aufbeulen oder Anschwellen zeigen oder deformiert sind.

Warnung: Wenn Kaliumhydroxidelektrolyt aus einer Alkali-Batterie in Kontakt
mit der Haut gerät, versuchen Sie nicht, das Elektrolyt mit Essig oder anderen
sauren Lösungen zu neutralisieren. Durch die Neutralisation kann sich das
Elektrolyt auf der Haut festsetzen. Spülen Sie die betroffenen Hautpartien mit
reichlich Wasser ab. Wenn das Batterie-Elektrolyt in Ihre Augen gelangt, kann
es zu schweren Schäden und/oder Blindheit führen.

INSTALLATION

[START/STOP] pour arrêter le chronométrage.

2. Appuyez sans relâche sur [MIN], puis sur [SEC] pour remettre à zéro.

3. Appuyez sur la touche [SEC] pour régler le nombre de secondes requis ou
appuyez sans relâche sur [SEC] pour faire défiler les secondes rapidement.

4. Appuyez sur la touche [MIN] pour régler le nombre de minutes requis ou
appuyez sans relâche sur [MIN] pour faire défiler les minutes rapidement.

5. Appuyez sur [START/STOP] pour démarrer le compte à rebours.

6. Lorsque la minuterie atteint zéro, l’alarme retentit. Appuyez sur [START/
STOP] pour arrêter l’alarme ;sinon, elle retentira pendant 60 secondes. Lorsque
l’alarme s’arrête, l’écran LCD revient aux réglages initiaux. Appuyez sur [START/
STOP] pour redémarrer le compte à rebours à raison de la même augmentation
de temps.

•Rimuovere le batterie dall’apparecchio immediatamente dopo il loro

malfunzionamento.

•Se l’apparecchiatura utilizza due o più batterie, sostituire sempre le batterie in

serie completa.

•Non tentare di ricaricare le batterie alcaline, non sono ricaricabili.

•Non maneggiare batterie calde o che scottano.

•Non riscaldare, bruciare, schiacciare, forare o danneggiare le batterie.

•Indossare indumenti di protezione individuale se le batterie mostrano segni di

perdite, rigonfiamento, gonfiore o deformità.

Avvertimento: Non cercare di neutralizzare l’elettrolita con aceto o altre
soluzioni acide, se l’elettrolita idrossido di potassio da una batteria alcalina
entra in contatto con la cute. La neutralizzazione può intrappolare l’elettrolita
sulla cute. Lavare l’area cutanea interessata con acqua in abbondanza. Se
l’elettrolita della batteria viene in contatto con gli occhi, provoca gravi danni e/o
cecità.
