Check for obstructions (Wire, brake lines, fuel tank, etc.) before drilling any holes!
Use hardware provided with install kit.
Note: There are two different types of trim packages for the Dodge Charger:
1. Police package w/ rubber floor mat and full size spare tire.
2. Police package w/ carpeted fiberglass trim and donut size spare tire.
This will affect the modification of the trim in the trunk.
It is also recommended to remove the back seat for ease of installation. In most cases
this must be done anyway to route wiring.

At this time you will have the all mounting brackets loosely installed. If installing into police
package vehicle containing carpeted fiberglass trim and donut spare tire you will need the
following modifications.

Mark section of trim to cut
Cut carpeted fiberglass trim
using jigsaw.
Replace carpeted trim.
At this time, attach the bracket stiffener (Item 2) across the front support mounting brackets. (Items 4, 5)
This is necessary to square the front end of the assembly.
