This product must be installed and used in accordance with FMVSS, vehicle manufacturer, and all applicable laws, codes, and specifications. These instructions are provided as a guideline for proper installation, and do not purport to cover every possible installation scenario or configuration. If questions arise, consult the factory.
INSTALLATION:
There are four standard installation types, as listed below. Please follow the instructions applicable to your specific installation:
C-CUP2-I Internal mount for enclosed consoles:
1. The internal-mount cupholder requires 4” of mounting space.
2. First, select the optimum location for installing the cupholder. Carefully remove any equipment/panels already installed in that location.
3. Using the hardware supplied, secure the cupholder bracket only to the console (without the plastic cupholder insert being installed.)
C-CUP2-E-AS or C-CUP2-E-C External mount to rear end-of-console extrusion:
1. Most end-of-console mounted cupholders should be installed using this method.
2. First, remove any existing cupholders or other accessories that will interfere with the installation of the new cupholder.
3. Remove the two screws holding the endcap onto the extrusion. Remove the plastic endcap (note that it may be held with adhesive.)
Phillips screwdriver
4. Install the plastic cupholder insert by pressing it firmly into the bracket. Install the two rubber cupholder pads by pressing them firmly into each cup location, if they are not already installed.
5. Replace any necessary equipment/panels to complete installation, ensuring that they are installed correctly.
4. Using the hardware supplied, install the cupholder bracket only (without the plastic cupholder insert being installed.)
5. Install the plastic cupholder insert by pressing it firmly into the bracket. Install the two rubber cupholder pads by pressing them firmly into each cup location, if they are not already installed.

C-CUP2-E-AS or C-CUP2-E-C External mount to rear end-of-console panel:
1. This method should only be used when the external mount to end-of-console extrusion method is not possible.
2. First, remove any existing cupholders or other accessories that will interfere with the installation of the new cupholder. Be sure to remove the plastic endcap as well, if it is present and will interfere.
3. The console will need to be opened in order to install the cupholder. Remove enough equipment/panels to gain sufficient access to install the new cupholder, taking care not to damage the accessories.
4. Drill any mounting holes necessary in the console and/or cupholder mounting bracket, ensuring proper alignment
between the bracket and the console end panel. Most Havis-Shields consoles will include suitable mounting slots, so this step should not be necessary for most installations.
5. Attach the cupholder bracket only (without the plastic cupholder insert installed) using the supplied hardware.
6. Install the plastic cupholder insert by pressing it firmly into the bracket. Install the two rubber cupholder pads by pressing them firmly into each cup location, if they are not already installed.
7. Replace any panels or accessories removed, ensuring that they are installed correctly.
C-CUP2-E-TM External Trak-Mount:
1. This method should be used to attach a cupholder to Havis-Shields standard Trak-Mount console track.
2. First, remove any equipment from the track that will interfere with the installation of the new cupholder. Note that at least one end of the track must be fully accessible in order to complete installation.
3. Set the cupholder onto the track, and align the mounting holes in the bottom with suitable mounting slots. Select the correct hardware size and slots so that the cupholder will be secured in at least two places. Please note that the innermost holes on the cupholder will accept only #10 hardware, while the outermost holes will accept either #10 or 1/4" hardware.
4. Install supplied nuts into the track, sliding them in from the end. There are different slots in the track for #10 hardware and 1/4" hardware, so the installer must place the correct hardware into the correct slot(s). Slide the nuts to the approximate location where they will align with the holes in the cupholder.
5. Set the cupholder in place on the track, align the holes correctly with the nuts, and secure it with the supplied screws.
6. Install the two rubber cupholder pads by pressing them firmly into each cup location. Please note that the cupholder pads will fully hid the screws when they are installed correctly.
7. Replace any equipment removed, ensuring it is installed correctly.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE:
Plastic cupholders that are not Trak-Mount can be easily removed for cleaning. Simply grip the cupholder firmly, and pull it straight out. The rubber pads can also be removed for cleaning. Use only mild soap in cleaning; never use harsh chemicals. Once dry, the pads and cupholders can be reinstalled by simply pressing them back in place.
