Contents:
170 cards (34 in each colored set) and 5 reminder cards.
Cards are numbered 1-5, in all sorts of different styles. There
are also 2 RATUKI cards in each deck, which you can use as
any number you like.
Stack Facts
• You can only start a stack with a
1 (of any design) or a RATUKI card.
• To add to a stack, you must have a card that’s
one number higher or lower than the top card.
Any design will do, but you can’t put the same
number on top. RATUKI cards count as any
number you like.
Remember, your aim is to be the player that plays a 5 card
(or a RATUKI card), on the top, so you can win the stack.

Setup
1. Find a pen and paper (not supplied) to keep score with.
2. Separate the cards into single-color decks and choose
one color each.
3. Shuffle your deck and put it down in front of you, face down. This is your draw deck.
4. Take 3 cards from your draw deck and hold them in
your hand.
5. There are no turns in this game, so keep an eye on the
other players – ready, set… RATUKI!
How to Play!
1. Someone shouts “RATUKI!” Let the chaos begin!
2. If you have a 1 or a RATUKI card in your hand, you can start
a stack by laying it on the table. Take another card from
your draw deck so you always have 3 cards in your hand.
IMPORTANT: You can use
only ONE HAND to lay cards.
It doesn’t matter which, but
once you’ve picked, stick to it!
3. You can add cards from
your hand to any pile if
you have a card that’s one
number higher or lower
than the top card of that pile.
4. You can go up (to get to 5 and snatch the stack) or down
(to make a fatter pile to snatch).
5. Shout “RATUKI!” each time you grab a stack and put
those cards faceup on your score pile.
6. If you have trouble getting rid of a card from your hand,
you can place it facedown on your junk pile and replace
it with another from your draw pile.
7 . Keep playing cards, adding to your hand and winning
stacks. If someone runs out of cards, they shout “OUT!”
Everyone stops playing immediately.
Scoring and Winning
1. Count the cards in your score pile. Each card is worth
one point.
2. Count the cards on your draw and junk piles, then
subtract that total from the score pile. This is your
score for this round.
3. Now separate your cards into well-shuffled, single-color
piles and play again. The first player to score 100 points
or more wins.
• If more than one player goes over 100 on the same
turn, the player with the highest score wins.
• If two players reach exactly the same score on the
same round, it’s a draw!
Speedy Game
Play a single round. The player with the most points at the end of that
round is the winner!
Storage
To stop your cards from sliding in the box: push up the tabs in the
cardboard tray, store your cards in 3 piles, then fold over the tab tops.
