Getting to Know Your Pet
Back sensor
When you pet your toy puppy on his back, he really responds to your touch!
The switch is currently in TRY ME position. Please slide to ON position to activate your toy’s
play features.

How to Play
To activate your toy puppy,
slide the TRY ME/OFF/ON

Walking Mode
For walking action, position your puppy’s front legs downward as shown.
When you pet his back, your toy puppy responds to your touch by walking around in circles. After a few seconds, he’ll stop for more petting and encouragement, then he’ll start walking again.

Calm Mode
If you press and hold down your toy puppy’s back for about a second, he’ll make calm sounds and stop walking. When you pet him, he’ll respond with more calm puppy sounds.
If you stop petting your puppy for about a minute, he’ll go into Sleep Mode.
Sleep Mode
If you stop petting your toy puppy for about a minute, he’ll go to “sleep” and won’t move or make any sounds. You can “wake” him up again and return to Walking Mode by petting his back!
NOTE: This toy uses battery power whenever
its switch is in the ON position. When you’re not playing with the toy, move its switch to the OFF position to help conserve battery life.
Grooming Your Pet
Just like a real puppy, your toy puppy likes to stay clean. But make sure he doesn’t get wet! Gently brush his fur with a cloth or soft brush to loosen any dirt. You can use a slightly damp cloth to remove stains, but don’t use any cleaners on your toy puppy.

Troubleshooting
If your pet doesn’t seem to respond properly,
rst try sliding the TRY ME/OFF/ON switch to
OFF, then back to ON. If that doesn’t work, you may need to replace the batteries.
To Replace Batteries
1. Locate battery compartment on puppy’s tummy.
2. Loosen screw on battery door.
3. Remove and discard old batteries.
4. Replace with fresh
3 x 1.5V “AA” or
LR6 size alkaline batteries.
5. Replace door and tighten screw.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION CAUTION:
1. Always follow the instructions carefully. Use only batteries specified and be sure to insert them correctly by matching the + and – polarity markings.
2. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries or standard (carbon-zinc) with alkaline batteries.
3. Remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
4. Remove batteries if product is not to be played with for a long time.
5. Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
6. Should this product cause, or be affected by, local electrical interference, move it away from other electrical equipment. Reset (switching off and back on again or removing and re-inserting batteries) if necessary.
7. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES: Do not mix these with any other types of batteries. Always remove from the product before recharging. Recharge batteries under adult supervision. DO NOT RECHARGE OTHER TYPES OF BATTERIES.
NOTE TO UK CONSUMERS: This product and its batteries must be disposed of separately at your local waste recycling centre. Do not dispose of in your household waste bin.
