Introduction
Congratulations on purchasing one of the most useful tools a bass player can own, the Hartke Bass Attack 2! The Bass Attack 2 is a
serious preamp and direct box that provides dual functionality by incorporating great front-end tone shaping, along with a super-clean
balanced output to send to your recorder or Front-Of-House mixer.
The Bass Attack 2 has three stages to shape your sound, including an EQ section, Hartke’s famous Shape Circuit, and an overdrive
that can go from a little bit of warmth to monstrous distortion. The Bass Attack 2 has extensive input and output connectors including
1/4” inputs, balanced XLR Direct Output and 1/4” Parallel Output, providing maximum flexibility for connecting to an amplifier, mixer
and recorder. The Bass Attack 2 is perfectly at home in the studio or on the road. In fact, the zinc die cast enclosure ensures solid
performance from night-to-night and venue-to-venue. Whether you are recording or playing live, the Bass Attack 2 will give you the sound
you’ve been looking for.

With proper care and maintenance, your Bass Attack 2 will operate trouble-free for many years. Should your Bass Attack 2 ever require
servicing, a Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained before shipping your unit to Hartke. Without this number, the unit
will not be accepted. Please call Samson at 1-800-372-6766 for an RA number prior to shipping your unit. Please retain the original
packing materials and, if possible, return the unit in its original carton. If your Bass Attack 2 was purchased outside of the United
States, contact your local distributor for warranty details and service information.
