Bestimmungsgemäß
verwenden
Die digitale Babywaage - im Folgenden
Waage - dient zur Bestimmung von Gewich
ten bis max. 20 kg. Jede andere Verwendung
gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Eigen

Batterien einlegen
Die Waage wird mit zwei Batterien des Typs
AAA betrieben.
Æ Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung auf
der Unterseite der Waage.
Æ Legen Sie die Batterien (im Lieferumfang ent
halten) polrichtig in das Batteriefach [5] ein.
Æ Schließen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung
auf der Unterseite der Waage.
Wenn die Batterien fast leer sind, er
scheint im Display die Meldung Lo.
Tauschen Sie die Batterien zeitnah aus.
Bedienen
Einschalten
Æ Stellen Sie die Waage auf eine waagerechte,
stabile Oberfläche.
Æ Drücken Sie die Taste [4] für 2 Sekunden.
Ê Die Waage ist eingeschaltet.

Gewichtseinheit einstellen
Die Waage kann das Gewicht in kg (Kilo
gramm), lb (pound) oder st (stone) anzeigen.
Æ Drücken Sie die Taste [2]. Ê Das Display [3]
wechselt zwischen den Gewichtseinheiten.
Waage tarieren
Wenn Sie Ihr Kleinkind bzw. Baby (oder ein
anderes Objekt) mit einem Hilfsmittel (wie et
wa einem Handtuch) wiegen, muss die
Waage tariert werden.
Tarieren bedeutet, die Waage mit dem
darauf liegenden Hilfsmittel auf null zu
stellen, um das Nettogewicht Ihres Babys
oder Kleinkindes zu bestimmen.
Æ Stellen bzw. legen Sie das Hilfsmittel mittig
auf die Auflagefläche [1]. Ê Das Display [3]
zeigt das Gewicht des zu tarierenden Hilfs
mittels.
Æ Drücken Sie die Taste [4]. Ê Das Display [3]
zeigt den Wert 0,00.
Wiegen
Æ Stellen Sie das zu wiegende Objekt (ggf. mit
dem zuvor tarierten Hilfsmittel) mittig auf die
Auflagefläche [1]. Ê Das Display [3] zeigt das
gemessene Gewicht.
Nach kurzer Zeit ohne Gewichtsver
änderung schaltet sich die Waage
automatisch aus, um die Batterien zu
schonen.
Ist das gewogene Objekt schwerer als
20 kg, erscheint im Display [3] die Mel
dung O-Ld. Diese Anzeige bedeutet, dass die
Waage überlastet ist.

Do not swallow batteries. If a round cell
or battery is swallowed, contact medical
assistance immediately.
• Property damage through overloading!
Do not weigh any objects which are
heavier than the maximum load stipulat
ed in the technical data. Doing so could
damage the scales permanently.
Intended Use
The digital baby scales, subsequently referred
to as scales, serve to determine weights up to
max. 20 kg. Any other use is considered unin
tended use. Unauthorised modification or re
construction is not permitted. Under no cir
cumstances open the scales or complete any
repair work yourself.

Inserting the Batteries
The scales are operated by means of two
AAA batteries.
Open the battery compartment cover on
the underside of the scales.
Insert the batteries (supplied with the de
vice) in the battery compartment [5], ensur
ing correct polarity.
Close the battery compartment cover on
the underside of the scales.
When the batteries are almost empty, the
message Lo appears in the display.
Change the batteries shortly after.
Operation
Switching on
Set the scales down on a horizontal, stable
base.
Press the button [4] for 2 seconds. The
scales are switched on.
Setting the unit of weight
The scales can display the weight in kg (kilo
gramme), lb (pound) or st (stone).
Press the button [2]. The display [3]
switches between the units of weight.
Taring the scales
If you weigh a baby or infant (or another ob
ject) using an aid (such as a towel), the scales
must be tared.
Taring means that the weight of the aid is
taken into account for the weighing

process and the scales with the aid on it
are set to zero, which ensures only the
net weight of the baby or infant is deter
mined.
Place or lay the aid centred on the contact
surface [1].
The display [3] indicates the weight of
the aid.
Press the button [4]. The display [3] then
reads the value 0.00.
Weighing
Place the object to be weighed (with the
aid previously tared, if necessary) centred
on the contact surface [1]. The display [3]
reads the weight measured.
After a short time during which the weight
does not change, the scales switch off
automatically to save the batteries.
If the object weighed is heavier than
20 kg, the message O-Ld appears in the
display [3]. The display indicates the
scales are overloaded.

Do not use and solvents or cleaning
agents.
Disposal
In order to dispose of your device, take
it to a collection point provided by your
local public waste authorities (e.g. recy
cling centre). According to laws on the dispos
al of electronic and electrical devices, owners
are obliged to dispose of old electronic and
electrical devices in a separate waste con
tainer. The symbol indicates that the device
must not be disposed of in normal domestic
waste!

Utiliser le pèse-bébé conformément à
son usage
Le pèse-bébé numérique - appelé par la suite
balance - sert à déterminer le poids
jusqu'à 20 kg max. Toute autre forme d'utili
sation n'est pas conforme à son usage. Des
modifications ou changements effectués d'un
propre gré sont interdits. N'ouvrez jamais la
balance ni ne la réparez vous-même.

La balance fonctionne sur piles de type AAA
Ouvrez le cache-piles situé sous la
balance.
Insérez les piles (fournies avec) en respec
tant la polarité [5].
Fermez le cache-piles.
Lorsque les piles sont presque vides, le
message Lo s'affiche sur la balance.
Remplacez-les dès que possible.
Manipulation
Branchement
Posez la balance sur une surface horizon
tale stable.
Appuyez 2 secondes sur la touche [4]
La balance est allumée.
Réglage de l'unité de poids
La balance peut afficher le poids en kg (kilog
ramme), lb (pound) ou st (once).
Appuyez sur la touche [2]. L'afficheur [3]
bascule entre les deux unités de poids.
Tarage
Si vous pesez votre enfant ou votre bébé (ou
un autre objet) avec une serviette par

exemple, il faut effectuer le tarage de votre
balance.
Pour cela, mettre l'affichage sur zéro
avec la surviette ou autre chose de ce
genre sur la balance pour pouvoir dé
terminer le poids net de votre enfant.
Posez debout ou à plat la serviette ou un
autre objet au milieu de la surface de pe
sée [1]. L'afficheur [3] indique le poids
de celui (celle)-ci.
Appuyez sur la touche [4]. L'afficheur [3]
indique la valeur 0,00.
Pesage
Posez l'enfant (l'objet) à peser (le cas
échéant avec la serviette qui aura servi au
tarage) au centre de la surface de pe
sée [1]. L'afficheur [3] indique le poids
mesuré.
Si le poids ne change pas, la balance
s'éteint automatiquement peu de temps
après pour économiser les piles.
Si l'enfant, l'objet pèse plus de 20 kg, le
message O-Ld apparaît sur l'afficheur [3]
Cette affichage signifie que la balance
est surchargée.

modifiche o trasformazioni non autorizzate.
Non aprire per nessuna ragione la bilancia
autonomamente e non svolgere riparazioni di
propria iniziativa.

Inserire le batterie
La bilancia funziona con due batterie di tipo
AAA.
Aprire il coperchio del vano batterie sul lato
inferiore della bilancia.
Inserire le batterie (fornite all’interno della
confezione) nel vano batterie [5] facendo
attenzione alla corretta polarità.
Chiudere il coperchio del vano batterie sul
lato inferiore della bilancia.
Quando le batterie sono quasi scariche,
sul display appare il messaggio Lo. Prov
vedere quindi a breve alla sostituzione
delle batterie.
Esercizio
Accensione
Poggiare la bilancia su una superficie
piana e stabile.
Premere il tasto [4] per 2 secondi. La
bilancia è inserita.
Impostare l’unità di misura del peso
La bilancia è in grado di indicare il peso in kg
(chilogrammo), lb (libbra) o st (stone).
Premere il tasto [2]. Il display [3] passa
da un’unità di misura del peso all’altra.

Taratura della bilancia
Volendo pesare il vostro bimbo o neonato (o
altro oggetto) utilizzando uno strumento
d’ausilio (come ad es. un asciugamano), è
necessario eseguire la taratura della bilancia.
Tarare significa che la bilancia viene az
zerata con lo strumento d’ausilio poggiato
sopra di essa in modo da poter stabilire il
peso netto del vostro bimbo o neonato.
Poggiare o deporre lo strumento d’ausilio
al centro della superficie di appoggio [1].
Il display [3] visualizza il peso dello stru
mento d’ausilio da tarare.
Premere il tasto [4]. Il display [3] visualiz
za il valore 0,00.
Pesare
Poggiare l’oggetto da pesare (eventual
mente insieme allo strumento d’ausilio pre
cedentemente tarato) al centro della super
ficie di appoggio [1]. Il display [3]
visualizza il peso misurato.
Trascorso un breve intervallo di tempo e
dopo che la bilancia non rileva alterazioni
di peso, questa si spegne automatica
mente per risparmiare le batterie.
Se l’oggetto pesato pesa più di 20 kg, sul
display [3] appare il messaggio O-Ld. Ciò
significa che la bilancia è sovraccarica.

Smaltimento
Procedere allo smaltimento dell'appa

base a quanto indicato dalle norme in
vigore a livello locale.

Uso previsto
La balanza digital para bebés (en lo sucesivo
"balanza") sirve para determinar pesos con un
máximo de hasta 20 kg. Cualquier otro uso
será considerado no previsto. Se prohíbe
expresamente cualquier modificación o trans
formación. En ningún caso abra la balanza ni
intente repararla por su cuenta.

Introducir las pilas
La balanza funciona con dos pilas de tipo
AAA.
Abra la tapa del compartimento de pilas en
la parte inferior de la balanza.
Introduzca las pilas (incluidas en el volu
men de suministro) con la polaridad cor
recta en el compartimento de pilas [5].
Cierre la tapa del compartimento de pilas
en la parte inferior de la balanza.
Cuando las pilas están casi agotadas,
aparece el mensaje Lo en la pantalla.
Cambie las pilas lo antes posible.
Manejar
Encender
Coloque la balanza sobre una superficie
horizontal estable.
Pulse la tecla [4] durante 2 segundos.
La balanza está encendida.

Ajustar la unidad de peso
La balanza puede indicar el peso en kg (kilo
gramos), lb (pound) o st (stone).
Pulse la tecla [2]. La pantalla [3] cambia
entre las unidades de peso.
Calibrar la balanza
Si va a pesar a su niño pequeño o a su bebé
(o algún objeto) junto a un medio auxiliar (co
mo, por ejemplo, una toalla), es necesario ca
librar la balanza.
Calibrar significa poner a cero la balanza
con el medio auxiliar depositado sobre
ella para poder así determinar el peso
neto de su bebé o niño pequeño.
Coloque o deposite el medio auxiliar de
forma centrada sobre la superficie de apo
yo [1]. La pantalla [3] muestra el peso
del medio auxiliar a calibrar.
Pulse la tecla [4]. La pantalla [3] muestra
el valor 0,00.
Pesar
Posicione el objeto a pesar (si fuera nece
sario, con el medio auxiliar previamente
calibrado) de forma centrada sobre la
superficie de apoyo [1]. La pantalla [3]
muestra el peso medido.
Al cabo de un tiempo determinado, sin
que se produzca ningún cambio de peso,
la balanza se apaga automáticamente
para conservar las pilas.
Si el objeto pesado pesa más de 20 kg,
aparece el mensaje O-Ld en la panta
lla [3]. Esta indicación significa que se ha
sobrecargado la balanza.

Beoogd gebruik
De digitale babyweegschaal - hierna weger
genoemd - dient voor de bepaling van gewich
ten tot max. 20 kg. Elk ander gebruik is niet
toegestaan. Eigenmachtige wijzigingen of om
bouw zijn niet toegestaan. Open de weeg
schaal in geen geval zelf en probeer hem niet
zelf te repareren.

Batterijen plaatsen
De weegschaal wordt met twee batterijen van
het type AAA gebruikt.
Open de afdekking van het batterijvak aan
de onderkant van de weegschaal.
Plaats de batterijen (bijgeleverd) met de
polen in de juiste richting in het batter
ijvak [5].
Sluit de afdekking van het batterijvak aan
de onderkant van de weegschaal.
Als de batterijen bijna leeg zijn, verschijnt
op het display de melding Lo. Vervang
de batterijen zo spoedig mogelijk.
Bedienen
Inschakelen
Plaats de weegschaal op een horizontaal,
stabiel oppervlak.
Druk toets [4] in en houd hem 2 seconden
ingedrukt. De weegschaal is inge
schakeld.
Gewichtseenheid instellen
De weegschaal kan het gewicht in kg (kilo
gram), lb (pound) of st (stone) weergeven.
Druk toets [2] in. Het display [3] wisselt
tussen de gewichtseenheden.

Weegapparaat tarreren
Als u uw kleuter of baby (of een voorwerp)
met een hulpmiddel (zoals een handdoek)
weegt, moet de weegschaal worden getar
reerd.
Tarreren betekent, de weegschaal met
het daarop liggende hulpmiddel op nul
stellen, om het nettogewicht van uw baby
of kleuter te bepalen.
Plaats c.q. leg het hulpmiddel in het
midden van het oplegvlak [1]. Het dis
play [3] toont het gewicht van het te tarre
ren hulpmiddel.
Druk toets [4] in. Het display [3] toont de
waarde 0,00.
Wegen
Plaats het te wegen voorwerp (evt. met het
van tevoren getarreerde hulpmiddel) in het
midden van het oplegvlak [1]. Het dis
play [3] toont het gemeten gewicht.
Na korte tijd zonder gewichtsverandering
schakelt de weegschaal automatisch uit,
om de batterijen te sparen.
Als het gewogen voorwerp zwaarder dan
20 kg is, verschijnt op het display [3] de
melding O-Ld. Deze melding betekent
dat de weegschaal overbelast is.

Gescheiden inzameling
Als u het toestel wilt afvoeren, brengt u
het naar het inzamelingspunt in uw
gemeente (bijv. KCA-depot). Volgens
de wet op elektrische en elektronische appa
raten zijn eigenaars van oude apparaten ver
plicht om oude elektrische en elektronische
apparaten naar een gescheiden afvalinzame
ling te brengen. Het nevenstaande symbool
betekent dat u het apparaat in geen geval bij
het huisvuil mag gooien!
