You Must Purchase: Five (5) #10 or 5 mm stainless steel sheet metal, machine, or wood flathead

Only drill spigots you wish to drain. Use 1/8" or 3 mm drill to ream out drain spigots. Attach
purchased plastic tubing so handhold drains to bilge. If you use multiple handholds, connect
spigots in a series so that only one long tube is needed to drain to bilge.

Install Handhold
1. Cut out template and use to draw a pattern for cutting opening.
2. Use handhold to mark hole position.
3. For self-tapping sheet metal or wood screws, drill 5 holes using 1/8", 9/63" or 3.5mm drill.
For machine screws, drill 5 holes using 3/16" or 5 mm holes.
4. Apply high quality marine sealant around outer rim of handhold and inside screw holes.
5. Secure handhold by tightening screws or nuts.
Maintenance
Harken equipment requires minimal maintenance, but some is required to give the best service and to comply with
Harken's limited warranty. It is important to keep equipment clean by frequent flushing with fresh water.
