Moisture-sensitive Product!
To achieve optimum results, our special ink jet films should be stored and used at 15°C – 20°C in a humidity protected ambiance.
Application Instructions:
Paper Feeding
Our films have only one slightly adhesive side to be printed on. Please pay attention to only print this side.
HINT: To find out which side of the film can be printed, lightly wet your finger and touch the film on both sides at the edge. The side that sticks is the one to be printed on.
ATTENTION: Our ink jet film sheets slightly stick together; thus they should only be fed as single sheet into the feeder of the printer.
Printer Adjustment
Please consider that the printer adjustment for printing our films has to be adapted accordingly. Because of the multitude of different printers and print options we can only make some general information here:
Using standard print options (without using RIP software):
1: EPSON printers in principle need a change in the adjustment to „photo paper“. The print quality should – depending on the availability – be adjusted to “high” respectively “photo”. The speed should be adjusted to „low“.
2: CANON printers in principle need a change in adjusting the paper quality to „other photo paper“. The print quality should – depending on the availability – be adjusted to “high” respectively “photo”. The speed should be adjusted to „low“.
HINT: In case you do not use an EPSON or CANON printer, please contact our technical service under imaging@harke.com or by phone +49 (0)208 3069 - 2530.
When using RIP-Software:
You will receive extensive advice from our technical service under imaging@harke.com, or by phone +49 (0) 208 3069 - 2530.
IMPORTANT SECURITY ADVISE!
Never use our films with a laser printer because this might strongly damage it.
