UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure
that the item is intact and undamaged. If
any parts are missing or broken, please
call Harbor Freight Tools at the number
shown on the cover of this manual as soon
as possible.

the truck bed. Make sure it is centered in the bed, midway between the
wheel wells.

Long Bed:• Position the rear end
of the Large Slide Base (21) inside
the bed and just touching the closed
tailgate. For very high trucks, it
may be necessary to leave the tailgate off.
Short Bed (tailgate left on):• Posi-
tion the rear end of the Large Slide
Base (21) inside the tailgate, 1/2” to
1-1/2” from the end of the tailgate.
Short Bed (tailgate off): • Posi-
tion the front end of the Large Slide
Base (21) immediately next to (within 1/2”) the front of the truck bed.
Extreme Short Bed (tailgate on or •
off): Position the front end of the
Large Slide Base (21) immediately
next to (within 1/2”) the front of the
truck bed.
