Carbon Alloy Steel Blade, High Impact Plastic Handle. Requires (2) AA batteries (not included). Weight 0.30 Oz.
Safety Warnings:
Do not allow children to handle or play with this tool. Wear knife resistant gloves to protect hands when using this tool.
When not in use, store this tool safely, out of reach of children.
Assembly and Operation
CAUTION: Thoroughly wash the Blade (B) of the Fruit Peeler
using warm soapy water before use, and dry thoroughly. This is to remove any oil or contaminants that may remain from the manufacturing process. Do not immerse the handle portion of the Fruit Peeler, as this will damage the electronic parts. Wash fruits and vegetables before preparing them.
1. Open the Battery Case lid by sliding it and lifting up.
2. Install two “AA” batteries (not included). Be sure the Positive and Negative poles of the batteries are properly aligned with the “+” and “-” marks in the battery case. Close the Battery Case.
3. To use the Fruit Peeler, carefully rotate the blade into the open position. Be sure that the Blade Lock Detent (C) aligns with the silver button. Press Blade Lock (A) to lock the blade into place. Do not handle the Blade (B) as you may cut yourself.
4. Place the Blade (B) on the fruit. Press the Control Button (D) to operate the peeler. Move the fruit against the Blade to peel the fruit. Release the Control Button (D) to stop the peeler. WARNING: Wear knife resistant gloves when using this tool. Do not touch or handle the Blade (B) during operation. You will injure yourself.
5. The tip of the Blade (B) is designed for removing imperfections, pits, potato eyes, etc. Do not press Control Button (D) when using this feature.
6. When you are done using the tool, wash off the Knife portion using warm soapy water, and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the Handle portion of the tool. Be careful of the Blade (B), take care not to cut yourself while washing it.
7. Release the lock and fold the tool. Store the tool in a secure area out of reach of children or other unauthorized persons. Protect the tool from moisture or incidental damage that may be caused by banging around loose in a drawer.
Troubleshooting
Tool doesn’t operate or operates slowly: Replace the batteries. Be sure the battery compartment or motor is not wet or has not been immersed. For long term storage, remove the batteries.
