You will need the manual for the safety warnings and precautions, assembly instructions, operating and maintenance procedures, parts list and diagram. Keep your invoice with this manual. Write the invoice number on the inside of the front cover. Keep the manual and invoice in a safe and dry place for future reference.
Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING: When using this product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this product!
1. Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.
2. Use eye and ear protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles when assembling this product. Goggles are available from Harbor Freight Tools.
3. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not assemble this product when you are tired.
4. Do not let children play around this product. Do not let children climb on this product. This is a product for storage, not for climbing.
4. Check for damaged parts. Before using this product, any part that appears damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for loose parts and any other condition that may affect the operation of this product. Replace loose or worn parts immediately. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced.
5. Replacement parts. When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty.
6. Mount Wood Rack in solid studs on the wall. The weight capacity of this product is largely dependent on the method of installation and hardware used. (Hardware is not provided). If in doubt of it’s stability, have a professional carpenter install this product. Harbor Freight Tools is not responsible for accidents due to poor installation. The weight capacity suggested per shelf is 100 lbs. when two Metal Wood Racks are mounted side by side. Do not exceed.

Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the following parts are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number on the cover of this manual.
Assembly Instructions
1. Position Upright Brackets (1) six feet apart. Be sure to select the correct hardware for mounting the Upright Brackets into solid studs in the wall. Use the white plastic Spacer (5) when mounting.
See Figures 1 & 2.
2. Attach the Endcaps (3) to the ends of the Racks (2). (Not shown).
3. If boards longer than 8’ are used, it is suggested you purchase a second set of wall mounted Wood Racks to accommodate that length. Do not exceed the 100 lbs. per shelf limit when Metal Wood Racks are mounted side by side.
A multipurpose storage rack used to hold timber, pipe, or other building materials*. Can be used in workshops, garages, sheds or etc. Six levels, each level holding no more than 100 lbs. Each Metal Wood Rack must be secured to a solid wood stud using 3 screws per Upright Bracket (1). Recommended hardware is 3” Wood Screws x 1/4” diameter-Grade 5. (Hardware not included).
*If round materials are stored on the rack they must be tied securely to the rack.
