IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce
the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Never use with an extension cord unless plug
can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire - use 100 watt
or smaller, 120 Volt, Type A lamp. (See Figure A.)
Set-Up Precautions
1. Set-up only according to these instructions.
Improper set-up can create hazards.
2. Wear ANSI-approved safety
goggles during set-up.
Use Precautions
1. This product is not a toy. Do not allow
children to play with or near this item.
2. Use for intended purpose(s) only.
3. Inspect before use; do not use if
parts are loose or damaged.
4. Maintain product labels and nameplates.
These carry important safety information.
If unreadable or missing, contact
Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.
5. Make sure to turn off the Clamp
Light and unplug the unit from its
electrical outlet when unattended.
6. Avoid accidental burns. Do not touch the
bulb (not included) or the Reflector while the
Clamp Light is turned on. Turn off the Clamp
Light and wait until the bulb and Housing
are completely cool before touching.
Note: Dry location use only.
3. Do not set-up this product when
tired or when under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication.
7. Avoid eye injury. Do not look directly into
the bulb when operating this product.
8. Do not operate the Clamp Light with
a damaged or missing Reflector.
9. WARNING: The cord of this product
contains lead, a chemical known to the
State of California to cause cancer, and birth
defects or other reproductive harm. Wash
hands after handling. (California Health
& Safety Code § 25249.5, et seq.)
10. Turn off the Clamp Light, unplug its
Power Cord from its electrical outlet,
and allow it to completely cool down
prior to storing or performing any
inspection, maintenance, or cleaning.
1. Screw the Reflector onto the
Light Bulb Socket.
2. Firmly screw in a 100 Watt, 120 Volt, Type A
bulb (not included). (See Figure B)
3. Use the Spring Clamp to clamp the Light firmly
onto the desired object, making sure the object
being clamped onto is capable of supporting
the weight of the Clamp Light. (See Figure B)
4. Adjust the Clamp Light so that its beam will
center on the object intended to be illuminated.
5. Plug the Power Cord into the nearest 120 volt,
grounded, electrical outlet. (See Figure B)

6. Turn the Clamp Light on by pressing
its Power Switch. (See Figure B)
7. When finished using the Clamp Light,
press the Power Switch to turn off the
Light, unplug its Power Cord from its
electrical outlet, and allow it to completely
cool down prior to removal/storage.
8. When storing, make sure to keep the Clamp
Light in a clean, dry, safe location out of reach
of children and other unauthorized persons.

This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence

normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in no event be liable for death,
injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages
arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation
charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany
the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either repair or replace
the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily
and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense,
but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within
the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also
have other rights which vary from state to state.
