Dress properly. Do not wear c. loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose
clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
Only use safety equipment that d. has been approved by an appro­priate standards agency. Unap-
proved safety equipment may not provide adequate protection. Eye protection must be ANSI-approved and breathing protection must be

hazards in the work area.
Tool use and care3.
Do not force the tool. Use the a. correct tool for your application.
The correct tool will do the job bet­ter and safer at the rating for which it was designed.
Store idle tools out of the reach b. of children and do not allow per­sons unfamiliar with it or these instructions to operate the tool.
Tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Maintain your tools. Check for c. misalignment or binding of mov­ing parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the tool’s operation. If damaged, have the tool repaired before use. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained tools.
Use the tool in accordance with d. these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed.
