Important Safety Information
1. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
2. When using, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and/or damage to the product.
3. Do not allow children younger than age 9 to use this Stunt Car.
Children should not operate without adult supervision.
4. Sharp antenna on Remote
can cause injury.
5. Keep spectators and pets away. Spectators should only watch from a safe distance.
6. Position batteries in proper polarity
and do not install batteries of different types, charge levels, or capacities together.
7. Do not open the Stunt Car’s housing or to modify its design.
Doing so may cause damage and/or make it dangerous.
8. Do not use if parts are loose or damaged. If the toy has been damaged, immediately stop use.
9. Only use outside or in large, enclosed area. Do not drive near open flames, pets or delicate furniture.
10. If you start losing control, gently
reduce speed and stop the Stunt Car.
11. The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors that cannot be built into this product but must be supplied by the operator.
12. Maintain product labels and nameplates. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement.
Assembly
1. Carefully slide the foam box containing the Stunt Car from the cardboard box.
2. Remove the Remote and the antenna.
3. Thread the Antenna into the top of the Remote.

4. Remove the Stunt Car from the foam package. If any part seems to not come out easily, stop and remedy the obstruction before proceeding.

Installing Batteries
1. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Remote.
2. Insert one 9-Volt battery (not included) into battery compartment, following indicated polarity.
3. Replace the Remote battery cover.
4. Turn the tabs out and remove the battery compartment from the bottom of the Stunt Car. See Figure A.
5. Insert four “AA” batteries (not included) into the battery compartment, following the indicated polarity.
CAUTION! Replace all batteries at one time. Also, all batteries must be of the same type and charge level.

6. Slide the battery compartment back into the Stunt Car.
7. Turn the tabs inward to lock the battery compartment into place.

CAUTION! Keep all spectators a safe distance away while during use.
Note: Take time to get familiar with the controls of the Stunt Car in a location that will be relatively safe for use.
Note: Read through this section completely and get familiar with the controls BEFORE using Stunt Car.

2. Turn Remote Switch on. The LED on Remote will light. See Figure B, above.
3. Turn Car Switch on. See Figure A, previous page. The LED lights in the wheels will activate.
4. Place Stunt Car on floor with wheels down.
5. To move Stunt Car forward, push Throttle up. To move Stunt Car backward, push Throttle down. To increase speed, push Throttle farther.
8. Use the Steering control to steer the Stunt Car.
9. To stop the Stunt Car, release the Throttle.
10. If the Stunt Car rolls onto its back, the small trick wheels will allow it to continue moving.
11. After use, turn Car Switch off, then turn Remote Switch off, and retract antenna.

Maintenance
1. Keep the Stunt Car clean and dry.
2. Store the Stunt Car inside the original foam packing out of the reach of children.
3. Properly recycle all used batteries.

Harbor Freight Tools Co. makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and durability standards, and warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or alterations outside our facilities, criminal activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
