the back of the manual near the assembly diagram (or month and year of purchase if
product has no number). Keep this manual and the receipt in a safe and dry place for

any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number shown
on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the
beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein
before set up or use of this product.
Note: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages, refer
to the Assembly Diagram near the end of this manual.
Assembly
Remove the protective plastic coverings from all items including the attached 1.
Rollers.
Connect the Operating Handle (1) to the Shaft Gear (10) with Bolt (11) and 2.
Washer (12), as shown on the cover.
Slide the Working Handle (2) between the Right and Left Screw Gears (4,5) into 3.

Mounting
The Mill must be mounted before use. Choose a work surface that is at, level, 1.
and capable of bearing the weight of the Mill and workpieces.
Operating Handle must be positioned to rotate freely.2.
Using the Base of the Mill as a template, mark with a pencil where the holes need 3.
to be drilled. Verify that installation surface has no hidden utility lines before
drilling.
Drill holes in the work surface and mount the Mill rmly using appropriate 4.
Remove the uppermost Bolt (11) and Washer (12) from Side Gear (7). 1.
Remove Side Gear located below Right Screw Gear (4). See Figure 1.2.
3. Remove Left Screw Gear (5) and Right Screw Gear (4) from the Mill body by
turning counterclockwise.
Remove all four Bolts (11) from Cover (6) of 4.

With the Cover off, pull Roller and Plates (13) 5.

up and out of Mill.
Choose the correct Roller for the job.6.

Remove Plates from end of Roller that was 7.

in the machine and install on the end of the
chosen Roller.
Slide Plates and desired Roller back down into Mill body. Attach the Side Gear. 8.
Place the Cover back on the unit.
Thread Bolt with Washer back into place on the body.9.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Choose the desired Roller. The Mini-Rolling Mill comes with ve different Rollers:
two Smooth Rollers (15), two
Pattern Rollers (17), and a
Wire Roller (16). Choose the
Roller with the pattern best
suited to your workpiece.
Install as directed in the
Assembly section of this
manual.

Caution. Keep hands clear of Gears and Rollers during operation. The Gears and
Turning the Working Handle will raise or lower the top roller, changing the amount 2.
of space between the Rollers. This will also determine the depth of indentation
that is made by the Roller.
Insert the workpiece and turn the Operating Handle to pull it through the Rollers.3.
Clean, then store the product indoors, out of children’s reach.4.
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
CAUTION

Cleaning, maintenance, and lubrication
Damaged products can fail, causing personal injury. Do

free from defects in materials and workmanship for the period of one year from the date

To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with
transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint
must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection veries the defect, we will either
repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price
if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired
products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted
from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning
the product.
