Safety Warnings and Precautions
WARNING: When using this product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of personal injury and damage to equipment.
Read all instructions before using this product!
Avoid working alone. If an accident happens, an assistant can bring help.

Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite injuries.

Observe work area conditions. Keep work area well lighted.
3.
Keep children away. Children and pets must never be allowed in the area when you are
4. loading or unloading a vehicle with the Ramp. Do not let them climb or walk on Ramp.
Store idle equipment. When not in use, the Ramp must be stored in a dry location to
5. inhibit rust. Always lock up Ramp and keep out of reach of children.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can be caught in moving
6. parts. Protective, electrically non-conductive clothes and nonskid footwear are recom­mended when working. Wear restrictive hair covering to contain long hair. Protect your hands with heavy duty work gloves.
Use eye protection. Always wear ANSI-approved impact safety goggles.

Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.

Maintain Ramp with care. Inspect Ramp periodically, and if damaged, have it repaired
9. by an authorized technician.
Use the right Ramp for the job. Do not attempt to force a small Ramp to do the work
10. of a larger industrial Ramp. There are certain applications for which this Ramp was designed. Do not modify this Ramp and do not use this product for a purpose for which it was not intended.
Stay alert. Watch what you are doing, use common sense. Do not set up and use the
11. Ramp when you are tired.

Check for damaged parts. Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged
12. should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform its intended function. Check for alignment and binding of moving parts; any broken parts or mounting fixtures; and any other condition that may affect proper operation. Note: Dents or other imperfections in the Ramp may lead to a weakening of the structural strength of this product; do not use the ramp if this type of damage is noted.
Replacement parts and accessories. When servicing, use only identical replacement
13. parts. Use of any other parts will void the warranty.
Do not use this product if under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Read warning
14. labels on prescriptions to determine if your judgment or reflexes are impaired while taking drugs. If there is any doubt, do not use the Ramp.
Maintenance. For your safety, maintenance should be performed regularly by a quali-
15. fied technician.
Ground contact. Use your Ramps on a solid, level, flat, dry surface. Make sure the
16. Tongue edge fully contacts the tailgate of the vehicle.
17. Clean Ramps. Prior to each use, clean dirt, oil, or any debris off ramps.

Load vehicle slowly. Never ride a vehicle down the load ramp.

Never exceed the 1250 Lb. Maximum, including people pushing the load. Doing so
19. can result in personal injury and/or damage to the ramp. Be aware of dynamic loading! If you drop a load on the ramp or if the load bounces, it may create, for a brief instant, an excess load which may result in damage to the ramp and/or personal injury.

It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
Unpacking
When unpacking, check to make sure the parts listed at the end of this manual are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the number on the cover of this manual.
