Lieferung kontrollieren

1. Transportieren Sie das Gerät an einen ge­eigneten Standort und packen Sie es aus
(s. Kapitel „Inbetriebnahme“ auf Seite DE-14).

2. Prüfen Sie, ob die Lieferung vollständig ist.

3. Kontrollieren Sie, ob das Gerät Transport­schäden aufweist.

4. Sollte die Lieferung unvollständig sein
oder das Gerät einen Transportschaden
aufweisen, nehmen Sie bitte Kontakt mit
unserem Service auf (siehe „Service“ auf
Seite DE-21).

WARNUNG!

Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen, wenn es
einen sichtbaren Schaden aufweist.

Verpackungstipps

Sollten es Ihre räumlichen Verhält­nisse zulassen, empfehlen wir Ihnen,

die Verpackung zumindest während
der Garantiezeit aufzubewahren. Sollte das
Gerät zur Reparatur eingeschickt werden
müssen, ist es nur in der Originalverpackung
ausreichend geschützt.

Das Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung im privaten
Haushalt bestimmt.

Verwenden Sie das Gerät ausschließlich wie
in dieser Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben.
Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht be­stimmungsgemäß und kann zu Sachschäden
oder sogar zu Personenschäden führen. Der
Hersteller übernimmt keine Haftung für Schä­den, die durch nicht bestimmungsgemäßen
Gebrauch entstanden sind.

Das Gerät arbeitet mit
Netzspannung. Das Berühren von span­nungsführenden Teilen kann zu schweren
Verletzungen oder zum Tod führen.

■ Gerät nur in Innenräumen verwenden.

Nicht in Feuchträumen oder im Regen
betreiben.

■ Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen oder wei-

ter betreiben,

■ wenn es sichtbare Schäden aufweist,

z.B. die Anschlussleitung defekt ist.

brannt riecht.

■ Gerät, Netzstecker und Netzkabel von

offenem Feuer und heißen Flächen fern­halten.

■ Netzkabel nicht knicken oder klemmen

und nicht über scharfe Kanten legen. Die
Folge kann ein Kabelbruch sein.

■ Bei der Aufstellung des Gerätes ist si-

cherzustellen, dass die Netzanschlusslei­tung nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt
wird.

■ Ortsveränderliche Mehrfachsteckdosen

oder Netzteile nicht an der Rückseite der
Geräte platzieren.

■ Wenn das Netzkabel des Geräts

beschädigt ist, muss es durch den
Hersteller, dessen Kundendienst oder
eine qualifi zierte Fachkraft ausgetauscht
werden.

■ Gerät nicht mit einer externen Zeit-

schaltuhr oder einem separaten Fern­wirksystem betreiben.

■ Keine Gegenstände in oder durch die Ge-

häuseöffnungen stecken und sicherstel­len, dass auch Kinder keine Gegenstände
hineinstecken können.

■ Netzstecker immer selbst, nicht am Netz-

kabel anfassen.

■ Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Hän-

den anfassen.

■ Netzkabel und Netzstecker nie in Wasser

oder andere Flüssigkeiten tauchen.

■ Im Fehlerfall sowie vor Reinigung und

Wartung den Netzstecker ziehen.

■ Eingriffe und Reparaturen am Gerät

dürfen ausschließlich autorisierte Fach­kräfte vornehmen, so wie unser Service
(siehe „Service“ auf Seite DE-21).
Eigenständige Reparaturen an dem Ge­rät können Sach- und Personenschäden
verursachen und die Haftungs- und Ga­rantieansprüche verfallen. Niemals ver­suchen, das defekte – oder vermeintlich
defekte – Gerät selbst zu reparieren.

■ In diesem Gerät befi nden sich elektrische

und mechanische Teile, die zum Schutz
gegen Gefahrenquellen unerlässlich
sind. Bei Reparaturen dürfen ausschließ­lich Teile verwendet werden, die den ur­sprünglichen Gerätedaten entsprechen.

Ein unsachgemäßer Umgang mit dem
Gerät kann zu einem Brand und zu
Sachschäden führen.

■ Gerät nur an eine ordnungsgemäß

installierte Schutzkontakt-Steckdose
anschließen. Der Anschluss an
eine Steckdosenleiste oder eine
Mehrfachsteckdose ist unzulässig.

■ Um ausreichende Luftzirkulation

zu gewährleisten, müssen die Lüf­tungsschlitze und der gesamte Raum
oberhalb des Geräts frei bleiben.

■ Um ausreichende Luftzirkulation zu

gewährleisten, Belüftungsöffnungen im
Gerätegehäuse oder im Einbaugehäuse
nicht verschließen.

■ Gerät nicht direkt an die Wand stellen.

Gefahren für Kinder und Personen mit
eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen
oder geistigen Fähigkeiten!

■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jah-

ren und darüber sowie von Personen mit
verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel
an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt wer­den, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüg­lich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus re­sultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder
ab 3 Jahren und jünger als 8 Jahre dür­fen das Kühl-/Gefriergerät be- und entla­den. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-War­tung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Be­aufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

■ Kinder nicht mit der Verpackungsfolie

Explosionsgefahr!
Ein unsachgemäßer Umgang mit dem
Gerät kann zu Explosionen führen.

■ Keine explosiven Stoffe oder Sprühdosen

mit brennbaren Treibmitteln im Gerät
lagern, da sie zündfähige Gas-Luft­Gemische zur Explosion bringen können.

■ Auf keinen Fall Abtausprays verwenden.

Flammen oder Eis krat zer ver wen den.

Gefriergeräten

Im Kältemittel-Kreis lauf Ihres Geräts

net wird, kann es zu einem erheblichen
Temperaturanstieg in den Fächern des
Gerätes kommen.

■ Die Flächen, die mit Lebensmitteln und

zugänglichen Ablaufsystemen in Berüh­rung kommen können, regelmäßig reini­gen.

■ Rohes Fleisch und Fisch in geeigneten

Behältern im Kühlschrank so aufbewah­ren, dass es andere Lebensmittel nicht
berührt oder auf diese tropft.

■ Wenn das Kühl-/Gefriergerät längere

Zeit leer steht, das Gerät ausschalten,
abtauen, reinigen und die Tür offen las­sen, um Schimmelbildung zu vermeiden.

Gesundheitsgefahren bei Kühlgut!
Das Gerät arbeitet eventuell nicht
einwandfrei, wenn es über längere Zeit
zu geringer Umgebungstemperatur
ausgesetzt wird. Es kann dann zu einem
Temperatur anstieg im Inneren kommen.

■ Vorgesehene Umgebungs temperatur

ein halten (siehe Zeile "Klimaklasse" auf
Seite DE-22).

HINWEIS

Gefahr von Sachschäden!
Unsachgemäßer Umgang mit dem Gerät
kann zu Sachschäden führen.

■ Beim Auspacken keine spitzen Gegen-

stände verwenden.

■ Keine elektrischen Geräte innerhalb des

Kühlfachs betreiben, die nicht der vom
Hersteller empfohlenen Bauart entspre­chen.

■ Die Wärmedämmung Ihres

Ge rä ts besteht aus Po ly u re than
mit um welt ver träg li chem Pen tan­Isolierschaum. Zum Ab tau en keine
elek tri schen Heiz ge rä te, Schaber, Messer
oder son sti ge Hilfs mit tel mit of fe ner
Flamme wie z. B. Kerzen ver wen den. Die
Wär medämmung und der In nen be häl ter
sind kratz- und hit ze emp fi nd lich und
können schmelzen.

■ Zum Beschleunigen des Abtauvorgangs

keine anderen mechanischen Einrichtun­gen oder sonstigen Mittel als die vom
Hersteller empfohlenen benutzen.

■ Um den Geruch zu ent fer nen, der allen

neuen Ge rä ten an haf tet, den In nen raum
mit lau war mem Es sig was ser aus wi schen.

■ Beim Transport und der Inbetriebnahme

beachten:

■ Gerät nicht in die Horizontale kippen.

Gerät nur gegen die Wand lehnen, um
den Türanschlag zu wechseln.

■ Gerät nach dem Transport 2 Stun den

ruhig ste hen lassen, damit die Kühl­ fl üs sig keit zur Ruhe kommt.

■ Beim Reinigen beachten:

■ Auf keinen Fall Seife, schar fe, körnige,

soda-, säure- oder lösemittelhaltige
oder schmirgelnde Putz mit tel verwen­den. Empfehlenswert sind Allzweckrei­niger mit einem neutralen pH-Wert.

■ Die Türdichtung ist empfi ndlich gegen

Öl und Fett – das Gummi wird dadurch
porös und spröde.

■ Die Oberfl ächen werden durch unge-

eignete Reinigungsmittel beschädigt.

ver wen den.

■ Nur weiche Tü cher verwenden.

■ Darauf achten, dass kein Wasser in die

Lüftungsschlitze, in die elektrischen
Teile und in die Ablauföffnung dringt.

■ Glühlampe ausschließlich zur Beleuch-

tung des Geräte-Innenraums verwen­den. Sie ist nicht zur Beleuchtung eines
Raumes geeignet.

Voraussetzungen

Sie können das Gerät nutzen, wenn

– Sie das Kapitel "Sicherheit" gelesen und

die Sicherheitshinweise verstanden haben
(siehe Seite DE-5).

– es aufgestellt und angeschlossen ist, wie

im Kapitel "Inbetriebnahme" beschrieben
(siehe Seite DE-14).

Ein- und ausschalten

Mit Hilfe des Temperatur-Reglers (2) können
Sie das Gerät ein- und ausschalten. Der Tem­peratur-Regler befindet sich an der Seite des
Kühlbereichs und ist stufenlos einstellbar.

3. Lassen Sie die Tür leicht geöffnet, damit
sich kein Schimmel bildet.

4. Für längere Außerbetriebnahme ziehen
Sie den Netzstecker.

Temperatur regeln

WARNUNG

Gesundheitsgefahr!
Das Gerät arbeitet eventuell nicht ein­wandfrei, wenn es über längere Zeit zu ge­ringer Umgebungstemperatur ausgesetzt
wird. Es kann dann zu einem Temperatu­ranstieg im Inneren kommen.

■ Halten Sie die vorgesehene Umgebungs-

temperatur ein (siehe "Klimaklasse" auf
Seite DE-22).

Mit dem Temperatur-Regler (2) stellen Sie die
Temperatur im Kühlbereich ein.

• Wählen Sie zunächst eine mittlere Einstel­lung.

• Wählen Sie bei ansteigender Um ge­ bungs tem pe ra tur, z. B. im Sommer, eine
entsprechend hö he re Ein stel lung.

Einschalten

1. Stellen Sie den Temperatur-Regler (2) auf
„1“ bis „7“.
Das Gerät ist eingeschaltet, die Innenbe­leuchtung (1) leuchtet, der Mo tor beginnt
zu arbeiten, das Käl te mit tel strömt durch
die Rohre und Sie hören ein leich tes Rau­schen.

2. Macht das Gerät störende Geräusche,
überprüfen Sie den festen Stand und ent­fernen Sie Gegenstände auf dem Ge rät.

Ausschalten

1. Stellen Sie den Temperatur-Regler (2) auf
"0".

2. Räumen Sie das Gerät aus, tauen Sie
es ab und reinigen Sie es (siehe Kapitel
„Pflege und Wartung“ auf Seite DE-12).

Um die Innen-Temperatur

• höher einzustellen, drehen Sie den Tem­peratur-Regler in Richtung „0“.

• niedriger einzustellen, drehen Sie den
Temperatur-Regler in Richtung „7“.

Um die Kühlleistung kontrollieren zu können,
benötigen Sie idealerweise ein Kühl-Thermo­meter. Platzieren Sie es

• oberhalb der Gemüse-Schublade (8)
im Kühlbereich; die richtige Temperatur
beträgt hier +6 °C.

WARNUNG

Explosionsgefahr!
Ein unsachgemäßer Umgang mit dem Ge­rät kann zu Explosionen führen.

■ Keine explosiven Stoffe oder Sprühdo-

■ Alkohol nur fest verschlossen und ste-

zugänglichen Ablaufsystemen in Berüh­rung kommen können, regelmäßig reini­gen.

■ Rohes Fleisch und Fisch in geeigneten

Behältern im Kühlschrank so aufbewah­ren, dass es andere Lebensmittel nicht
berührt oder auf diese tropft.

■ Wenn das Kühl-/Gefriergerät längere

Zeit leer steht, das Gerät ausschalten,
abtauen, reinigen und die Tür offen las­sen, um Schimmelbildung zu vermeiden.

• Bestücken Sie den Kühlbereich so, dass
die Temperaturverhältnisse im Inneren
optimal ausnutzt werden:

– Legen Sie streichfähige Butter und Käse

in den oberen Bereich auf die oberste
Glasablage (11) oder die obere kleine
Türablage (3). Dort ist es am wärmsten.

– Stellen Sie Flaschen und Ge trän ke-

kartons in die breite Türablage (4). Stellen
Sie vol le Be häl ter dich ter zum Scharnier,
um die Belastung der Tür zu vermindern.

– Legen Sie Gekochtes und Gebackenes

auf die untere Glasablage (11).

– Legen Sie Frischfleisch, Wild, Geflügel,

Speck, Wurst und rohen Fisch auf
die Glasabdeckung für die Gemüse­Schublade (9). Dort ist die Temperatur
am niedrigsten.

– Legen Sie frisches Obst und Gemüse in

die Ge mü se -Schub la de (8).

• Damit Aroma und Frische der
Nahrungsmittel im Kühl be reich erhalten
bleiben, legen oder stellen Sie alle zu
küh len den Le bens mit tel nur verpackt in
den Kühlbereich. Ver wen den Sie spe zi el le
Kunststoffbehälter für Lebensmittel oder

Pflege und Wartung

WARNUNG

Gesundheitsgefahr!

■ Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen

nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden,
es sei denn, sie werden beaufsichtigt.

Stromschlaggefahr!

■ Vor dem Reinigen den Netzstecker zie-

hen. Dabei am Netzstecker selbst, nicht
am Netzkabel ziehen.

■ Darauf achten, dass kein Reinigungswas-

ser in die Lüftungsschlitze, in die elektri­schen Teile und in die Ablauföffnung
dringt.

HINWEIS

Die Oberfl ächen und Türdichtungen wer­den durch ungeeignete Behandlung be­schädigt.

■ Niemals scharfe, soda-, säure-, löse-

mittelhaltige oder schmirgelnde Reini­gungsmittel verwenden. Diese greifen
die Kunststofffl ächen an. Empfehlens­wert sind Allzweckreiniger mit einem
neutralen pH-Wert.

■ Pfl egemittel nur für die Außenfl ächen

verwenden.

■ Die Türdichtungen sind empfi ndlich ge-

gen Öl und Fett – das Gummi wird da­durch porös und spröde.

■ Nur weiche Tücher verwenden.

Türdichtungen kontrollieren
und reinigen

Die Türdichtungen müssen regelmäßig kon­trolliert werden, damit keine war me Luft in das
Gerät eindringt.

1. Klemmen Sie zur Prüfung ein dünnes
Stück Pa pier an verschiedenen Stel len
ein . Das Pa pier muss sich an allen Stellen
gleich schwer durch zie hen las sen.

2. Falls die Türdich tung nicht überall gleich­mäßig an liegt: erwärmen Sie die Dich tung
an den entsprechenden Stellen vor sich tig
mit ei nem Haar trock ner und ziehen Sie
sie mit den Fin gern etwas her aus .

3. Reinigen Sie verschmutzte Türdichtungen
nur mit klarem Wasser.

Außenwände reinigen

– Lackierte Oberflächen

Verwenden Sie nur eine leichte pH-neutrale
Seifenlauge.

Kühlbereich abtauen

Dies ist nicht notwendig. Denn der Kühlbe­reich Ihres Geräts be sitzt eine Abtau-Automa­tik. Reif und Eis werden au to ma tisch ab ge taut
und das Tauwasser auf der Rückseite des
Ge rä ts in einer Tauwasserschale gesammelt.
Durch die Wärme des Mo tors verdunstet das
Tauwasser.

1. Stellen Sie den Temperatur-Regler (2) auf
„0“.

2. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

3. Nehmen Sie das Kühlgut heraus und stel­len Sie es in ei nen kühlen Raum.

4. Nehmen Sie die Gemüse-Schublade,
Türablagen, die Glasablage über der
Gemüse-Schublade und die Glasablagen
heraus und reinigen Sie sie in lauwarmem
Wasser mit etwas Spülmittel. Trocknen
Sie alle Teile gründlich.

5. Wischen Sie den In nen raum mit war mem
Was ser und Spül mit tel aus .
Geben Sie beim Nach wi schen ei ni ge
Trop fen Es sig ins Was ser, um Schim mel­ bil dung vor zu beu gen.
Wischen Sie den Innenraum trocken und
lassen Sie die Tür zum Lüften noch einige
Zeit offen.

6. Säubern Sie die Öffnung des
Tauwasserablaufs (10) mit dem
Reinigungsstäbchen (5).

7. Reinigen Sie die Türdichtung nur mit
klarem Wasser. Sie ist empfindlich gegen
Öl und Fett.

8. Setzen Sie alle Ablagen und die Gemüse­Schublade wieder ein und legen Sie das
Kühlgut wieder ein.

9. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker wie der ein
und drehen Sie den Temperatur-Regler (2)
auf die ge wünsch te Einstellung.

Glühlampe wechseln

WARNUNG

Stromschlaggefahr!
Weil das Gerät mit gefährlicher Netzspan­nung arbeitet, kann das Berühren von
spannungsführenden Teilen zu schweren
Verletzungen oder zum Tod führen.

■ Vor dem Wechsel der Glühlampe den

Netzstecker ziehen.

Ausschließlich Glühlampen mit einer Leistung
von max. 10 Watt, 230 Volt und Sockel E 14
verwenden, die dieselbe Form besitzen.

1. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose.

2. Lösen Sie mit einem Kreuzschlitz-Schrau­bendreher die Schraube der Abdeckung
und nehmen Sie die Abdeckung ab.

3. Drehen Sie die Glühlampe aus der Fas­sung und ersetzen Sie sie durch die neue.

4. Schrauben Sie die Abdeckung wieder fest.

5. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder in die
Steckdose.

Beim Transport, bei der Aufstellung, Aus­richtung oder beim Ab- und Anmontie­ren der Türen die Hilfe einer weiteren
Person in Anspruch nehmen.

■ Ablagen, Schubladen, Tü ren etc. nicht

als Tritt brett oder zum Ab stüt zen ver­ wen den.

■ Den Kältekreislauf nicht be schä di gen,

z. B. durch Auf ste chen der Käl te mit tel­ ka nä le des Ver damp fers mit schar fen
Ge gen stän den, Ab knic ken von Rohr lei­ tun gen usw.

■ Herausspritzendes Käl te mit tel ist brenn-

■ Damit im Fall einer Leckage des Kälte-

mittelkreislaufs kein zündfähiges Gas­Luft-Gemisch entstehen kann, muss der

je 8g Kältemit­tel haben. Die Menge des Kältemittels
in Ihrem Gerät fi nden Sie im Datenblatt
(siehe Seite DE-22).

Unsachgemäßer Umgang mit dem Gerät
kann zu Beschädigungen führen.

■ Das Gerät möglichst nicht in die Horizon-

tale kippen, sondern nur in einer Schräg­lage von maximal 45 ° transportieren.

■ Gerät nur gegen die Wand lehnen, um

den Türanschlag zu wechseln.

■ Beim Auspacken keine spitzen Gegen-

stände verwenden.

Transportieren und Auspacken

• Transportieren Sie das Gerät mit Hilfe
einer Transportkarre oder einer zweiten
Person.

• Packen Sie das Gerät aus und entfer­nen Sie vorsichtig alle Verpackungsteile,
Kunststoffprofile, Klebestreifen und
Schaumpolster innen, außen und auf der
Geräterückseite.

Der geeignete Standort

Um die größtmögliche Kühlleistung bei ge­ringstem Energieverbrauch zu erzielen, wäh­len Sie einen Standort, der:

– nicht zu warm, trocken und gut be lüf te t ist,
–nicht di rekt von der Son ne beschienen wird,
– mindestens 2,9 m3 groß ist.

VORSICHT

Beschädigungsgefahr!
Das Gerät arbeitet eventuell nicht ein­wandfrei, wenn es über längere Zeit zu ge­ringer Umgebungstemperatur ausgesetzt
wird. Es kann dann zu einem Temperauran­stieg im Inneren kommen.

■ Vorgesehene Umgebungs temperatur

einhalten (siehe "Klimaklasse" auf
Seite DE-22).

Ungünstig ist ein Platz un mit tel bar neben
einem Ofen, Herd oder Heiz kör per. Die Min­ dest ab stän de zu sol chen Ge rä ten betragen:

– zu Elektroherden 3 cm
– zu Öl- und Kohleherden 30 cm
– zu Kühlgeräten 2 cm
– zu Wasch-/Geschirrspülmaschinen 2 cm

Können diese Abstände nicht eingehalten
wer den, stellen Sie eine Isolierplatte da zwi­ schen . Ist im Auf stel lungs raum eine Fußbo­denheizung installiert, legen Sie eine Isolier­platte aus festem Material un ter das Gerät.

Gerät aufstellen und
ausrichten

1. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen möglichst
ebenen, fe sten Un ter grund.

2. Um eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation zu
gewährleisten,

– muss der gesamte Raum oberhalb des

Geräts frei bleiben.

– darf das Gerät nicht direkt an der Wand

stehen. Lassen Sie mindestens 3 cm
Abstand zur hinteren Wand.

3. Gleichen Sie Unebenheiten des Un ter­ grunds über den vorderen Schraub fuß
aus. Dazu

– Schließen Sie die Tür.
– Kippen Sie das Gerät leicht nach hinten.
– Drehen Sie den Schraub fuß hinein bzw.

heraus, bis das Gerät senk recht aus ge­ rich tet ist.

– Stellen Sie das Gerät wieder gerade hin.

vor dem Umbau bitte vollständig durch.

Neben dem Lieferumfang

– mittelgroßer Kreuzschlitz-Schraubendreher
– mittelgroßer Schlitz-Schraubendreher
–8er Schraubenschlüssel

Gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät nicht

ans Stromnetz an ge schlos sen ist.

2. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung für die

obere Scharnierplatte mit einem Schlitz­Schraubendreher.

benötigen Sie:

4. Drehen Sie die zwei Befestigungsschrau­ben der oberen Scharnierplatte heraus.
Verwenden Sie dafür einen 8er Schrau­benschlüssel oder einen Kreuzschlitz­Schraubendreher.

5. Nehmen Sie die Scharnierplatte ab.

6. Nehmen Sie den Blindstopfen heraus
und setzen Sie ihn auf der gegenüberlie­genden Seite ein.

3. Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung auf der ge­genüberliegenden Seite.

7. Nehmen Sie die Kühlschranktür ab.

8. Um das untere Türscharnier umzusetzen,
kippen Sie den Kühlschrank maximal 45 °
nach hinten.

9. Schrauben Sie den Schraubfuß (7) heraus.

10. Schrauben Sie die untere Scharnierplat­te ab. Verwenden Sie dafür einen 8er
Schraubenschlüssel oder einen Kreuz­schlitz-Schraubendreher.

11. Lösen Sie die Stiftschraube mit einem
einem Schlitz-Schraubendreher.

12. Drehen Sie die Scharnierplatte und
schrauben Sie die Stiftschraube in die
andere Seite der Scharnierplatte.

13. Schrauben Sie die Scharnierplatte
auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite
fest. Verwenden Sie dafür einen
8er Schraubenschlüssel oder einen
Kreuzschlitz-Schraubendreher.

14. Schrauben Sie den Schraubfuß wieder
am Kühlschrank fest.

15. Setzen Sie die Kühlschranktür in die un­tere Scharnierplatte ein.

16. Stellen Sie den Kühlschrank vorsichtig
aufrecht hin.

17. Schrauben Sie die obere Scharnierplatte
auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite fest.

18. Setzen Sie die Abdeckungen wieder ein.

Grundreinigung

transportiert wurde, kann sich das
Schmiermittel aus dem Kompressor in
den Kühlschrank verlagert haben. Gerät
dann 12 Stunden ruhig stehen lassen.

• Schließen Sie den Netzstecker an eine
vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steck do se an
(220 - 240 V~ / 50 Hz / 10 A).

Risks in handling household

The appliance operates on 220-240 V~/50 Hz
mains voltage. Touching live parts may result
in severe injury or death.

■ Only use the appliance indoors. Do not

use in wet rooms or in the rain.

■ Do not operate or continue to operate

the appliance,

■ if it has visible damage, e.g. the power

cord is defective.

■ if it starts smoking or there is a smell

of burning.

■ makes unfamiliar noises.

In this case, you should pull out the
mains plug and have the appliance re­paired (see „Service department“ on
page EN-20).

■ Only connect the appliance to an easily

accessible socket so that you can quickly
disconnect it from the mains in the event
of a fault.

■ Lay the mains cord so that it does not

pose a tripping hazard.

■ Keep the appliance, mains plug and

mains cord away from open fl ames and
hot surfaces.

■ Do not kink or pinch the mains cord or

lay it over sharp edges. This can result in
a break in the cable.

Risks when dealing with fridge and
freezer appliances

Dangers from the refrigerant!
Your appliance’s refrigeration circuit con­tains the environmentally-friendly, but
fl ammable refrigerant R600a (isobutane).

■ Mechanical intervention in the refrigera-

tion system must only be carried out by
authorised specialists.

■ Do not damage the refrigerant circuit,

for example by piercing the refrigerant
channels of the condensate vaporiser
with sharp objects, cutting off the tub­ing, etc.

■ Refrigerant is fl ammable when spurting

out and can damage the eyes. In this
case, rinse your eyes in clean water and
seek medical assistance immediately.

■ To prevent the formation of a fl ammable

gas-air mixture in the event of a leakage
in the refrigeration circuit, the installa­tion space must have a minimum size of
1 m³ per 8 g of refrigerant in compliance
with the EN 378 standard. Information
on the amount of refrigerant in your ap­pliance can be found on the data sheet
(see page EN-21).

Danger of explosion!
Improper handling of the appliance can
lead to explosions.

■ Do not store explosive substances or

spray cans with fl ammable propellants
inside the appliance, as they may cause
ignitable gas-air mixtures to explode.

■ Never use defrosting sprays. They can

generate explosive gases. Also refrain
from using electric heating appliances,
naked fl ames or ice scrapers. The insula­tion could melt or become scratched.

■ Only store high-proof alcohol upright

and tightly sealed.

Health hazard!
Contaminated foods can cause health pro­blems.

■ Opening the door for long periods can

cause a signifi cant increase of the tem­perature in the compartments of the ap­pliance.

■ Clean regularly surfaces that can come

in contact with food and accessible drai­nage systems.

■ Store raw meat and fi sh in suitable cont-

ainers in the refrigerator, so that it is not
in contact with or drip onto other food.

■ If the refrigerating appliance is left emp-

ty for long periods, switch off, defrost,
clean, dry, and leave the door open to
prevent mould developing within the
appliance.

Refrigerator food safety!
The appliance may not operate properly if
exposed to low ambient temperatures for
extended periods of time. This can then
lead to an increase in temperature inside
the appliance.

■ Abide by the specifi ed ambient tempera-

ture (see ‘climate category’ line on page
EN-21).

■ The insulation of your appliance is made

of polyurethane with environmental­ly compatible pentane insulating foam.
Do not use any electrical heating equip­ment, scrapers, knives or any kind of aid
with a naked fl ame, for example candles,
to defrost. The thermal insulation and
the interior are scratch and heat-sensi­tive and can melt.

■ Do not use mechanical devices or other

means to accelerate the defrosting pro­cess, other than those recommended by
the manufacturer.

■ To get rid of the smell that comes with

all new appliances, wipe down the inside
using lukewarm water with vinegar.

■ Observe the following for transport and

start-up:

■ Do not tilt the appliance horizontal-

ly. Only rest the appliance against the
wall to change the door hinges.

■ After transport leave the appliance to

stand for 2 hours to allow the coolant
to settle.

■ When cleaning, please note:

■ Under no circumstances should sharp,

coarse, sodium carbonate-based, acid­ic, solvent-based or abrasive cleaning
agents be used. All-purpose cleaners
with a neutral pH are recommended.

■ The door seal is sensitive to oil and

grease - the rubber becomes porous
and brittle as a result.

■ The surfaces can be damaged by un-

suitable cleaning agents. Use care
products only on the outer surfaces.

■ Use only soft cloths for cleaning.

■ Make sure that no water gets into the

ventilation slots, the electrical parts
and the drain opening.

■ Only use the bulb to illuminate the in-

terior of the appliance. It is not suita­ble for lighting a room.

Requirements

You can use the appliance if

– You have read the ‘Safety’ chapter and un-

derstood the safety instructions (see page
EN-5).

– It has been set up and connected as de-

scribed in the ‘Start-up’ chapter (see page
EN-14).

Switching on and off

The temperature controller (2) can be used
to switch the appliance on and off. The tem­perature controller is located on the side of
the fridge compartment and can be adjusted
continuously.

Switching on

1. Set the temperature controller (2) to a set­ting between ‘1’ and ‘7’.
This switches on the appliance: the in­terior lighting (1) will turn on, the motor
will start running, the refrigerant will flow
through the piping and you will hear a
slight noise.

2. If the appliance makes worrying noises,
check its stability and remove any objects
on top of the appliance.

Switching off

1. Set the temperature controller (2) to ‘0’.

2. Empty the appliance, defrost it and clean
it (see chapter „Care and maintenance“
on page EN-12).

3. Leave the door open slightly to avoid
mould formation.

4. Unplug the appliance from the mains
socket if you do not intend to use it for a
prolonged period of time.

Thermostat control

WARNING

The appliance may not operate properly if
exposed to low ambient temperatures for
extended periods of time. This can then
lead to an increase in temperature inside
the appliance.

■ Abide by the specifi ed ambient tempera-

ture (see ‘Climate class’ on page EN-21).

The temperature controller (2) can be used
to set the temperature in the fridge compart­ment.

• First select a medium setting.

• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, so select a lower
setting accordingly.

To adjust the inside

• higher, turn the temperature controller to­wards ‘0’.

• lower, turn the temperature controller to­wards ‘7’.

You ideally need a refrigerator thermometer
to be able to control the cooling efficiency.

• above the vegetable drawer (8) in the
fridge compartment; the correct tempera­ture here should be +6°C.

• Fill the fridge compartment in such a way
that the temperature conditions inside are
used to their full potential:

– Place spreadable butter and cheese in

the top section on the top glass shelf (11)
or on the top small door shelf (3). This is
where it is warmest.

– Store bottles and drinks cartons in the

wide door compartment (4). Position full
containers closer to the hinge in order to
reduce the strain on the door.

– Place cooked and baked foods on the

bottom glass shelf (11).

– Place fresh meat, game, poultry, bacon,

sausage and raw fish on the glass cov­er of the vegetable drawer (9). This is
where the temperature is lowest.

– Place fresh fruit and vegetables in the

vegetable drawer (8).

Maintaining quality

• To maintain the flavour and freshness of
food in the fridge compartment, only place
packaged food in the fridge compartment.
Use special plastic containers for food or
customary films.

• Place the food

– in the fridge in a way that allows the air

to circulate freely. Do not cover the glass
shelves with paper or anything similar.

– somewhere that is not directly against

the rear wall. Otherwise it may freeze
onto the rear wall.

Saving energy

• Allow hot food to cool before placing it in
the fridge compartment.

• The temperatures in the appliance and
thus the energy consumption can in­crease

– if the doors are opened frequently or for

a prolonged period.

– if the room temperature fluctuates up

and/or down.

• Energy consumption is also dependent
on the selected location (for more detailed
information, see page EN-14).

Moving the glass shelves

The glass shelves (11) can be moved around.

1. Lift up the glass shelf and remove it.

2. Slide the glass shelf to the new position
from the top via the guides at the sides.

Removing the door shelves

The small door shelves (3) can be reposi­tioned.

– Lift up the door shelf and remove it.
– To reinstall the door shelf, insert it from the

top into the guide rails on the sides.

■ Never use harsh, soda, acid, solvent or

abrasive cleaners. These attack the plas­tic surfaces. All-purpose cleaners with a
neutral pH are recommended.

■ Use care products only on the outer sur-

faces.

■ The door seals are sensitive to oil and

grease – making the rubber porous and
brittle.

■ Only use soft cloths.

Checking and cleaning door
seals

The door seals must be checked regularly so
that no air can enter the appliance.

1. To test them, clamp a thin piece of paper
in various places. The paper should be
difficult to pull through at all points.

2. If the door seal does not sit evenly
throughout, use a hairdryer to carefully
warm it up at the affected areas and pull
them out slightly with your fingers.

3. Clean dirty door seals with clean water
only.

Clean exterior

– Coated surfaces

Only use light pH-neutral soapy water.

Defrosting the fridge
compartment

This is not necessary. The fridge compart­ment of your appliance has an auto-defrost
feature. Frost and ice are automatically de­frosted and the thaw water is collected in a
thaw water container on the reverse side of
the appliance. The thaw water evaporates as
a result of the heat generated by the motor.

1. Set the temperature controller (2) to ‘0’.

2. Pull out the mains plug.

3. Remove the chilled goods and place them
in a cool room.

4. Remove the vegetable drawer, door
shelves, glass shelf above the vegetable
drawer and the glass shelves and clean
them in lukewarm water with a little wash­ing-up liquid. Dry all parts thoroughly.

5. Wipe down the inside with warm water
and washing-up liquid.
When wiping clean, add a few drops of
vinegar to the water to prevent mould
from forming.
Wipe the interior dry and leave the door
open for a while to air.

6. Clean the opening of the defrost drain
(10) using the cleaning rod (5).

7. Clean the door seal with clean water only.
It is sensitive to oil and grease.

8. Replace the shelves and vegetable draw­er and refill with chilled goods.

9. Reinsert the mains plug and turn the
temperature controller (2) to your desired
setting.

Changing bulb

WARNING

Risk of electric shock!
As the appliance works with mains volt­age, which can be dangerous, touching live
parts may lead to serious injury or death.

■ Unplug the mains cable before changing

the light bulb.

Use only E14 light bulbs that have an output
of max. 10 watts, are rated for 230 volts and
are of the same shape.

1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.

2. Loosen the cover screw with a
cross-headed screwdriver and remove
the cover.

3. Unscrew the light bulb from the holder
and replace with a new one.

4. Screw the cover back on.

5. Re-insert the mains plug into the socket.

ance horizontally; transport it at a maxi­mum incline of 45 °.

■ Only rest the appliance against the wall

to change the door hinges.

■ Do not use sharp objects to unpack the

appliance.

Moving and unpacking

• Move the appliance using a trolley or with
the help of a second person.

• Unpack the appliance and carefully re­move all packaging items, plastic profiles,
adhesive strips and foam padding from
inside, outside and from the back of the
appliance.

Suitable location

To achieve the highest possible cooling per­formance with the least energy consumption,
choose a location that:

– is not too warm, is dry and well ventilated,
– is not in direct sunlight,
– measures at least 2.9 m3.

We do not advise placing it directly next to
an oven, stove or radiator. The minimum dis­tances to such appliances are:

– from electric stoves 3 cm
– from oil and coal burning stoves 30cm
– from refrigerators 2 cm

– from washing machines/dishwashers 2 cm

If these distances cannot be maintained,
place an insulating plate in-between. If un­derfloor heating is installed in the room where
the mini refrigerator is to be installed, place an
insulating plate of solid material underneath.

Setting up and aligning the
appliance

1. Place the appliance on as flat and as firm
a base as possible.

2. To ensure adequate air circulation,

– the entire space above the appliance

must be clear.

– the appliance should not stand directly

against the wall. Keep the appliance at
least 3 cm away from the rear wall.

3. Level out any unevenness on the ground
using the levelling foot (7) at the front. To
do this

– Close the door.
– Tilt the appliance backwards slightly.
– Turn the levelling foot inwards or out-

wards until the appliance is level.

– Reposition the appliance upright.

Changing the door hinges

You can change the side on which the door
opens. The stop is on the right on delivery.

As this alteration requires some manual skills,
please read through the work instructions be­fore altering.

In addition to the package contents, you will
require:

– Medium-sized cross-headed screwdriver
– Medium flat-headed screwdriver
– 8-sized spanner

Proceed as follows:

1. Ensure that the appliance is not connect­ed to the power supply.

2. Remove the cover for the upper hinge
plate with a flat-headed screwdriver.

4. Check the position with a spirit level.
The appliance should not move when open­ing the door.

3. Remove the cover on the opposite side.

4. Unscrew the two screws securing the
upper hinge plate. Use an 8 mm wrench
or a cross-headed screwdriver.

5. Remove the hinge plate.

6. Take out the blind cover and insert it on
the opposite side.

11. Loosen the stud bolt with a flat-headed
screwdriver.

12. Turn the hinge plate and screw the stud
bolt to the other side of the hinge plate.

7. Remove the refrigerator door.

8. To adjust the lower door hinge, tilt the
refrigerator to a maximum of 45 ° to the
rear.

9. Unscrew the screw-on foot (7).

10. Unscrew the lower hinge plate. Use
a size 8 spanner or a a cross-headed
screwdriver.

13. Screw the hinge plate to the oppo­site side. Use a size 8 spanner or a
cross-headed screwdriver.

14. Rescrew the screw-on foot tightly onto
the refrigerator.

15. Insert the refrigerator door into the lower
hinge plate.

16. Carefully stand the refrigerator upright.

17. Tighten the upper hinge plate on the
opposite side.

20. Check whether the door seal sits se­curely in place (see Section „Care and
maintenance“ on page EN-12).

You have successfully changed the direction
the door opens to.

Cleaning before use

To remove the odour that comes with all new
appliances, clean the appliance before using
it for the first time (see Section „Cleaning the
fridge compartment“ on page EN-13).

Connecting the appliance

CAUTION

Risk of damage to property!
The coolant must be allowed to settle be­fore connecting.

■ After transport leave the appliance to

stand for 2 hours.

■ If your appliance has been transported

horizontally for an extended period of
time, lubricant from the compressor may
have got into the fridge. Leave the appli­ance for 12 hours in an upright position.

18. Reinstall the covers.

19. Align the refrigerator with a spirit level.

• Connect the mains plug to a properly in-

stalled socket (220-240 V~ / 50 Hz / 10 A).

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.

from their household waste, e.g. at a collec­tion point in their community/borough. Waste

are recycled in a professional manner and
also rules out negative consequences for the
