Chapter1 Introduction
Body camera, a video recording system, is typically used by law enforcement officers to record their interactions with the public and gather video evidences at crime scenes.
1.1 Main Features
H.264 and H.265 encoding technology. Up to 1080p/30 fps recording resolution. Wide-range lens with 129° horizontal FOV. Dismountable battery design. Built-in GPS module. 3G/4G network transmission. 2.4 inch TFT LCD. Light weight (190 g without should clip). Small size (95 × 60 × 29 mm) IP67.

1.4 Charge Body Camera
1.4.1 Charger Specifications
Input: 200 to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, 0.2 A. Output: 5 V/2.0 A
1.4.2 Charge
Purpose
Follow the steps below to charge the body camera.
Step 1 Open the cover of USB interface on one side of the body camera. Step 2 Connect the body camera to the charger with the USB data cable. The LCD will show the
charging status.

When the body camera is being charged, LED 1 is solid red. When it is fully charged, LED 1 is solid green.
You can enable quick charging mode in system settings. In quick charging mode, the body camera cannot be operated. If quick charging mode is disabled, you can operate the body camera normally when the body camera is being charged. Refer to Chapter 6.9 Set Quick Charging Mode for details.
1.4.3 How to Protect Charger
Once charging completed, disconnect the connection between charger and body camera, and
the connection between charger and power supply.
Handle with care. In case the charger or USB data cable is physically damaged or is affected
with damp, do not keep using it. You can contact us to change charger.
To protect device and your security, do not touch the body camera, charger, and USB cable
with wet hand.
Do not pull out charger from power supply by pulling the USB data cable.

Chapter 2 Startup and Shutdown
2.1 Start up
Before you start
Ensure the power is sufficient. If not, charge the body camera. Refer to Chapter 1.3 Charge Body Camera for details.
Step
Hold the On/Off button for 3 seconds. Then LED 2 turns green, and after 10 seconds, the HIKVISION logo pops up. You will hear an audible notification. All of these indicate the body camera starts successfully. Then it automatically enters the live view interface.
You can also hold the Recording button for 3 seconds to start up the body camera and start recording at the same time.
2.2 Turn on/off LCD
The LCD goes to sleep automatically when there is no operation in the predefined auto-lock time. Press any button, except PTT, to manually activate LCD. Press the On/Off button again to inactivate LCD.
2.3 Shut down
Hold the On/Off button for 3 seconds. When you hear an audible notification, and the HIKVISION logo pops up on the LCD, the body camera is shut down successfully.

3.2 Menu Introduction
Wake up LCD. Tap to enter the main menu, and tap to enter the sub-menu.

Playback
You can play back recorded videos, pictures, and audios.
Camera
You can set camera parameters including video resolution, bitrate, frame rate, pre-record time, post-record time, video clip time, picture quality, and video format.
Network
You can turn on/off Wi-Fi and 3G/4G dialing, and set network transmission resolution, bitrate, frame rate, platform connection, and network type.
System
You can set positioning parameters, time synchronization, system volumn, language, and so on.
3.3 Take Pictures
Purpose
You can take pictures of the crime scenes or other situations.
Step
Press to take a picture for current live view image.
The operation is invalid in playback, quick charging, and USB communication interface. Exit the interfaces before operation.
The picture is saved in memory in .jpg format and named by taking picture date and time.
3.4 Record and Capture
Purpose
You can record the videos in crime scenes or other situations. And during the recording, you can capture images.
Step 1 In live view, press to start recording. Or in power-off mode, hold for 3 seconds
to start up the body camera and start recording. Then in live view turns to and the LED 1 starts flashing in red.
Step 2 (Optional) During the recording process, press to capture the current live view image.
