2 Hangar 9 Phoenix 7 ARF Assembly Manual2
Intro
Designed by RC icon Don Lowe, the Phoenix 7 is one of
the most potent pattern ships of the 1970s. Seventh in
the Phoenix series, this Don Lowe creation dominated
the pattern circuit in the mid to late 1970s, won the US
Nationals and earned top placements for the US F3A World
Championship team at the 1977 World Championships in
Springfield, Ohio.
We at Hangar 9 are honored to have had the opportunity
to work with Don Lowe to bring an accurate recreation
of one of the most popular and contest-winning pattern
designs of all time. Finished in Mark Radcliff’s famous trim
scheme from the Phoenix 7 that earned him a spot on the
1977 US World Championship team, the Hangar 9 Phoenix
7 is a reminder of the smooth, arrow-like performance of
yesterday’s pattern ships.
