GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
It is important that you read and understand the owner’s manual and labels affixed to the machine. Learn its application and limitations as well as the specific potential hazards. Retain these instructions for future reference. The operator is responsible for following the warnings & instructions in this manual and on the product. If used according to these instructions and correctly maintained, your product will give you trouble free performance.
Preparation
1. Keep the work area tidy & well lit.
2. Never carry out alterations or modifications to this product.
3. Always load evenly with the centre of gravity of the load as near the centre and rear of the plate
as possible.
4. Obtain additional support for large or wide loads to prevent tipping.
5. Do not transport tall loads, which may impair your forward view.
6. Take care that the heaviest part of a tall load is to the bottom of the truck touching the frame.
7. When stacking loads ensure that the height of the stack does not extend above the handle.
8. DO NOT overload the truck - see Specifications.
9. DO NOT leave unattended, especially when loaded, unless the wheels are chocked or the truck is
otherwise secured.
10. DO NOT use truck on uneven ground and do not run over curbs or steps - use a ramp.
11. DO NOT allow others to ride on the truck.
12. DO NOT use the truck if any part is damaged, paying attention to the wheels Use
1. The Handy Folding Sack Truck is for domestic use only and should not be purchased or used for
commercial operations.
2. Fold down the toe plate ready to accept a load.
3. The handle can be extended by compressing the tabs on the central bar and pulling up on the
handle. Pull upwards until a 'click' is heard where location pins have been housed in location holes of the handle.
4. IMPORTANT! DO NOT overload the sack truck. DO NOT try to carry loads that make the truck
unstable.
5. Slowly lean the sack truck backwards to take the weight of the load.
6. Proceed at a safe speed especially at corners where there could be a danger of the load shifting.
7. Extra care should be taken on inclined surfaces.
8. Where there is a curb or step, a ramp should be used.
9. After use fold up the toe plate to the hold magnet. Retract the handles by compressing the tabs
on the central bar and applying downward pressure to the handle.
10. Store in a safe dry place.
11. Periodically check all fittings are tight and the wheels are secure.
12. Store the truck with the toe plate folded and facing a wall or similar structure to prevent the toe
plate falling unexpectedly.

OPERATION
Check the wheels/tyres for damage, prior to operation.
Fold down the toe plate. (1)
The handle can be extended by compressing the tabs on the central bar (2) and pulling up on the
handle (3). Pull upwards until a click is heard.
CAUTION: DO NOT overload the truck. DO NOT attempt to carry loads which make the truck unstable.
Place the load on the toe plate (ensure the General Safety Instructions are followed).
Once youre happy the load is in position, take a moment to think about the area you will be
passing with the truck, to ensure no trip hazards or obstacles are in the way.
Slowly lean the truck backwards to take the weight of the load, ensuring your feet are shoulder
width apart and one foot is slightly in front of the other, to assist with your balance.
Proceed pushing the truck at a safe speed, especially at corners where the load could shift.
On inclines and slopes, extra care should be taken.
Always use a ramp for steps and curbs.
After use, fold up the toe plate (1) until it is secured against the magnet. Retract the handles (3)
by compressing the tabs on the central bar (2), until the handle is in its lowest position.
Store as per the Storage section of this manual.

MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
WARNING Improper maintenance & storage of the machine may void your warranty. Keep the machine clean for better and safer performance.
MAINTENANCE
Before each use, check all nuts & bolts to be sure they are sufficiently tightened.
Keep all moving parts lightly greased/oiled, using Multi-purpose grease or maintenance spray.
We recommend only manufacturer original parts are used when maintaining this machine.
Failure to do so could invalidate your manufacturer’s warranty.
CLEANING
Keep your truck clean.
Thoroughly clean the machine at the end of each day’s operation.
Brush any dirt, grime or dust off the truck.
STORAGE
Store indoors or in a protected area during severe weather, winter months or direct sunlight.
Fold the handle down, toe plate up and store in a suitable place
Ensure the truck is not accessible to bystanders, who may try to stand on the truck to reach
items which are up high.

Users Statement of Warranty
Each new machine is warranted against defective material or assembly of material under normal usage. The warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers faulty parts and the labour involved in replacing and repairing those parts, which are of original manufacture.
Period of Warranty
All Webb & Webb Pro machines plus Sanli engines.
a) 2 years from the original date of sale to the first domestic user. b) 90 days from the original date of sale to the professional/commercial user. c) 90 days from the original date of sale when used for hire. d) A reduced warranty period of 90 days applies to those items which are subject to normal wear
and tear (e.g. but not limited to wheels, tyres, cutter bars, cylinders, bottom blades, belts, cables, grass bags, spark plugs).
e) Engines as per the manufacturer’s warranty statement which will be supplied with the machine. f) 90 days from the original date of purchase for Replacement Spare Parts (unless normal wear &
tear component, which are covered for 30 days).
g) All machines’ must be serviced within the first 12 months from the original date of purchase to
comply with the warranty, failure to do so will invalidate the 2nd year of the warranty.

All warranty repairs must be undertaken by an authorised service dealer. These dealers have been accredited by GJ Handy & Co Ltd and agree to only use genuine parts and follow our repair procedures.

GJ HANDY & CO LTD USER WARRANTY POLICY
Not covered by this warranty
a) The warranty policy does not cover any depreciation or damages caused by ordinary wear,
rusting or corrosion, lack of correct maintenance or operation, misuse, abuse, lack of transportation or accident.
b) The warranty policy does not cover any costs necessary for the standard periodic maintenance
services instructed by the operator’s manual, or service parts replacement which would include
oil, filters, tyres, belts, brake linings, fuses, blades, seals and other service parts unless it can be proven that the item has evidence of faulty manufacture.
c) The warranty policy will not cover failure or damage caused as a result of parts or accessories
being modified without the written approval of GJ Handy & Co Ltd.
d) The warranty policy will not cover the unit if non-genuine parts have been fitted and as a result
damage has occurred to the unit.
e) The warranty policy is non-transferable and is only applicable to the original purchaser.

a) This warranty is only a remedy for defect of products. GJ Handy & Co Ltd will never warranty in
terms of the merchantability or the fitness for a particular purpose.
b) No person is authorised to make any warranties, representations or promises, expressed or
implied, on behalf of GJ Handy & Co Ltd, or to modify the terms conditions or limitation of this warranty policy in any way.
c) Neither GJ Handy & Co Ltd nor any company affiliated with GJ Handy & Co Ltd shall be liable in
any event or manner whatsoever for incidental or consequential damages or injuries, including, but not limited to, loss of crops, loss of profit, out of pocket expenses or profits, rental of substitute equipment or other commercial losses.
General
a) Most warrantable failures show up within the first few weeks of use. These failures are usually
straightforward and warranty assessment is relatively easy.
b) Failures relating to cutter decks and belts need careful investigation, as the cause may not
always be straightforward. Look for damage to blades and pulleys especially when the cutter belt or blade boss have snapped or cracked as this could be due to impact damage.
c) Customers should always refer to the operator/instruction manual when any disputed problem
arises, you will find most areas covered within the manual.
