The TurnTable can be used for seated transfers between wheelchair and bed, toilet or chair/armchair. For increased
security, the TurnTable can be be used together with FlexiBelt/EasyBelt. TurnTable is available in three sizes with handles
or without handle for tight spaces.

Visual inspection
Check the condition and function of the
assistive device regularly. Check to ensure
that fabric is not worn or faded. If there
are signs of wear, the product must be
discarded.
Placement and use TurnTable
Place the TurnTable on the floor beside
the user. Secure the TurnTable in place,
before raising the user, by placing
the ball of your foot on the TurnTable
and your heel on the floor. Steer the
TurnTable by pushing with the front of
the foot and braking with the heel. When
the user is about to sit down, secure the
TurnTable in place as described above.
Special requirements and conditions
To transfer with TurnTable, the patient must be able to:
• support weight while standing
• stand up and maintain balance (with support)
• understand instructions
When transferring from bed to
wheelchair, place the wheelchair
close to the bed, so as to minimize
transfer distance.
When transferring to the toilet, place
the wheelchair close to the toilet, so
as to minimize transfer distance. Pull
the user’s pants up/down when the
user has risen slightly from the seat.
Preferably, two caregivers should
assist.

Care of the product
Clean TurnTable with pressurized air or water. If
necessary, disinfect with 70% alcohol. Teflon spray or
a similar product can be used to lubricate between the
plates so that they glide easily against each other.

Realice periódicamente un control de
funcionamiento del producto, siempre tras
su lavado. Compruebe que el material esté
íntegro, intacto y sin descolorar. Deseche el
producto en caso de indicios de desgaste.

Colocación y uso de TurnTable
TurnTable se pone sobre el suelo junto al
usuario. Inmovilice TurnTable durante el
levantamiento colocando la parte plana
del pie sobre la placa giratoria y el talón
en el suelo. El asistente puede controlar la
rotación empujando con la parte
delantera del pie y frenando con el talón.
Bloquee el TurnTable del mismo modo
que se indica más arriba a la hora de
sentar al paciente.
En los traslados de la cama a la silla
de ruedas, ésta se ha de colocar
cerca de la cama para que el desplazamiento sea lo más corto posible.
Cuidados
La superficie del producto se puede limpiar con agua
caliente o con una solución de jabón. Si es necesaria la
desinfección, se debería utilizar etanol al 70 %,
isopropanol al 45 % o similar.

Para poder desplazarse con TurnTable, el usuario deberá ser capaz de:
• someter a carga sus piernas
• ponerse en pie y mantener el equilibrio
(de ser necesario, con un apoyo)
• entender las instrucciones.
En los desplazamientos al inodoro se
sitúa la silla de ruedas cerca del inodoro
para que sea lo más corto posible.
Podrá bajarse y subirse los pantalones
cuando el usuario se haya separado del
asiento. A ser posible ha de contarse
con la colaboración de dos asistentes.
