The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. Care must be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally tripped over.

How to Operate
1. Make sure the unit is unplugged.
Place base on clean, dry surface.
2. Hook front housing onto base.
3. Place ice shaving chamber in front
housing and ensure it is seated on the shaft.
4. Twist shaft in direction of arrow to
lock into position.
5. Place mixing paddle in bowl.
6. If mixing shaved ice with other
ingredients, place ingredients in bowl. NOTE: Use serving size markings on bowl as a guide for appropriate ice and liquid levels.
7. Slide bowl into place on base and
turn clockwise until it stops at post. This will allow the mixing paddle to mix ice and ingredients once operation begins.
NOTE: The cup guide on base may be used to shave ice into bowl or cup other than bowl supplied.
8. Turn selector knob to desired
setting. Slushie setting produces finer ice. Snow Cone setting produces coarser ice.
9. Place ice in ice shaving chamber. Do not fill above top rim of ice
shaving chamber.
10. Plug cord into outlet.
11. Place lid on front housing and turn
clockwise to lock interlock switch (Power Start/ Stop). The unit will start and begin to shave ice.NOTE:
It may be necessary to open lid occasionally to redistribute ice.

12. Turn lid counterclockwise to stop.
DO NOT shave ice above top ICE line.
13. To remove bowl, turn counter-
clockwise, slide out and serve

How to Clean
1. Unplug unit from electrical outlet.
2. Wash lid, ice shaving chamber, front
housing with shaving blade, mixing paddle, and bowl in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
All removable parts may be washed
on the top rack of a dishwasher, or if an energy saver mode is used, top or bottom rack.
3. Wipe the base with a damp cloth.
Dry with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasives.
• Disconnect power before cleaning.
• Do not immerse cord, plug or base in any liquid.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or electrical shock.
• Avoid contact with shaving blade.
• Do not use if shaving blade is loose, cracked, bent or damaged.

PROBABLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
• Turn off. Redistribute ice in chamber.
• Is lid completely locked into interlock (power Start/ Stop) switch?
• Is unit plugged in?
• Is front housing locked into base?
• Is the shaft locked into position?
• Ensure ice shaving chamber is placed in front housing AFTER the front housing has been locked onto the base.
• Make sure bowl has been turned clockwise to stop at post on base
• Unshaven ice may melt and drip onto base, giving the appearance of leakage. Wipe base dry with a soft cloth. See “How to Clean.”

guide for serving size.
Vanilla Latte Slushie
4 ounces vanilla syrup 8 ounces cold, strong coffee Ice
Place all ingredients but ice in bowl with paddle. Shave ice on SLUSHIE setting to desired consistency or until large serving ice line is reached and serve.
Fresh Strawberry Slushie
6 ounces raspberry syrup 6 ounces water 24 ounces frozen strawberries 8 ounces ice
Place raspberry syrup and water in bowl with paddle. Shave strawberries on SLUSHIE setting. Shave ice on SLUSHIE setting until large serving ice line is reached and serve.
Pomegranate Freeze
6 ounces pomegranate juice 2 ounces raspberry syrup 2 ounces blue raspberry syrup Ice Fresh mint for garnish
Place all ingredients but ice and mint in bowl with paddle. Shave ice on SNOW CONE setting to desired consistency or until large serving ice line is reached and serve.
Pear Green Apple Raspberry Granita
4 ounces pear juice or nectar 2 ounces sour green apple syrup 2 ounces raspberry syrup Ice Fresh raspberry or green apple slices for garnish
Place pear juice and sour green apple syrup in bowl. Shave ice on SLUSHIE setting to desired consistency or until large serving ice line is reached. Pour into glasses, leaving at least 2 inches at top of glass. Rinse bowl and paddle.
Place raspberry syrup in bowl. Shave 8 to 16 ounces of ice on SLUSHIE setting. Add to top of pear green apple slushie in glasses. Garnish with fresh raspberry or slice of green apple and serve.

Tie-Dye Slushies
4 ounces blue raspberry syrup 4 ounces raspberry syrup Ice
Place blue raspberry syrup in bowl. Shave ice on SLUSHIE setting to desired con­sistency or until large serving ice line is reached. Pour into glasses, leaving at least 2 inches at top of glass. Rinse bowl and paddle.
Place raspberry syrup in bowl and repeat. Add 2 to 4 ounces of red raspberry slushie to blue raspberry slushie. Stir slightly
for tie-dye effect and serve. Try with Lime and Red Raspberry syrup too!
Caramel Sour Apple Slushie

2 cup sour apple syrup

4 cup caramel syrup
Ice Place all ingredients but ice in bowl with paddle. Shave ice on SLUSHIE setting to
desired consistency or until large serving ice line is reached and serve.
Summer Snow Man
Ice Variety of flavored and colored syrups 2 tablespoons water Small ice cream scoop or clean hands
Shave ice on SLUSHIE setting until large serving ice line is reached. Add water. Shape ice into balls with ice cream scoop or clean hands. Make into snow man shape and drizzle with syrup and serve.
Rainbow Snowcone
Ice Variety of flavored and colored syrups 2 tablespoons water Small ice cream scoop or clean hands
Follow same instructions as Summer Snow Man but place ice balls in paper cup and drizzle with assortment of syrups. Serve.

Frozen Pink Grapefruit Cosmopolitan
4 ounces pink grapefruit cocktail 2 ounces vodka 2 ounces raspberry syrup Ice
Place all ingredients but ice in bowl with paddle. Shave ice on SNOW CONE setting to desired consistency or until large serving ice line is reached and serve.
Frozen Peach Long Island Iced Tea
2 ounces vodka 2 ounces spiced rum 2 ounces peach schnapps 2 ounces sweet and sour mix 4 ounces cola Ice
Place all ingredients but ice in bowl with paddle. Shave ice on SNOW CONE setting to desired consistency or until large serving ice line is reached and serve.
Caramel Sour Apple Icy-Tini
2.5 ounces sour apple schnapps 2 ounces butterscotch schnapps 2 ounces vodka Ice
Place all ingredients but ice in bowl with paddle. Shave ice on SLUSHIE setting to desired consistency or until large serving ice line is reached and serve.

This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
